Lots of control and surveillance, clearly they are low on goods to go around. I have read two books recently that have similar ideas for pretending to be someone else. ( and ) But this is pretty different. I am going to guess that Halton knows, and there is going to be a romance between him and ONE of the girls. Either that or he knows and is going to use it to blackmail the girls. Or maybe he doesn't know and is going to try for a romance anyways. Clearly he is interested and his grandparents want them to marry. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad I didn't read the whole blurb because reading that without knowing what was going to happen was crazy and shocking. In a world with heavy surveillance they have to hide? Or is it just telling them to resist and not obey to survive? I want it to be a code to unlock how to read the notebook or something. 41 % page 105(view spoiler)[ I wish I had a twin, Or even a sister like that. My sister and I only got along as kids. There are twins in my family and they are so close that they talk like 7 times a day. I also love the fact that twin sisters wrote this book. It really gives it perspective on what it must be like to look the same, but still have differences.
This sucks, the person that they're looking for, Arlo Chapman, is clearly gone. What now? Onto the next safehouse? Good thing for Spanish class though! (hide spoiler)]

I don't have many formatting issues, are you reading it on kindle? I have a hard copy and a NG copy and I've been switching back and forth and haven't seen any big format issue.

I have a kobo. I think it's because it's a PDF copy so I have a lot of blank screen. Really annoys me. Also it sometimes magnifies when I don't want it to. :/

It's an important part of the book because now she is able to choose it, she is truly free of pretending to be Ava and now can be herself. It was a big area of grwoth for her character arc. I'm so glad she saved Ava and not the other way around bc she needed to come back and show how much Ava meant to her, but of her own accord. (hide spoiler)]
