Hanna | 48 comments Hello!

I'm looking for beta readers/editors to read through my second book in the Heritage Diaries series. It's the sequel to The New Diary The New Diary (Heritage Diaries, #1) by Hanna Kraft , which is based on my great-grandmother's life (about which she wrote in her diary) in 1930. This second book picks up right where the first left off, and pursues the theme of the importance of friendships.

I appreciate any readers, but here are some particular areas:

-An interest in Middle Grade fiction, and and an ability to edit in view of a younger reader; e.g., point out possible places where the grammar would go over an eight-year-old's head.

-An interest or experience in historical fiction, and an ability to note possible historical inaccuracies from the 1930's.

-I also welcome those who enjoy correcting little details, such as typos and awkward sentences

If you haven't read The New Diary, I can send it to you as a PDF, but I also would like a reader or two to read the second book as a stand-alone, and tell me if there is anything that's not explained enough.

Yay for the second book! :D I would accept in an instant if I didn't have loads of other books to read!

Is there any particular time you'd need it back?

Hanna | 48 comments I'm glad you're excited! I don't have a set deadline; but as long as I get your feedback by May, I'd say that would safely be in time. :)

Hanna | 48 comments Okay, great! Hmm ... I don't think so. Can you PM it to me? I should have the document ready to send out by this weekend.

Aria (arialisette) | 3 comments I can read this, Hanna! I used to be obsessed with the 30s and 40s, and I'm super detailed. I can read it as a standalone, if you like - or whatever you wish.
