@Rosa, I'll be watching to see what you think of that book. I've recently been persuaded to add it to my to-read list, although it's not my usual genre.

It's a re-read, and I love this book! I really like the characters and the way that even it IS fantasy (because, it has magic and stuff) it has such a realistic feeling about it. I loved almost every book in this series

message 1084: by Jillian (new)

Jillian | 1573 comments Jan, I’m struggling with it but I’m liking it better now that I’ve speed up the narrator to 1.5. It does not help that I have a different dragon book going by one of my favorite authors.

I didn't do the audio Jillian - that could be a totally different experience.

I liked the narrator but my mind wanted to wonder really bad with this book. The library has the second book in print available so I'll try and see if that helps.

finished my I book:

Talking as Fast as I Can From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between) by Lauren Graham

I'm not too sure why I put it on my TBR, because, rather obviously, it's for fans of Gilmore Girls and I'm not really one of those. I rated it 3 stars, it bored me a lot but I think it was mostly because I don't know the series well enough to know about what or whom she was speaking, and after the first few I stopped to google the names of the actors to see about which character in the series she was talking.

message 1098: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 21026 comments I really enjoyed that show when it originally aired. I watched it with my girls. But I tried re-watching it recently and found it irritating. Funny how we change.
