I think I'm going to listen to the audiobook this time around. I LOVED this series when I read it when it first released. 😬💙

in coming soon but not yet. I will be on the look out for it.
Hurray! I just finished Siege and Storm tonight and will hopefully plow through the third. Six of Crows, here I come.
I'm not sure either, but I will reread it and Crooked Kingdom before King of Scars! Excited! I love these books so much, but I've only the read them the one time, when they first released.
Chapter 1 always throws me for a loop—I always expect Kaz and his crew opening up the piece. It’s neat to see the growth Bardugo had between the trilogy and duology. The trilogy was great but SoC is fantastic!!It’s fun to see all the tidbits she gives us foreshadowing what’s to come. I love how she gives us pieces of the past to keep us interested. Kaz and Jordie—oh my heart.
Chapters 14-16ish are some of my favorite. The friendship between Inej and Nina is one of my favorite of all time. ☺️
I should be jumping in this weekend!! It’s been a crazy work week again so I’m behind on all my reading. 😝
I picked it up from the library yesterday, so it's patiently waiting to be cracked open - I'm hoping to finish Twelfth Night today so I can start Six of Crows and City of Blades in the next day or so and then finish the month with Assassin's Apprentice and The Last Magician. BRs came out of NOWHERE this month!
I started listening to Six of Crows today!! I'm not in too far yet. But should have more listening time this week.
I just hit chapter 46....and Pekka mentions the Lantsov emerald. That meant nothing to me until I reread the Grisha Trilogy.
I'm on chapter 13. And like the first time, these characters have got their hooks in me already.

Oh yay! I should hit these chapters tonight!!
Do you have a favorite, Elora?

Haha.😂Can I say all of them??? Of all the books I’ve read, this is one of my favorites. But if I had to pick one, I think it would be when Inej is climbing the incinerator shaft. There’s so much heartbreak going on and she lets it all go and is reborn in a way. She’s my favorite character of the book and seeing her past and growth all in one go makes for a gut-wrenching scene. What about you? And my goodness, you’re hustling through this book! I was peeling my eyes open to read a chapter of Crooked Kingdom last night. 11 days!!
Moved onto Crooked Kingdom. It doesn’t matter how many times I read it, but the last page of chapter 44 always moves me to tears.
I just finished the backstory of Kaz and Jordy. The first half of it. My heart is already breaking and I’m not at the worst part yet.
I’m not liking the audiobook as much compared to print. These narrators aren’t doing it for me. But I’m like you, it’s really hard to pick a favorite! At this moment I’m back to Nina. But I know I’ll switch around again! 😝
Netflixed announced they are adapting Leigh Bardugo’s books:https://www.tvinsider.com/744057/netf...
I have been too busy to read print books, but I did get the chance to listen to Six of Crows over the last couple of days. Inej is in the process of climbing. Eek! I had to stop my book when I got home. Dang it! I’ll be continuing here in a bit.

That's such fun news. I'm trepidatious at the moment. I'm really hoping it's done well....and if it is, I'll be over the moon.
I know what you mean. TV and movie adaptations can be hit or miss. Hopefully they will do a great job.
Karen’s Library wrote: "I have faith in Netflix! They’ve done some really good shows!"They have. They’ve been putting out some really good ones.
Well, I finally finished! So happy I did this reread! I haven't decided if I want to reread
yet.
I have SO many other books I want to get to. I'll see how bad my book hangover is. HAahahaha!!

Made time and finally got to pick this up today - that initial parley in chapter two was very well played. Kudos to Kaz, and I'm hooked!
