SOLVED. YA Coming of Age Similar to (maybe inspired by) Georgia Nicolson series. [s]

I read this book when I was in middle school around 2007-2008. It had a hot pink cover and there may have been neon green writing or a drawing on the cover as well. It was set somewhere in England. The main character had two best friends and one was a model (or looked like a model). I remember the model friend teaching her friends how to pose with their hands on their hips in pictures to look skinnier. Or the main character was relaying the fact that her model friend knew how to pose in pictures to look skinnier.

The main thing I remember is that the love interest's name was Jimi. And I think to impress him the main character and her friends either wanted to go to a music festival or maybe start one. I think Jimi was in a band.

Looking back on the book as an adult it was very similar in tone to the Georgia Nicolson series. It might have even been inspired by the books and was likely written between 2002-2007.

I think it might be Mates, Dates, and Inflatable Bras. The love interest's name isn't Jimi, but the description of her friend that looks like a model is spot on. I might be combining two different books that I read in middle school.

Could also maybe be one of the girls in love series by jaqueline Wilson? Nadine gets into modelling in them, skinniness is a theme. My copy definitely had hot pink and green on the cover.

The main character's love interest in the LBD series by Grace Dent is called Jimi Steele, and a music festival seems to be a central plot point. The first book is It's a Girl Thing, which came out in 2000. There have been a few different covers but some of them are pink.
