Ooh, I feel back cause you liked this book but I didn't. This is how I feel after reading an Amanda Hocking book. I didn't like Wake nor her other series.

Gemma(view spoiler)[ I honestly didn't like her in this book. The first half of the book was her whining about not wanting to leave her house with the sirens, then the other half was her still whining, though she did start to get her act together. Kudos to her though for not losing her humanity. Yet at least. (hide spoiler)]

Alex(view spoiler)[ I had this question throughout the book. Why was he even there? He did nothing throughout the book and was just lovesick throughout. Except for the end when Gemma and Alex had their scene where Alex is no longer in love with her (hide spoiler)]

Harper and Daniel(view spoiler)[ They are the best couple in the series. But Harper had too much of a other hen persona to her. I'm having foreboding thoughts about Daniel because he's immune to the siren's call. Why do you think that is? (hide spoiler)]

The Harpies are surprising lovable...You know fro the beginning they are selfish and rude and I don't deny that but they also had their quirky moments.

(view spoiler)[ Do you think the Greek gods will make a show in the next book? I expected them to make one in this book but it didn't happen. Them being the ones to curse the sirens, I figure they should come into the story now (hide spoiler)]

I didn't like book 1, but found book 2 at least entertaining.... I'm sorry you aren't liking her books
I know, I haven't LOVED one of her series yet....

Greek gods (view spoiler)[ interesting idea. I never thought they'd appear but I guess that makes sense. These books always seems more shallow and centered on just the MC and their plight. I would be surprised if the author actually pulled a story together that involved the Greek gods (and didn't destroy it) so I'd be surprised if she did... lol but now I kind of want her too :) I just don't know fi she's a good enough author to pull it off (hide spoiler)]
