Hari Haran | 109 comments I'm reading a book named 'Touch' by a not-so-famous author by the name of Claire North. I had a chance to read one of her well-known books, 'The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August' sometime last year, which gave me a unique reading experience. 'Touch' has started off with a promising premise, too. Reading on.

Swarnendu Bhushan | 12 comments The Book Thief - Just completed reading. Although most holocaust stories are gripping, this one has a completely different narration style. Descriptions are also very vivid. Although Mark Zusak, the author, tells the conclusions upfront for many events, you still feel like going through the journey. Captivating and fascinating!

N.J. Kulkarni (njkulkarni) | 13 comments I am reading this non-fiction book called Lifespan. I do not generally read non-fiction but this topic interests me. It's all about longevity written in a very scientific manner. It's got some technical stuff which at times you have to read twice but as it's a fascinating topic, I don't mind doing it.

Once you get deep into Anna Karenina you won't be able to leave it. I just loved this book.

the poppy war took a very dark turn in Middle, I was thinking of it as YA book when I started it but after 200 or so pages it just went into grimdark but enjoying that too. The Great Hunt has The Fellowship of the Ring vibe, which is alway welcome

Finished two books by Latin American authors. first was The War of the End of the World and second was Gabriela, Clove and Cinnamon. While first was a mammoth book about war and how it effected the people, second was a lighter take on a small town in Brazil. Both were very good.

Now reading The Alice Network.
