Hour Five: Books-to-Go

I always have an audiobook or my Kindle with me, but my favourite errand is my big weekly grocery shopping trip where I usually have about 2 hours to just listen to a great book.
Also, if an audiobook is good enough, I will start to do extra cleaning and tidying around the house, just to keep listening :D

For grocery shopping etc I bring head phones and an audio book :-)

I find that it's easiest to read ebooks, since you can have many on hand and the device is light weight. (I still bring a Paperback sometimes, though. I love reading Physical Books.)

For the readathon, I’ve got four short print books with me and everything that’s on my Kindle, and I’m at my second of four reading stops today already!

I don't have any errands today though. :)

Of course I have the kindle app on my phone as well, I can't bear to ever be without something to read. My paperwhite sometimes gets forlorn in my bed when I leave the house.

Funny, I just came back home from the laundromat ;-) Of course I had a book with me (on my Kindle). I often take books with me (digital or physical), when I know I have periods of waiting around inbetween errands or appointments. Since I also spent a lot of time on public transport, I usually take that as an opportunity to squeeze in some reading as well. Personally, I prefer reading to audiobooks, just because I like to hear what's going on around me and don't like to be "walled off" behind earphones in public spaces. (if that makes sense...)
Usually, I just bring whatever book I'm reading at the moment, no special on-the- go-book.

I make sure I bring my kindle everywhere I go though, just in case I get a few spare minutes here or there.
I usually bring the ebook with me. I have college practice in the morning and work in the afternoon... and a lot of time of waiting for the bus.

We’re about to go out for the 30 minutes of moving around the BINGO requires but it’s dark out so I can’t read and I don’t think an audiobook would stick in my brain if I’m focused on something else haha!

Like most of you, my readathon will be interspersed with errands. I wondered what types of errands or places do you make sure you bring along something to read? And is there a particular type of reading you find best for on-the-go?
I will be visiting the laundromat -- books required! so no one tries to talk to me. ;-)
