Wide Awake I want to read a book where the Hero got out of control and hurts the heroine (physically and emotionally) so that makes her leave him, then realizes H loves h, themes like that? IDK which book to discuss/compare (look for something similar) anymore so yeah I chose FSOG for the meantime. Thanks in advance! And as much as possible with S/M, and a deep story on how?why Hero is like that.

Dvcbunny Hi Patricia - I also like this scenario.

Sophie Oak's Away From Me by Sophie Oak has this theme with the h hurting the H emotionally.

Enjoy!!

Hopefully others will post.

Michelle °O° Consequences (Consequences, #1) by Aleatha Romig

Consequence Series.... hero abducts heroine and abuses her in the first book. Great thriller and story line with twists and turns in every chapter.

Terri (N.J.) Underestimated (Underestimated, #1) by Jettie Woodruff

This was also a good one. And totally agree with The consequences series.

I have already red Consequences before, it kinda bored me at first, but I understand that the author doesn't want to make readers horny but feel the story -- which I did anyway, I like Tony, he's a f*ckwit, and the age gap, smokin', it took me like 2-3 weeks to finish the book, it's too long (and the flow of the story is very difficult to follow), I thought it's a standalone because they got *spoiler* married and all, but to my surprise, there are two more books -_- but that's fine , I enjoyed it anyway. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Michelle °O° There is also Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #1) by C.J. Roberts Captive in the dark series.... but I haven't read this one yet.

Captive in the Dark is a good book, 4 out of 5 stars...

Wide Awake thanks for the suggestion but I don't think Mr. Beautiful is Cold :)

Jennifer I'll second the recommendations of Underestimated (Underestimated, #1) by Jettie Woodruff and Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #1) by C.J. Roberts . The Consequences (Consequences, #1) by Aleatha Romig series was my first pick, but I see you've read that series already.

Stacey Bully by Penelope Douglas, Dominic by L A Casey. After the Night by Linda Howard is awesome! The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders

Wide Awake Have red Bully and The Unwanted Wife, but thanks for the suggestions, I'll add Dominic and After the Night :)

Stacey Also Twist me by Anna Zaires and Reapers property if you like MC books which I totally dig! Your welcome and good luck!

Wide Awake Yeah. That's cool as long as it's not paranormal, HR, and older than me books.. What's MC? 0.o

I'm not a fan of too many MC books but Under Locke Under Locke was a good book and the the main character Locke was a redeeming A-hole :)
