Ben R | 7 comments So I’ve got a book in mind that I read last year, and I know I didn’t finish it. It starts when a woman who is struggling at work ends up in an old, abandoned house. She finds a pile of letters in the house, and she starts reading them. It turns out the letter are love letters from the previous occupants (I think?) war time boyfriend. I imagine the book had parallel storylines, but I can’t remember if that’s right. I think it came out in the last few years, but I can’t remember anything about the cover, the author, or the title.

Ben R | 7 comments No, that’s not it. I’m pretty sure the author is a woman.

Ben R | 7 comments No, that’s not it, either. Thanks, though. I’m trying to figure out where else I can look.

Cheryl! That’s it! “Letters to the Lost”! Thank you; I can take one thing off my mind that’s been bugging me lately. :)

Cheryl A | 77 comments Glad to help. I haven't read it yet, but I'm a sucker for (A) dual story lines (B) epistolary novels (or just novels with letters as part of the plot) and (C) WWII novels, so this was on my radar.
