1. Chocolate comes from a fruit tree
TBR: Better Haunts and Garden Gnomes ( Un Lucky Valley, #1) by Michelle M. Pillow (green and trees on cover)
TBR: Hail Mary by Nicola Rendell (mmmmmmm.... Um what? I forgot what we were talking about... oh, yup those are big brown balls... Footballs!! ;-) )

2. Valentine's Day isn't the only chocolate holiday.
TBR: Birthday Suit by Lauren Blakely (birthday is a celebration)
NEW: One Day in December by Josie Silver (holiday and a good book, if an emotional one)

3. Research to date supports that chocolate can be enjoyed as part of a balanced, heart-healthy diet and lifestyle.
TBR: Summoned to Thirteenth Grave (Charley Davidson, #13) by Darynda Jones (304 pages)
NEW: Santerra's Sin A Loveswept Classic Romance by Donna Kauffman (240 pages and one you cant judge a book by its original cover! Totally enjoyed this book and the eye candy was delightful!)

4. Theobroma Cacao which means “food of the gods.”
TBR: Chasing Fire (Colorado High Country, #7; I-Team, #9) by Pamela Clare (food on the cover - eye candy counts as food YUMMY!)

TBR: Devil's Daughter (The Ravenels #5) by Lisa Kleypas (historcal)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Shea,
I just finished my second pick, and I loved it! That Part Was True That Part Was True by Deborah McKinlay I thought it was delightful and I am so glad you recommended it.

I also just finished Lemon Tart Lemon Tart (A Culinary Mystery, #1) by Josi S. Kilpack , which is the first one in the series for which you recommended that I read English Trifle. For this challenge, you are allowed to read the number in a series where you are, if that makes sense, and I had not read the first one. So I bought it, LOVED it, and now am reading the next one - along with five other ones you recommended! They all look so good this month that I am trying to read as many as I can. Thank you for such great picks!

2/3 Completed

1. Deception and Chaos (2/3) ★★

This was an okay read. Started out well enough, but it went downhill for me in the middle.

2. Train From Marietta (2/9) ★★★

I enjoyed this one more than I expected to. PG-13 historical romances aren't usually my thing, but I purchased this book years ago for some reason. Nicely paced with a good mix of romance and adventure.

I'm glad you had a relatively successful month and found some series to continue. I'm sorry to hear the female lead character in your current book is annoying, but it sounds like she's only in the one book. I'm a bit late reporting, but here is my list of completed books for February. I read a lot this month because your picks for me were excellent (and I had the time - lol!). All of these books were reallyt good! For two of them, I went back and read the previous one in the series before I read the actual pick - again, all were good and worth reading!

Lemon Tart (A Culinary Mystery, #1) by Josi S. Kilpack Lemon Tart (the one before the 'Trifle' one)
English Trifle (A Culinary Mystery, #2) by Josi S. Kilpack English Trifle Chocolate Secrets by Zelda Benjamin Chocolate Secrets
Trudy, Madly, Deeply (Working Stiffs Mystery, #1) by Wendy Delaney Trudy, Madly, Deeply (the one before 'Snickerdoodles')
Sex, Lies, and Snickerdoodles (Working Stiffs Mystery, #2) by Wendy Delaney Sex, Lies, and Snickerdoodles
What the Duke Desires (The Duke's Men, #1) by Sabrina Jeffries What the Duke Desires
Hidden Fires by Laura Jordan Hidden Fires
Delicious by Sherry Thomas Delicious
That Part Was True by Deborah McKinlay That Part Was True
Just Another Maniac Monday (Page Turners, #3) by Jennie Marts Just Another Maniac Monday

This is the most picks I have been able to read in one month for a while, and I enjoyed all of them! Thank you!
