I can think of 2 books right now. Since you mentioned Harry Potter, there is the flying Car on the cover of some editions of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
It would fit for
5. a book with 1.000.000 ratings
18. a book about someone with a superpower
27. a book featuring an imaginary creature
The other one is Christine by Stephen King
I haven't read it yet, so I can only say it fits
3. Written by a musician and maybe 36. a ghost story
Hope this helps :)
C.A. Belmond - her Penny Nichols series - which are charming reads -- one has a car on the cover and another has a boat, and they do feature in the stories too. And I believe they fit a bunch of different PS categories like amateur detective. Jasper Fforde - several of his feature vehicles on the cover -- especially in the Thursday Next Series and I'm pretty confident there are a number of PS categories that would work.
There seems to be a dearth of vehicles on the covers of books that I enjoyed... I did find one though! Ender's Game
It would work for book set in space or two word title, and possibly book revolving around a puzzle or game.

Alas, Chamber of Secrets is not allowed for this challenge since there is a separate challenge specifically for reading the entire Harry Potter series.
I am very intrigued by the Stephen King novel though. I've always wanted to read one of his books. Maybe now I'll get the chance.

I've always meant to read that. Is it as good as everyone says?
A couple more suggestions if you want them:
has a bunch of vehicles on the cover (and the art is fantastic - the Goodreads thumbnail doesn't do it justice). It's also a book with multiple POVs.
is third in a trilogy (with Perdido Street Station and The Scar), but all of them fit prompts: all three feature imaginary creatures (especially Perdido Street Station), The Scar and Iron Council have two-word titles, and Iron Council is multi-POV. They would also count for superpowers if you allow magic and such.

It's one of my husband's favorite books of all time. More of a four star book for me, but I definitely think it's worth reading as long as you're okay with some harsh emotional stuff. Orson Scott Card excels at character creation.
Nicole wrote: "The other one is Christine by Stephen King"I was going to suggest Christine, as well. It will fit author is a musician, ghost story, and book you see someone reading on tv (gilmore girls).
You could also use
for set in space or debut novel (he had some published non-fiction and a novel available through his website before this, but I believe this was his first published novel.) This is highly recommended.
-- the audiobook has a train on the cover. Audio available on hoopla (this varies by library, I believe). Can be used for debut novel.I'd also agree with Ender's Game. Another that I highly recommend.
I'm reading Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse right now. Based on what I've read so far, it would fit the prompts "own voices", cli-fi, author's first and last names start with the same letter, character with superpowers, inspired by myth/legend/folklore, and extinct or imaginary creature.
The only one that I can think off right now with a car on the cover is Revolutionary RoadIt also fits these prompts:
- two word title
- book about family
- debut novel
Agatha Christie has several with trains. boats or other vehicles on the cover:The Man in the Brown Suit - boat
Murder on the Orient Express - train
Poirot Investigates-boat
Murder in Mesopotamia- plane
The Mystery of the Blue Train - train
Destination Unknown - plane
These are all such lovely recommendations. I cant wait to have a look at all of them. Maybe I can find other challenges they satisfy as well.
The movie edition cover of Ready Player One paperback has stacks of trailers and trucks on the cover
I have one on my "To Be Read" list, that immediately came to mind! Alexander McCall Smith's, My Italian Bulldozer:
. If it were me, I could also easily put this book in my other challenge, for one of my "three books by the same author" (since there are still some McCall Smith books I haven't read), but that prompt is in my Modern Mrs. Darcy challenge, not PopSugar.
I tried to think of a PopSugar Prompt, and couldn't, unless you use it for #40, "Your favorite prompt from a past POPSUGAR Reading challenge", in which case, you could use it for:
2015: "A funny book", "A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit"
2016: "Set in Europe"
If the shadow of a vehicle counts, there is another book by Alexander McCall Smith, The Good Pilot, Peter Woodhouse
Using prompt #40 again:
2015: "Nonhuman characters" (the subject in the title is a dog), "Set in a different country" (Holland, England and Germany)
2017: "Set during wartime"
2018: "A book with an animal in the title"
Different editions have different covers, but some I remember reading (and enjoying)The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion
The Great Gatsby
Life of Pi

So I'm doing the Popsugar reading challenge and a Harry Potter related challenge over on facebook and I was thinking why not choose a book that can fulfill a challenge for both groups.
I'm looking for a book with a vehicle on it. Any kind of vehicle: car, boat, carriage, etc. It can fulfill any of the Popsugar challenges. I'm not very picky.
It's just been so long since I've really looked through any books so I'm trying to get back into the love of reading I really had when I was younger.
Thanks and I look forward to sharing reads with you guys.
