I think The Orange Girl will work for 20.3, if the mod agrees. The entire premise/basis of the book is a letter from father to son; the father wrote a letter to be read after his death. The letter is interspersed with the now-teenaged son's thoughts about the letter which concerns a woman. I would say the book is about 80% letter and 20% narrator (son). Google books has a preview. Hope you enjoy the book!

Yes, or a collection of letters. Ella Minnow Pea made up entirely of correspondence. A diary or a journal is a series of letters to oneself.
