ladymurmur | 935 comments Give us the Scoop:
✓ Number of days/hours spent reading - 6 days, 24 hours
✓ Number and/or list of books read - 5 books read: Live and Let Drood, The Winter Long, Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor, Mastiff, and Cursed Moon.
✓ Number of pages read - Since my reading was all ebook or audiobook, I didn't track page numbers.

Optional Add'l Info to Share:
✓ Did you find it fun or was it more of a chore to complete? Fun. I don't know that I read any MORE than I normally would have, but paid more attention to the time spent reading.
✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? This was my first time participating in a RAT, and I'd definitely do it again. Might even keep tracking time casually during the course of this RAT, just for fun.
✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside? yes - I did make a list of books in advance. A couple of titles I ended up reading before the RAT started, and some I didn't get to before finishing the RAT.
✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot? For ebooks, curled up in bed. For audiobooks, my car on the drive home, or in the kitchen while cooking/baking.
✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? Nope - I pretty much just read when/how I'd normally read, but paid attention to time spent.
✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre? New series - the Jane Austen mysteries. Had been on my TBR for a while, and this was a great opportunity to do it.
✓ Did you read alone or with partner? Alone. Though it is not uncommon for my sweetie to be reading at the same time I am, there was no 'official' partner reading for the RAT.
✓ Which book format(s) did you use for your RAT? A mix of formats - ebook (Kindle) and audiobooks (Overdrive from the library)

✓ Did you find it fun or was it more of a chore to complete?
Well, I kept forgetting to track the time and sometimes forgot to record it until I did much later.

✓ Is this your first time participating in a Read-a-Thon? If so, would you participate again or was once is enough? If not, how did this year's RAT compare?
This was my first time. I will participate again, but should probably plan better!

✓ Did you choose RAT books in advance? If so, were you able to read all of the books you'd set aside?
I had some possible choices. But, I only managed to read 1 book among them. The rest all impulsive reads.

✓ Did you have a favorite, quiet reading spot?
Nope. As long I could read at a stretch, anywhere worked fine.

✓ Did you find it difficult to stick to your reading schedule? If so, how'd ya overcome it?
I did not manage a schedule. I simply read whenever I found time at length.

✓ Did you discover a new series, author or genre?
Yes, I loved Steel and Song and Going Down in Flames, both of which were first books in a new to me series and both authors were new to me too.

✓ Did you read alone or with partner?
Alone. I NEVER read with a partner!

✓ Which book format(s) did you use for your RAT? Audio, Paperback/Hardcover (DTB), or eBook OR did you use a mix of formats?
eBook(Kindle). Easier to carry and easier to take out at a moment's notice and read:)
