Hello! I read this book 3 ish years ago, but I think it may have been published around the 2010-2013 area.
It's YA Contemporary/Chick lit

The main character is a girl in her high school newspaper club. She has to go on multiple dates with different boys (I think 9 in total) and at the end write an article on love.

Her rival/love interest is also in the same club. They butt heads and argue a lot, even though they used to date in middle school. Back then, their favourite date spot was an indoor roller blading rink.

One of the dates had her go to a pottery class, she ended up becoming friends with the boy she went with. Another date had a student from abroad. They couldn't understand each other, but he bought her chocolate because he sensed she was feeling sad.

Whenever the dates would get out of control, her LI would come in and end them.

Eventually the last date had her and her LI, and they reconcile.

At the end of the book, she goes to him with her final article and admits she likes him by filling one page with his name over and over, the same thing he did when he had a crush on her.
