"Leslie! Go to your room!"
I wasn't about to even whisper that one!
What about Night Owl? did I miss that one too?
That one’s great, too! I read the first Night Owl but never read the 2nd because they pulled us in with a $.99 book with a cliffhanger and then wanted to charge $9.99 for the 2nd one.
That’s probably why there are over 1,100 Amazon reviews for the first one, and the 2nd one has only 178. I know they usually go down with each book, but that’s a huge drop. And the price has gone down to $7.99 now.
Speaking of Night Owl, was there ever a big reveal or uncovering of who the mysterious author is?That was a brilliant move on their part. It had everyone talking and guessing. I never even heard if it’s a man or a woman (I eventually guessed a woman from the way they worded some of their posts. But if I remember correctly, it seems like at first, a lot of us thought it might be a man??)
Jean wrote: "Grey, nope never heard from her! Do your thing! I trust you implicitly!"Jean! I'm SO SORRY I spaced on this pick for you!!!!!!!!
Nay, I never heard about author identity but was intrigued at the time. I never continued series either.
Donna...trust me, read Bad Things. Oh, and Night Owl...so good.
Stephanie, no biggie, it happens. *giggle* I just got to pick two books this month, LOL!
Leslie, I'm just sending everyone to their rooms tonight.
I have NO idea who the real author of Night Owl is...but they gave us our beloved Manny... so it works for me. I still have Manny today, btw...I used him heavily this past weekend.

...just peeking out of my room...Grey, can I come out yet?? If I promise to do my required reading for the group? Pretty please?!
Ahhhhhh Donna, you lucky lucky thing. That is one of my favourite books. Angst and more angst. Kills you actually and don’t think about the price just keep reading the next two. Will kill any slump. You won’t be on GR that’s for sure. See you in a couple of days. So jealous. You enjoy Bad things. 🤩
Melinda wrote: "Ahhhhhh Donna, you lucky lucky thing. That is one of my favourite books. Angst and more angst. Kills you actually and don’t think about the price just keep reading the next two. Will kill any slump..."I was gonna say that too, better have all three ready to go! 😁
I'm a little slow tonight, what the hell is ACOTAR??
I've never read twilight or seen the movies. *embarrassed grin* Look. I just don't like vampires. OK? Too much gooey blood n stuff.

Who ever wants a good book?Paula recommended this one to me and it’s really good.
When Forever Changes
Heaps of angst, really good writing. Good story, heaps of romance.
Might get over your book slump. Kindle unlimited.
What more can you ask for?
Did you know I work in sales?
Hahahah😝

Thank you Jan...I haven't read that either ...lol
I never read the 2nd book to Night Owl either. And I haven't read the 'c' book either but it's on my TBR! I'm usually in agreement with Ela so I'm a little scared. Starting Grey's PFM today!!!!
Well I've got a lot to catch up on here...yes I have not read the..."c" book...but it's on my tbr (shocking I know). I feel like I've read Night Owl but I don't have it marked...may have to skim it again to see if it's familiar...it's the problem with reading so much I forget what I have and haven't read...I'd better get busy...
Donna wrote: "94%.....😭"lol...glad you liked Tristan...just wait to see what happens next!!! keep us posted ;) I'd lend it to you if I could ...

A Court of Thorns and Roses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A PNR MUST READ, BUT DON'T ASK LISA BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T LIKE PNR BUT LOVED ACOTAR

hahaha...ya, I couldn't figure it -_- ... I have it on my list
Paula wrote: "Love it when the
comes up. I loved it and the others in the series!!"I am officially resigning as the Greatest Opponent of that book... I give the reins to Robin
Wow...you all have reviews all over the place on that "unspoken book" ... and Ela was very vocal with a few updates as to how much she still disliked it along the way :-) Now you know I'm going to have to read it and probably end up pissed off...but I'm just too curious...
Donna wrote: "Carnage is the number one best ugly Cry EVER! I loved it."It's okay Donna - I got your back!! It is second only to Rainfall!

ACOTAR and Bird and the Sword/Queen and the Cure....but I still stand by not liking PNR/Fantasy books as a general rule. I find I have to concentrate too hard to figure stuff out!!! But damnit if that Elabelle doesn't keep coming up with great ones that break my rule!!!
Lisa wrote: "Donna wrote: "Carnage is the number one best ugly Cry EVER! I loved it."It's okay Donna - I got your back!! It is second only to Rainfall!"
I'm on your side...sorry Ela :) lol ... oh hey, and don't forget Tony! I bought the box set and it's still sitting there waiting for me
Donna wrote: "Thanks ladies!! Step aside Robin....there’s a new sheriff in town 😏Rainfall 😍😍😍😍"
Ela's the sheriff! I just work the front desk.
