Jane (PS) | 24345 comments That’s correct - It has to be a number 🙂

Sorry - went for a walk and swim!

This is in the blurb/precis >> 'he's definitely keeping this one.'

Rachel C. (rachelus) | 611 comments If a number is part of a compound word (i.e. "one" in "everyone") can we count it?

message 56: by Alexa (new)

Alexa (psreadthisbook) | 313 comments Hello Jane, I was wondering if my book choice needs to be an adult book? We are driving across country this weekend and I have a few children's novels lined up to listen to in the car with my family. The book is still over 100 pages, but it is a children's book (Little House in the Big Woods). I just won't have much time to read other than those kids books.

As long as it meets the page requirement per GR, it is fine.

Ok. Thank you, Jane! :)

Jane (PS) | 24345 comments Trio wrote: "does this work? Three Nick Nowak Mysteries"

Yes - it is published as a single book. From what I can tell, all the books in the series have multiple stories within.

LaurLa | 5098 comments Jane (PS) wrote: "Hazel wrote: "Hi Jane for number 3 would the title second chance work or does it need to be two?"

Sorry Hazel - I missed this question.

No - it needs to be a number (ie 'two' in this case)."

I'm guessing that means Eighth wouldn't work either? No ordinal numbers at all - only numerals?

Yes- just numerals. in number form or spelt out.

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) | 1049 comments Hey, Jane. One of my team members is reading an arc that fits this weeks theme but there is no page count currently. She wants to know if she can still read it and just put the page count in her completion post since the book will be out officially by the time she's done?

Mamacita aka MawMaw (mamawantsbedtimestory) | 989 comments Question for later on in challenge does the book selections need to be read in order of weeks? Such as Week #1 b4 week #2? Or as long as we don't carry over 2 books they can be read 8n any order? Such as week #3 b4 week #2?

I'll jump in here since I'm pretty sure Jane is busy today. They can be read in any order...for example, you could leave your book for week 1 unfinished until late in the challenge if you wanted/needed to, and still finish the books for week 2, 3, etc. As you said, as long as you're not more than 2 weeks behind. Hope this makes sense!

Thank you so much Karen. This is my 1st time for this challenge so I'm still learning the ropes.

message 90: by Jane (PS), Moderator (last edited Mar 30, 2019 06:49PM) (new)

Jane (PS) | 24345 comments By stylised, I mean more non-realistic. Eg the phoenix that I disallowed: The Demon Crown (Sigma Force, #13) by James Rollins and this drawing on a tshirt: Three Mages and a Margarita (The Guild Codex Spellbound, #1) by Annette Marie

Hope this helps determine your books.
