Re title the books or delete

Marie Lu announced three new books and people have added them to GR as Legend #4,#5,#6 think they were all part of the series since she mentioned she was writing a new book in the Legend series . She since then said two of the books are a new series. Do I change #5&6 to reflect this new information or get a super librarian to delete and create new books

Given that people have already added #5 & #6 based on the current titles, I would add new books and get the current ones removed.
Otherwise people are likely to be confused about books on their shelves changing so dramatically.

I disagree. Deleting them will remove them from users' shelves. Having a pre-publication book record changed happens, and is preferable than having it simply disappear from user shelves.

However: I would strongly suggest using the change comment field to explain what you are doing and why.
