I first read this book earlier this year (2018). It was a new-er book probably published sometime between 2014 and 2017. The plot is that the main character can see what a serial killer is doing in her dreams and it makes her go kind of crazy, then she finds out that she's adopted and after meeting her birth mother meets her brother who turns out to be the killer. he lives in Arizona and has a secret hideout in a mountain or rock formation. he lives with his girlfriend and daughter. she can't prove that he' the killer and he eventually tries to kill her boyfriend inside of his rock formation lair thing. her brother's name is Dylan.
