Eugenia Ang | 3 comments I remember quite abit of the plot for this book but I can't remember the title. Warning: Will contain spoilers

The main character is this girl who is seemingly born without any powers despite her father being one of the most powerful superheroes of all time. As such at the start of the book she was designing some kind of serum that will give her powers. But unknown to her, her mother is a villain, but she's working for the heroes (Not all villains are bad in this story) Both heroes and villains get some mark on their ear I think? To show which side they are on.
As the story progresses the main character teams up with a group of villains to defeat the antagonists of the story which are actually the heroes. The girl eventually discovers that she does have powers, and to hide it, her mother had been giving her a type of serum to prevent her powers from showing as well as giving her immunity from other powers, since it would alert the heroes that her mother was a villain. Her powers are electromagnetism and absorption?? (Her dad was a hero and her mum was a villain, so she has 2 types of powers, unlike usual full breeds(?? who only have 1) She also falls in love with a boy that has 2 powers as well. Biomanipulation and sth else. I cant rly rmb.

I also cant really remember around when I read this book. Maybe around 5 years ago? Its most likely under YA, but I cant really remember that either.
