Unable to claim book

Hi!

A book of mine came out on 7/28/14, at which time I tried to claim the book so that I could convert to an author's account. The FAQ said that it could take a few days, so I waited until two weeks had passed to make another request. Well, we're almost a month in and I still haven't heard anything. My reader account name and author's name are identical, so I'm not sure what the trouble is. I'd appreciate any assistance - thank you!

Actually, that thread is for merging an already-claimed author profile with another author profile. It won't work for claiming a profile in the first place.

If you are having a problem with claiming an author profile, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.
