Welcome to the group William. It is difficult to select a single book. However Jerome Kern Jerome is a favourite. Anything marine is really interesting. Even mermaids?😉

William Foreignerski | 6 comments In life, everything depends on perspective. Assuming mermaids to be from mythology, I would have to be from mythology as well in order to get to eat one. Which could position me towards mermaid eating in any possible way. Hence this question is answerable only under certain (mythological) conditions.
I would restrain from scuba divers in wetsuits, though, largely due to the terrible taste that they marinade themselves in.

Thank-you, Catherine. That's very kind of you. As for the Scallop Linguine, happy to hear it's making the rounds. If you ever have the chance, you should give it a try. You shan't the disappointed.

Thanks, Grasshopper. Truly fortune finds me, that I might share a title as illustrious as this, with one who is arguably amongst the most talented of wordsmiths in the business.

Surely I do spin a yarn, and from time to time, enjoy the addition of a well placed rhyming scheme. It almost seems necessary in places, especially where a character is quoting the likes of Shelley and Keats. Truth be told, the series was built on a foundation of poetry.

Where you came
by a night sky
Beneath the scenery
playing,
out old memories
stolen away.
Of the every day
since a star
faded far away
from heart's
cabaret.
Hear her song settle still
out there
on the soft breeze
of the bay.

Winds of change
sweep in
off the ocean.
Whisper notions
of moments
you keep
long intertwined
to your mind.
And the
recollection
of the
many things
that you fear
you've left behind.
It's as though
you need
a let go
of the everything
you're feeling inside

To all members,
Okay, I'm not a new author. Although my books are "evergreen" (current in their plot and themes as the day I wrote them), I published my first book in 2006. Saralyn Richard invited me to join. I'm mostly a lurker, but the group looks interesting, and I'm always willing when time is available to help other authors. The more books you write, the more I have to choose from for my reading! ;-)
