This may be a stupid question but would
work as a book starting with a B? I wasn't sure if we count the A at the beginning of books or not?

For Titles: Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count.
So if the letter is B: The Best Day would be ok. Dear Betty would not be ok.
Shy yes, a the and don't count (awesome book btw)Ezi the second one is plenty the king is super close but it's close enough I'd say go ahead.
Thanks ladies I just wanted to make sure but I am going with another book instead but I know for future reference.
Jenne, if all reviews are posted by midnight central tonight, but I cannot roll until after that, are we okay to do that? Thanks

JoAnne, that one would fall into the gray/silver category. I looked at the other editions and they're all the same cover.

For item cover building(s), does it has to be the entire building or can it be part of it. I'm debating on a couple of books and want to know if
will work or if I need more of a building on the cover.
#55 alternative - even if the building(s) are in the background at the bottom of the cover.....ex's:
Jenne wrote: "As long as you can see part (no matter the size) of a building(s) it'll work :)"excellent - just wanted to be sure before I made a 'final' pick :)
Now that we're nearing the end. Each team has the potential winning alternates under a spoiler tag in the alternate post of their threads. To win you must roll past 75 and you can either read the number you'd be on or the alternate for that spot. In the event of multiple teams having a shot at it, the winners would be whichever team finished first.
Jenne our team landed on spot 60 this week so the alternate is 4 stars.I'm not sure what the 4 stars refers to. Is that any book that has 4 stars in the description? I want to use
The Yard by Alex GrecianWill this work? Or does it have to be from that particular list?
Thanks
I just took a peek at it, it's not on the 4 stars shelf, you're gonna love this, it's on the 4 star but not 4 stars....
Jenne, could you let me know whether
would work for an animal on the cover? It has a fox although it is quite small...
Jenne wrote: "No it doesn't since it's not shelved 4 stars, sorry :("
foiled by 1 letter. That sucks
foiled by 1 letter. That sucks
Can I use this book as a stand alone?
it is 200+ pages, but does have small illustrations here and there. It is not a graphic novel. The goodreads preview shows how big the illustrations are. I just want to make sure it is within the rules :)
Quick spot update 1 46
2 71
3 52
4 63
5 63
6 62
7 60
8 59
9 58
10 63
11 50
12 60
13 68
14 67
So teams 2, 13, and 14 have the potential to win next week if they roll a high enough number.
