Definitely looks like this will be the last week then. Such a shame :-(

Today is a bank holiday, so I'm going to try and finish my book for Favorite Series as quickly as possible - unless I actually have to go and help a friend move, which isn't certain yet.For Urban Fantasy, I'll go with
which has been tagged 1042 times. It's been on my TBR shelf for years and I finally got my hands on a copy, so hopefully I won't be disappointed.
Aaaand Bingo round 18 has been won by team #6 Sixth Sense Readers :-)As per usual, please finish and review all outstanding books even if the game is technically over, so the mods can update their stats for the shelves. And this preferably before next Friday. Thanks! :-)
I'll do Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse, it's 287 pages and been tagged 487. I'm sad the round is over but this has been a ton of fun! Thank you all for the good time =)
I'm glad to hear you had fun with your first team challenge! Hopefully we'll see you again for the next round of Bingo :-)
CONGRATULATIONS, Getting Our Ducks in a Row!You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'next in series'.
[Your updated BINGO card can be viewed on page 1]

This was fun!
I've been eyeing this trilogy for a few years now, knowing vaguely what it was about and then a couple of months ago I saw the first movie and realised that I absolutely had to finally read it. And I wasn't disappointed. At all.
I enjoyed the idea of the story, the characters and the flow of the writing.... and I cannot wait to continue with the next one.
I'm going to read Wrong Ways Down by Stacia Kane for urban fantasy. It has been tagged 159 times and has 240 pages.

Review: This book is written from the viewpoint of Trouble. Trouble is an enforcer for a drug dealer named Bump. He collects money owed and uses his fists to gather information. When prostitutes begin getting attacked, he is tasked by Bump to find out who is doing it and to put a stop to it. Trouble doesn't think of himself as a smart man and struggles to find the answers needed. This book is difficult to read because Trouble speaks, and even thinks, in street slang. Sometimes I had to read a sentence more than once in order to understand what he was actually thinking or saying. I will be continuing the series though I'm not going to be rushing to read the next book.
Yay! :-)I've been a little lazy with reading this week so I'm not yet done with my book and I'm out for dinner with the girls tonight so I'm assuming I won't finish mine today, but I'll be done tomorrow!

Review - did this one on audio this time around. It’s been a few years since I read this. It was so much better in audio then when I read it. Things made much more sense and I didn’t have to worry about anybody’s accent or how to pronounce anything in my head. I enjoyed it enough this time around that I plan on reading book 2
If I hadn't enjoyed it enough to pick up book 2 on the first read, I never would have picked up the audio to try again. I really enjoyed that first book in the series, and I was entertained by the following 3 as well but for some reason I still haven't read the last in that first series. What made you change your mind to give it a second try?

So much sarcasm, so many dark comments and darkness in general - it was a treat to dive into this.
Niko, I'm still not quite sure what to make of. He's the knight in shining armour (though there are some flecks of blood on there) but he is so stoic sometimes that it's hard to make out more about him, or more than just the fact that he utterly adores his brother and would do anything to protect him.
Cal, I liked. Lazy bum and often sullen, he does have something that makes him endearing. Not to mention the snark. His lot in life definitely isn't the best, though he certainly could do a little less whining. Even so, for once, that didn't bug me.
When the action hits and it all goes south, I enjoyed myself a lot. Darkling was quite fun, in a somewhat disturbing way for sure, but fun nevertheless.
I'm definitely up for reading more about these guys and see what they get up to next.

Audio made it better for me. It was available during the 2 for 1 credit “sale” on audible recently. Glad I grabbed it.
Mmmh, that is true! It took me ages to get through each of the books as well. Not quite sure why that was, though I'm assuming it's the writing style.
I'm so sorry y'all, I've been super busy with work and Pride stuff. I'm trying to get my books done as soon as I can.
