I remember having the author visit my elementary school between 1996-1998. She was young I would assume a teenager or young adult. The characters in the picture book were walking and talking desktop computers and if I remember correctly the resided at a summer camp.

Were the illustrations colorful, full page, black and white, etc?Anything about the cover?
Part of a series?
Do you remember the plot of the book? Were the computers going camping at this summer camp?
If I remember correctly the computers were light blue, bright green, and bright pink. I think they were camp counselors? There was also a human camp counselor as well. I think the human camp counselor was a young lady with blonde hair. I don't believe this book was part of a series. I don't remember anything about the plot.
