This author was new to me.I've been on a Russian kick in the last couple of days. While this one was good, it lacked the passion I was looking for. I did love the Russian Alexei, and liked Patrick. I just felt it was missing something. The plot was mediocre at best. I would have preferred a little bit more stank with my men.

Hope today is better!

No worries, Jenne!
Question, once I post do I then roll?

Review
I loved this story of Connor and Isabeau. It started of a little slow as they worked through his betrayal of her, but once they came together, the rest of the story picked up as well. Isabeau was such a strong, beautiful heroine and Connor was amazing. Feehan's shifter books are among my favorite of hers.

The formula Mrs. Cole uses just never gets old! You'd think after so many books it would but it doesn't. Even though this is technically the first I do not recommend reading it until you've read a few in the series. It's not necessary to the series arc and you'll appreciate it more after you've been introduced to the wonderful world of IAD a few times. I picked this up years ago before I'd ever touched an IAD book. It went to the DNF shelf and I had no intention of picking up an IAD book because of it. DON'T make the same mistake I did! I shorted myself and could of been enjoying this wonderful world years ago!

Review: This is my first Discworld novel, but not my first Terry Pratchett book, so I was expecting a clever story filled with fun characters and wacky situations. And, I wasn’t disappointed. This book introduces the reader to a disc-shaped planet resting on the backs of four elephants who ride on a giant turtle. While Pratchett has explored a number of people and places who inhabit this Discworld in the 40-odd books he has written in the series, in this first adventure the reader meets Rincewind, an inept wizard who has unwillingly become a tour guide for Twoflowers, a wealthy and naïve gentlemen who has left his comfortable life for one of adventure. The star of the show, however, may be Twoflowers’ Luggage, a walking box of sapient pearwood who refuses to be left behind. This book is completely ridiculous and quite an enjoyable read!

New spot is 20. We can read a 2nd in a series, or the 20th. Not sure about the 0. Jenne can clarify!
Or the cover has to have some type of mode of transportation.

And thanks for the rule update, Tamika! I was so sleepy, I didn't think about looking at the rules, LOL!
Not sure what I'm reading yet. I will look.

Review:
I really enjoyed this KA book in the Unfinished Hero series, though really the unfinished hero should be Sylvie. Creed was the boy she knew from the time she was six who saved her from her terrible childhood. But then it all went very wrong. Really really wrong. And 16 years later they meet. Sylvie is no longer the same person and the book is really more about her transformation than Creed's. Very emotional but of course the usual KA issues crop up - repetitious and overly long.

Don't worry Jenne you aren't the only one pissed off with their selection.

YES, I'M AT THE TSTL STAGE OF MINE. I have 40% left then it's back to Eve and Roarke plus mm

*Sighs*, I just don't see what the big deal is. I didn't like either character. The h was TSTL and the H was the biggest douchebag to ever live. I'm in the minority with this book, I already know. The only positive thing about the H was he owned up to his b.s
