So, I picked up this book from my shelf on Saturday and was hooked after 3 pages..but then I was geting Cli-Fi vibes so iput it down to save for challenge. Do you think it will work????The Age of Miracles

That one looks like it *might,* but there’s also no real reference to climate change as the cause from what I can tell. It looks more like scientists have no idea why the changes are happening. I think in cli-fi there are more direct ties to the climate change aspects of why.

Erin (erinkharv) | 2 comments Amazon put out a collection of Cli-Fi short stories, called Warmer. They're available free online if you're a Prime member.

I'm definitely planning on reading at least There's No Place Like Home, if not all of them, to fulfill this prompt.

Kelli (ukyprincesskelli) Would “Dry” by Neil Shusterman count for this category?

Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) I read Watermelon Snow last year and thought it was great! A suspenseful, engaging, environmental thriller. It's free on Kindle unlimited, or $2.99 to buy the kindle book.
Watermelon Snow by William A. Liggett

Yes! I actually plan on reading Dry for mine!

Margie (Bookzombie) (bookzombie08) | 52 comments These are the three options I currently have down for this prompt.
Ship Breaker
Parable of the Sower
Oryx and Crake

I read The Water Knife a couple of years ago and it would probably work for this prompt.

Christina (christinaroseanne) | 1 comments I hear about a book on a book riot podcast and can’t find the title- it takes place on a Native American reservation, there is no electric... does this sound familiar to anyone?

Maybe Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse?

I’m reading this novel by Barbara Kingsolver for Cli-fi...
@gradcat

Jacquelyne | 7 comments I just ordered Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver also. I live in Middle Tennessee, and my daughter just studied The Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolver last semester, so it seemed a proper fit.

oh that's great! I hope you like it as much as I did!

I ended up reading Dry by Neal Shusterman
It was a very believable premise of a California community's water supply running dry! It's a YA book, so there's a lot of teen dialogue which I had a little trouble engaging with, but the pacing/action of the story was good.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) I'm really struggling with this prompt. I've picked up several books and started them but nothing that is really holding my interest. I have bailed on everything. I generally read these genres YA, historical fiction, general fiction, juvenile/ middlegrade fiction. Any other suggestions? Thank you for any help you can offer.
