Hi Srikar,
I pick:
1. 1984
2. To Kill a Mockingbird
You could read both or just pick one...
Both are short and interesting books to read. Also there is a good take away from both the books that made me look at any situation I face in life in a new light and therefore they are on my favorite book list.
Hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did.
Regards,
Niharika

You have a very good collection. But I did not read any of the books that are in your shelf. I pick these books for you.
1. The Picture of Dorian Gray
2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
These books are also there in my want-to-read list. Let me know how the books are, once you complete.

If there's any place available I would like to take part in this

Hi Smriti,
Please provide the link to your shelf. Your to-read shelf has 289 books and that is too many to select from. It is better to create a shelf of books that you would get around to reading immediately and provide the link here.

I wouldn't have meddled.. but I have to suggest something. You have provided a long list. It would be better if you can trim it down to only those that you want to read next. For starters, do you have all the books that you listed?
Also, some of those books may be very long to be finished in stipulated time (depending on your schedule). Are you sure that you can finish any selected?
I suggest you trim the options to, say 10, so that it's manageable to both parties.
Thanks.

Hi Nick, thanks for your advice but my personal opinion is that if we are having PIFM then it's good to have a slightly longer list to give the other party to select from. Maybe 90 books is a bit too many but I think we should at least have 25-30.
Doesn't sound much of a challenge to me if I just keep the books which I am going to read in the next 1-2 months anyways regardless of the PIFM.

Well again, it's become a matter of two types of people!!
As I see it if the chooser has read any book from the given list (and liked it) they will recommend it instantly. But if they haven't then they would have to go through it keeping in various factors like length of the read. And again, there is the issue of whether you are in possession of the recommended book or not. If I have 10 books already lined up, I probably wouldn't be willing to buy one more, as of now at least.
Second, the list is actually what people want to read in the coming months. If the list sharing and the "spirit of challenge" were so detached with each other, then I guess we should do away with list altogether and let the others recommend totally on their own.
Thanks.

Please pick from my Queued List"
