End of RaT surveyHow would you assess your reading overall?
It went great for the time I had available.
Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it?
No strategy this time. Just reading for pleasure which was nice.
What was your favorite snack?
apple with peanut butter and popcorn
Wanna volunteer for our next event?
I might moderate an hour if the weekend falls on one I am available.
Your stats are impressive for not being able to participate the whole time, Vicki! Hope you get to float in your pool and continue reading on Sunday :)

Oof I don't think I could do that! But I did wake up at 6:30am so maybe I could. lol. 4am is not a pleasant time but it is quiet.
Good morning Vickie! Already meeting goals, I see. Well done! Wishing you continued success today.

Oof, yes that is early. That's why I don't like the reverse readathon very much, it starts at 2am and even though I plan to start later, like 6 or 7 am, I don't really sleep, like the readathon-adrenaline is already flowing lol

It's never a bad thing to get a normal amount of sleep! 😉 You still read from a lot of books! See you in April!
Just to catch up from previous conversations, I did find a novel by Stephen King I liked: Dolores Clairborne. She went kinda crazy didn't see. Better than the movie I have liked for many years.
Hope to see you back in April.

Just found out that the dates work for me to do the Spring Read a Thon!Yay! Very excited.
Update: Wah wah wah... Found out I need to do a modified thon this time. I have to take my mom to a dinner AND I had the opportunity for a spa day and hotel stay on Friday. Sooo... Let's modify!
SPRING 2023 RaT
Reading from San Diego.
Hi Vickie! I see you have listed a murder mystery by James Patterson. Usually I like cozy mysteries. This year for a classocs bingo card, I need a mystery or thriller published pre-2000. Any suggestions? I have asked Lynnette too, but I am better with a list to choose from. Can't do very thrilling, just some thrilling.
Cynda, Maybe Michael Connelly would be good for you..
His Harry Bosch series started in the 1990's
The first one is The Black Echo.
Or maybe Harlan Coben
He has a Myron Bolitar series and stand alones.
Both have published in the 90's.
Good luck!

UPDATE on my plan...Am doing a modified RaT this time.
I will be coming home from a spa day on Saturday morning, so planning to start for hour 1, then break while I drive home with my friend.
Then I have to take my mother to a dinner that night so leaving again around hour 12 and we will see when I get back.
Any reading time is good reading time, so just planning on taking it easy. Not about the numbers this time.
Excellent plans with friend, spa, mom, food. . . .I see your co-mod request which I think only Jaime can address as I tried to edit and could not. . . .I will check out your co-mod hour threads definitely.
