Wow everyone - I got the spreadsheet books placed (just in the working one so far) and we are midway through our TENTH readthrough. Pretty amazing since 12 hours ago we just finished our 7th :)

There is still time :) We need to have our books finished one hour before the start of week 5.
The countdown to start of week 5 is here:
https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...
So whatever you can finish up til an hour before that countdown goes off would be fantastic :)
Note: if you don't want to open the countdown, we basically have to have our books finished by 4 hours and 23 minutes from the time this message is posted :) Then the new week starts in 5 hours and 23 minutes.
Wow I just realized we only have 2 more wheel-a-thon weeks. It has gone by so very quickly! Also, I've entered all but the last word in there (saving it in case we need to flex/move any last minute books). Anyway, points-wise we will pass last week's total for sure. Well done!
Update
We read 50 books as a team this week which is our second highest yet!. But our page counts were the highest so far as we have an average of 31 points per book (last week was 27 and before that was 21). So this was our highest scoring week yet woohoo! Great work everyone!

Please don't finish anything in the next 50 minutes as we are going to have week 4 locked.
I'll post again once week 5 is ready to roll for REINDEER

Hi Lexi - Sorry, I didn't see you post anything in this thread.? We need a link to your posts to claim the points.

Lexi - I just checked your comments in the BOM thread. If you want to answer some of the part 3 questions posted by Ora then we can claim the participation points this week
Lexi wrote: "I thought I did all three. I'll go answer the third."
No probs. :)
Thanks for that.
The BOM participation isn't automatic, so you just need to shout it out here so we can grab the links to your comments to claim it :)

woohoo! Nice reindeer there Lexi :)
I'm going to read books that I know have an "I" as that is a tough one. I'm hoping the "E"s won't be too hard seeing how many of them we have lol

Pssst .... We went up to 7th spot!
That's a bit exciting - we have been sitting at 8th every week. So nice to move up a smidge :)

Started a 600 page book - Children of Time - but so far no letters work so I will save the last bit for next week if I do not find one that works.

Karen ⊰✿ wrote: "Done! What did you think Lauri? I quite enjoyed that series"I really enjoyed it! Gwyneth isn't nearly as silly as I first thought & she's much more steadfast than that Charlotte. I originally picked it up for the red cover, but now I think I'll read the series -- eventually! Glad you liked Sugar Plums.... I call the whole bunch 'brain candy!'
I picked up the series for the same reason. The colours are awesome for reading challenges! lol
Yes it is a bit... It is kind of like a "lighter" version of Charley Davidson. I do love her family, and Morelli is so cool and steadfast

If anyone is looking for a book to read the In death series by J D Robb has nearly all the letters (and all if Nadine Furst a secondary character appears in that particular book)

Does it still count if I post my answers to DQ for The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein? I've been reading it slowly and couldn't keep up with the set datesWould the points still count if I finished before the end of this month?
I'm having trouble finishing books again. Not starting them, I'm very good at that. :D One added to the spreadsheet for yestereday -
for RIND. I'm chipping away at the Reindeer in title book.

I think the points will still count if you finish and post question answers by the end of the challenge. You basically need to read it within a month of the buddy read.
Finished
Strangely I had already read it, but had nothing in Goodreads to show that! I had the kindle version and thought I'd sync it to audible, but then audible told me I had already bought it back in 2016 and read it already! lol As I was reading some parts were familiar. But I guess I've read a couple of hundred books since then so I didn't have a great grasp of what was going to happen next

Oh how funny. But you're right, when you read tons of books, it can be hard to remember them! I didn't realize there was a second book in that series, so I'm glad you mentioned it.
completion post Ambush
James Patterson
432 pages
Fits:
N - New York (setting of the book)
EDIT to add:

I've added 2 more letters that I found. Man, I love Amazon's Look Inside function!

There are actually 5 books out now! I really should get to the next one before I forget the story arc again ;)

Well done!
Yes, it confuses me sometimes too as settings are used for UNO, but not for wheelathon ;)
