Part 1: I am loving this world building and introduction of the characters.  This is my 1st Leigh Bardugo book but she isn't letting me down thus far!! I of COURSE find Kaz swoonworthy...not sure if that will change but he is HAWT in my book so far! Lol

The flashbacks of what happened between Nina and Matthias....literally at one point I was like "Really Matthias?" and then when he told the gang what Nina did and asked her if she could go back would she make a different decision and she said "No I would do it again"...my jaw DROPPED! Oh Nina!

But hearing Wylan's truth about how his dad tried to kill him by hiring hitmen, made me see RED! And THEN we find out that he has had Wylan's mom in an asylum all these years. I'm speechless. When he bought her a ship...and then found her parents, without gloves on... my heart probably EXPLODED from happiness!! If the wraith can't see that he loves her and is trying, for her...then she doesn't deserve him!!

I need another book, with these characters like YESTERDAY!!!

In the meantime, i will begin the grisha trilogy, bc i am hooked on Leigh B.

HOW IS THIS BOOK SO DAMN GOOD!! I LOVE IT. HOW DOES LEIGH B DO IT!

I really am blown away by how I'm in love with every single character. This hardly ever happens for me.

I'm in Part 5.... so here are my comments from Part 3 & 4:
- I am becoming OBSESSED with Jesper and Wylen. Their back and forth is hilarious. (view spoiler)[And then it melted my heart how Jesper tried to console Wylen through the aslyum. He spoke up for Wylen when he couldn't, and let him cry with him afterwards. ALL THE HEARTS for this scene. (hide spoiler)]
- Nina continues to worry me. I guess I'm like Matthias haha... worried about Nina. But I don't know what to think. Her powers aren't working for her how they used to, and she's (view spoiler)[able to control objects now and not just tailoring. It's proved to be very useful twice already! I wonder if there are side-effects... and I'm also slightly concerned if we don't know she's still using parem? (hide spoiler)]
-Inej had some memories while on the high wire, and I've always been interested in her background. We got a lot of information. Heart-breaking information, of course. Since he past is very dark.
-Kaz continues to kick ass... but the end of Part 4 had me concerned. I feel like he's getting bested. He's going to come out on top, I'm sure of it... (view spoiler)[but Pekka seems to be everywhere.

Also 100% ready for some love action between Kaz and Inej here! C'MON! (hide spoiler)]

Lol great synopsis!! I was yearning for some love action too around that part! Isnt it crazy how there is barely any sexual scenes in her book and they STILL are amazing!! I cannot get enough of this series and the characters!!
