Sorry I know this is probably blasphemy but this one wasn't really for me! I know its supposed to be classic Australian literature but I found it slow going and depressing.

Cloudstreet is the only Tim Winton book I have read and I gave it 3 stars too! Sometimes the classics are not the most readable books:)
