Where does this book fit?

Hello! Sorry if it's been posted already, but does anyone know where This Is How It Always Is could fit in our lovely reading challenge list? Thanks :)

You could use it for #28 recommended by a celebrity since it was a Reese's Book Club pick. It could also be used for #31 about a family. I hope this helps!
Thanks Stephanie! I may have to move books around to fit the prompts but that's so much better than not including it. :)

Personally, I don't think that's stretching it at all. It is a tree. A tree is a plant. :)

I've seen people suggest "two words," but I already got Julius Caesar.
I've seen people suggest "no chapters, unusual chapter headings, etc.," but I already got Night.
Unless anyone has a better place for Julius Caesar or Night that I can move them to and put Everything, Everything in their place?

Duh! Thank you! I'll use it for the plants on the cover.

-Debut novel
-Book recommended by a celebrity (this is a guess, but I expect someone out there recommended it)
-Book about a family
-An Own Voices book

I already have Modern Romance for Two Word Title and Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed as Book Published in 2019. But maybe I could switch some things around...

I used The Testaments for an item of clothing or accessory on the cover. Maybe stretch it to a book with a wedding or you can see if you can find anyone reading it on TV, I'm sure it's had loads of coverage.

Unbreakable
Unmarked
The Unbound
Dark Triumph
Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

A previous fave category-a childhood classic you've never read.
A book you've seen read in a movie. Peter FAlk actually reads it to fred Savage in The Princess Bride.
I quote Princess Bride all the time, but hard to say if it’s reached idiom status? Popular quotes:
As you wish.
I do not think that words means what you think it means.
Have fun storming the castle!
Inconceivable!
You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you.
Never go in (up?) against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
MOST but not all of those are from the book. (I think the “castle” one is from the movie only.)

It could also match the prompt for A Book Published in 2019.

Hi Lisa! I haven't read the book but I have seen the movie. The two phrases I can think of (from the movie) are 'inconceivable' and 'as you wish'. I'm wondering if maybe those are the phrases?

I think I’m going more for “common phrase” with The Princess Bride. My husband uses “have fun storming the castle” everytime I leave the house. Going grocery shopping? “Have fun storming the castle” he’ll say. I’m not sure if he knows where the reference came from.
Your husband is clearly awesome because I shout: “Have fun storming the castle!” all the time :-) Kids heading out to school? Going on a field trip? Going grocery shopping?Walking the dogs? Check! Check! Check! Check!

I just finished that too! great book.
Maybe you think it should be turned into a movie?
This is a stretch, but (view spoiler) .
You could find a celebrity who recommended it.
You could ignore the "The" and call it a title with two words.
There is ALWAYS another prompt from a past challenge that would work.
It's "own voices."

Also looking for a place for The Lost City of the Monkey God. Any help is appreciated!

Also looking for..."
Americanah fits the advanced prompt for an own voices book and I think, technically, The Lost City is inspired by a legend so you could use it for that prompt.
Hope that helps.

It will fit 'A book recommended by your favorite blog, vlog, podcast, or online book club' if you make Reading Women your favourite blog, podcast or online book club!?

I'm counting The Road as cli-fi, too. I don't recommend The Road as a good book, but I tortured myself reading the whole thing and believe it comes within the definition of cli-fi.
