Done. Someone else had already helped out by adding it to the series page. I also moved four paperback editions of your books to your author profile, and combined (linked) them to the existing editions of the corresponding titles you already had there.

Because there are a number of writers named "Mary Miller," I need a these books added to my profile, please (I am the Mary Miller who authored The Last Days of California, Always Happy Hour, Big World, etc.)Here are others that belong to me:

To be honest this is still a mess.
From what I can see the books were first publisher under
J. Jonas and than republished under Jeff Jones.
The editions are splited between two profiles and need to be corrected to have the same primary author name on all editions.
I can not work on it now, so I will come back to this later if nobody will pick this up.
Good morning Librarians, Goodreads lists me as J. C. Steel, Amazon as J C Steel, and so my latest book is showing up twice.
Please can they be merged?

Thank you. Yes, they were originally published under J Jones and then I have recently republished 4 of my books under Jeff Jones - this is also the name my new book A call to arms was published under. One of your colleagues explained before Christmas that because of the name differences they couldn't be posted under the correct profile and they kindly put a Librarian's Note on it saying I publish under both names. Does look a bit of a mess and I would be extremely grateful if you have any suggestions of how to tidy it up preferrably under Jeff Jones, although as tonight has proved there are plenty of others with that name. Your attention to this is greatly appreciated.
#11 moved two books to your profile and combined
#12 Jeff,I corrected and combined the editions.
I also added ISBNs to the new paperback editions and added Kindle editions with new covers.
As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default that will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Please see: Setting default edition
I think the best option for you is to contact staff to merge both profiles and change your profile name to Jeff Jones (6-spaces profile).
You will than be able to have all your books and editions listed under one author name.
I also noticed on your Amazon profile that you contributed to many more books.
Should I link those to your profile as well?

Thanks so much for doing that. Yes, please go ahead and link those other books to my profile as well.
I was led to believe that i couldn't merge both profiles as some books published under Jeff Jones (preferred choice) and some J Jones and don't understand what you mean about 6-spaces profile but if that is a way around the system I am very keen to try it. How do I go about it or whom do I need to contact please?

Hi Jeff,It is allowed for authors to use more clomplete version of their name, so 'Jeff Jones' would be allowed for all your books.
As librarians cannot edit author profiles you would need to contact staff for them to do the changes (https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta...).
Ask them to merge 6-space 'Jeff Jones' profile into 2-space 'J. Jones' profile and change your claimed profile name to 'Jeff Jones'.
(On Goodreads we differentiate authors with the same names using multiple spaces between the first name and the last name; both profiles listed above are currently yours).

The only book in the above list that I'm NOT in is The call/Welcome to the dance.

Also, I took your advice re choosing preferred editions and it worked on all but Last stand of old heroes which it won't let me alter - any clues why that might be please?

No idea. You can try setting it again, but if it will not work for you you will need to ask support to set the default edition for you as well (librarians do not have access to these settings).
