Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Finished Mercury by Hope Larson and, sadly, was kind of let down. I've been wanting to read a Hope Larson graphic novel for years now and this book sounded so promising. It wasn't that it was bad, just kind of... flat? I don't know. I loved the artwork, though. I'll give H-Lars another shot :)

Up next will probably be Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus (Theodosia Throckmorton, #3) by R.L. LaFevers

Nikita Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee and World After (Penryn & the End of Days, #2) by Susan Ee

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I finished The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, #5) by Michael Scott earlier today. I wasn't overly crazy about the first couple of books, but really glad I kept with it. One more book and can't wait to see how it ends.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Finally finished The Enchantress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, #6) by Michael Scott Not the best book in the series, all and all, but the ending got me like whaaaaat?!

Also finished Bone, Vol. 1 Out from Boneville (Bone, #1) by Jeff Smith and Bone, Vol. 2 The Great Cow Race (Bone, #2) by Jeff Smith . I've been meaning to read these comics for years and am so glad I finally started. So far it's equal parts hilarious and epic.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I just finished book 3 of the Vengekeep Prophecies trilogy The Vengekeep Prophecies by Brian Farrey The Shadowhand Covenant by Brian Farrey The Grimjinx Rebellion by Brian Farrey . Seriously, guys, you NEED to read these books. They deserve to be one of those series like Percy Jackson that so many people gush about. In fact, I prefer it to Percy Jackson.

I'm having a hard time getting into it. Is it wroth it to keep going?

Totally worth it. I wasn't that into the book until after about halfway, but it does pick up, and the ending is maybe one of the best I've ever read.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Finished Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer Last night. Absolutely loved it, just as much as I loved Cinder. Both 5 stars :)

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Last night I finished Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3) by Marissa Meyer My favorite book so far in a series that is shaping up to be one of my top 5 or 10 series ever.

This morning I finished Bone, Vol. 6 Old Man's Cave (Bone, #6) by Jeff Smith Good god, I've never seen hilarity and drama balanced this well.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Just finished Sidekicks by Jack D. Ferraiolo and am blown away by how good it was. Wasn't ready for that at all, I got it as something light to break up my darker reads. It is, IMO, every bit as good as the Lunar Chronicle and Monstrumologist books I've been reading recently. Different, but equal in terms of how much I enjoyed. I doubt I'll convince many to check it out. Trust me, I almost passed on it. But if you do skip it, you're passing on what might very well end up being my favorite read of 2015.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I finished Charlie Bone and the Time Twister (The Children of the Red King, #2) by Jenny Nimmo It was better than book one, imo, but while I liked both, I loved neither. The premise of the series is really interesting though, and so I read on.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I finished Rotters by Daniel Kraus last night, and while it sounded kind of interesting, I am surprised at how much I loved it. Very, very good. Most of you folks should read, but fans of The Monstrumologist series absolutely should.
