There is Honor who is a Guild Hunter. She was tortured and trying to find out who did it. Holly(Sorrow) was tortured by Urium. Dimitri is trying to help both of them.

I liked the backstory, too. I wanted to know more about Dimitri. He has a sad but interesting story.

Sorrow was saved in the first book. She was the only one to survive Uriam's torture. I think Elena mention Honor's torture but never really discussed until this book.

I don't know...It will take a while for her to have control of herself and trust anyone again, especially someone like Venom. I love Venom, though, but I would not want to be on his bad side!

I'm enjoying this series, and more now that we get to see the histories of the other people. I'm hoping for Venom/Sorrow or Ashwini next...Or Jason. He's an interesting character :)

I am, too. I think Jason is next but not sure. I can't wait for Mercy. I have enjoyed that series so much!
