SOLVED. Girl obsessed with true crime tries to solve a cold case. [s]

Looking for a the title of this YA book. It was described as being similar to Pretty Little Liars. Orginally thought it was written by the same author, but that's not the case.

It's about a girl who is obsessed with true crime. She meets people on a blog who are all interested in solving the murder of a girl from years earlier, and travel to the town where she grew up. There the main character meets the murdered girl's brother, and things start to get crazy.

Does anyone know what this is? It's been driving me crazy!

Cover is yellow (I think) with a girl drawn on it and her shadow cast across it.

Anna, how old is the girl and why is she interested in this particular case? Is this a series? Does she usually help the police?

Can you give us some background on the murder (e.g., who, how, in the heroine's hometown, does she travel far to get to the crime scene & how does she manage this)?

No, this isn't it. It was published more recently. Definitely within the past couple of years.
