Yes, He didn't win the Best of the Best this year and Full Dark, No Stars lost in the mystery/thriller category to The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest in 2010. Could be others, I didn't check every category for every year.

Actually, I like that they put SK in sci-fi or mystery/thriller sometimes. I think his work often gets labeled as horror even when it isn't.

I would think so! lol I was a bit disappointed that he had multiple entries in the category. I see that every so often with different authors (Rick Riordan comes to mind) and I always feel like they should have chosen one book to include.

I feel better about this years GRCA winners than last year. There are 7 actual winners I want to read, and quite a few nominees =)
