I know I'm behind my reading speed so far. Been recuperating from the holidays. I hope to read a lot of books over the next week.
I finished Lake Silence will write my review and post it tomorrow. I think it will only get us two points as I was already 25% or so into it in December and it’s only like 400 pages?
I’m hoping to still do some reading tonight and if I’m really lucky finish another book tonight.
Plan for today:1. Write my review for Lake Silence and post it.
2. Finish Wild Magic currently about 25-30% in.
3. Read some more manga to help boost my goal.
4. Continue with my audio. Maybe get another chapter done?
5. Continue Guilty Pleasures.
Is anyone planning to post any books tomorrow? Cause I want to know if I should do the check in bright and early or let Jenny do it later in the day. :)
I am planning on reading up to the last minute so I'll check us in tomorrow. Thanks Book!

Sorry guys I will pick back up my books this week! We got a new kitten last week, and it has not been the easiest introducing him into the family.

He does! He is black and white with blue eyes. He's actually my boyfriend's dog, but perks of living with him (;

Ugh! I'm so jealous! Lol. I'm lucky I'm allowed to have my cats. My landlord didn't even want to let me have them. I'd love to get a dog. But my cat would probably kill me in my sleep if I got a puppy. Hahaha.

For some reason other dogs really don't like him. We were gonna try to breed him and get an all white female, but then we got a cat. So no more pets for us for now.

Wait so we have to start and finish books within the same week to count then? I am confused here as to why we might not be able to use it...
I asked in Q&A so we'll know soon. I know I'm supposed to check us in by midnight tonight for Week 1. So, I'm hoping we can use books we finished but didn't review/post the next week. I don't see why we wouldn't be able to but the date finished might confuse things.

Sounds like when we have to Start/finish a book and or review has a lot of pending approval or restrictions and not getting clear answers so I might not be continuing this challenge. If that is the case sorry.
Hi Jamie. You can read and post your book whenever you finish. I'm just going to count it when it's posted. No worries. No pressure. Read when and what you like. This is meant to be a fun challenge...

This is meant to be a fun challenge..."That is what I thought it was suppose to be but I start to worry when you have to get approval for it to count if not start/finished/reviewed in the same week. It has me baffled for that. I don't want to read a book to be told I took too long to finish it or review it (while within the challenge start/end dates of course) just to find out I wasted my time and it won't count for anything.
You're fine. The ONLY time you need to finish book by a certain date is when the challenge ends on 31 March. Other than that, read when and what you want to.
Jamie, I don’t think we need special approval for the book to count, I think we just weren’t sure about the rules. But now the mods have clarified in the Q&A thread that we don’t need to review the same week we start or finish to get credit.At least, that was my interpretation. And I hope so! If we are supposed to start and finish same week, I would probably get like 1 book all quarter, lol!
Goals for today:Start and Finish a Book. (not sure which one yet. Have a few options)
Read some manga to help with my reading goal. 8 is ideal but any will help.
Post my book to help with the points.
So I’ve been slightly dead the past few weeks. Some of it self inflicted (New Years and a girlfriends birthday celebration) but now I have this fun nasty chest cold that is going around. I’m off work today - so sleep and reads. Just wanted to check in and let you all know I’m alive...but barely 😂😂

Still here! I have finished one book, which I will review and post soon. I also started another short one, and I might finish it this week, but it could also be next week.

Oh, I see Felicia updated the check in thread with a new weight loss goal! 120. Which is more than we got last week, but it sounds like we have a few people who might be reading more this week (me included).
