Samantha | 1 comments So, I'm fairly certain the book was a military romance and I read it within the last four years. I don't think it was very old so it should have been published after 2010. I don't remember anything about the author or the book cover or names of characters, either, although I think it was an ebook and not a paperback.

The only parts I remember for certain are the following: the heroine is kidnapped or captured and is held within a stone cell or tower near an abbey and the heroine escapes by using some form of positive energy or power to convince guard dogs to help her and the people holding her to be a little nicer. I know when she escapes, she convinces one of the village or town people (maybe somewhere in South America?) to give her some supplies. I cannot remember for sure if this next part happens but I think she eventually gets back to America by flying a plane she stole in the middle of a hurricane or tropical storm and crash lands (one reason why I think this is a military romance).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can "bump" your thread every month or so. This pushes your thread back to the top of the folder instead of languishing here on page 41 where fewer eyes will see it.
Good luck!

Samantha, who kidnaps the heroine and why? Where did this happen? Who is she (job/skills/powers, age, rich, etc.)?

Can you tell us about her romance interest and how/where they meet?

Are there paranormal elements? Or does she use science/physics to use the energy/power source to get free?
