I think I remember the cover having one of those children crossing the road signs on the front. I must of read this in about 2013 - 2015 and I think it was published about the same time. The main character of the book is a child that gets kidnapped and is then hired out to people who want to experience having a child or want a friend for their own child???? There was certainly a theme around people living for so long that it's balanced out by the inability to have children.

From what I remember the main character is in their early teens (I could be wrong about that) They are male and I remember this one part of the book where he goes to this party for another real child and at the party he meets a guy who looks like a child but is actually an adult who has taken this peter pan drug.
