i read this book in the summer, it was probably written within the last three years or so. the main character is a deaf girl who after getting hit by a car finds out that her mother isn't her real mother and that she actually kidnapped her from the hospital when she was a baby. her mother and her go on the run and meet this guy who her mom ends up injuring. i think they live in alaska or somewhere remote like that. when she finds her birth family she finds out she has a brother. that's about all that i can remember for sure
