I have a kobo. I think it's because it's a PDF copy so I have a lot of blank screen. Really annoys me. Also it sometimes magnifies when I don't want it to. :/
Am I the only one that read the first page and was reminded of Labyrinth?? Her nightmare of falling then hands grabbing her reminds me of the scene in there. LOL

Aw sorry Book. The way she described falling then hands grabbing her though I'm immediately picturing the scene where Sarah falls and the hands grab her and stop her fall and ask which way up or down.

I know that scene. Favorite movie. It's why I feel jipped :(

She does!
9% in. World is established clearly, and I get the impression neither twin - with their father’s support - is keen to maintain their existence. Easy to see how rights can so quickly be eroded. Think this will make me angry.
22% - I suppose it was inevitable that someone would have suspicions. How on earth can they continue now?
45% - father’s plann8ng suggests this moment was always expected. I’m surprised they’re where they are given the evident security in place.

In the near-future United States, a one-child policy is ruthlessly enforced. Everyone follows the Rule of One. But Ava Goodwin, daughter of the head of the Texas Family Planning Division, has a secret—one her mother died to keep and her father has helped to hide for her entire life.
She has an identical twin sister, Mira.
For eighteen years Ava and Mira have lived as one, trading places day after day, maintaining an interchangeable existence down to the most telling detail. But when their charade is exposed, their worst nightmare begins. Now they must leave behind the father they love and fight for their lives.
Branded as traitors, hunted as fugitives, and pushed to discover just how far they’ll go in order to stay alive, Ava and Mira rush headlong into a terrifying unknown.
