TF's been releasing books in that dystopian series. I really want to read the first one, Folsom Folsom (End of Men, #1) by Tarryn Fisher .

It's getting extremely mixed reviews, like either love or hate, and that's just catnip for me.

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments Grey, all I can say is Thank You!!! I absolutely adored Full Tilt (Full Tilt, #1) by Emma Scott and All In (Full Tilt, #2) by Emma Scott . I obviously had to read both of them once I started the duet. They were so good!! I’m going to bask in the afterglow now...Oh and obviously this is a 5+ Star read for me!

Donna B (donnajo11) I’m in a book funk ! Ugh!

message 82: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I feel your pain, Donna. Reading is a chore. Nothing appeals to me. When it's time to pick up a book, I find eleventy other things to do. And that's just not right because reading is my passion. But, you are in good company, because I have heard so many people say they are in a slump right now. All I have to say is this better get over soon, because Mama ain't happy about it!!!

message 83: by Donna (new)

Donna B (donnajo11) It’s the worst. I’ve been reading . I just can’t connect to anything. I blame it on reading 3 amazing books back to back. I may switch up genres and try reading The Fourth Monkey. I’ve heard great things and it is the season🎃 Do ant if you like psychological thrillers?

message 84: by Michele (new)

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments I have that one on my TBR too Donna - it sounds good!

message 85: by Donna (new)

This is me exactly, Lisa and Donna. After No Tomorrow, I had to make myself read the Ribbon duet and now I'm also finding eleventy other things to do. Like fiddle-farting around on my computer. It's so frustrating!!! I've noticed that I'm really restless right now--like I can't sit still. I was wondering last night if that had something to do with it. Maybe my age and the change of the season?? I'm sure there's some scientific study out there somewhere.

Donna--what were the 3 back-to-back books you loved?

And yes, I LOVE psych thrillers! I'll check that book out, but I AM going to finish ....hmmmm....let me look... I can't even remember the name of the blasted book I've been reading for 2 days! Oh yeah--Ember! And I do like it so far. The slow reading is totally ALL me.

That was me over the summer,I had a run of meh books... But lately I've read a bunch of really great books. I feel for you girls, I really do... I feel like we all are pretty cyclical, slumps and crests, you know? *hugs* all around and lots of *fairy good book glitter*

message 89: by Donna (new)

Donna B (donnajo11) No Tomorrow was what started it all. OMG , that book was amazing! Angst is my absolute fave and it left me with the best angsty hangover. ❤️❤️. I read Ten Below Zero which I loved and was angsty. Then read Sea of Tranquility. *sigh*.
Hence my dilemma . I’ve looked at books off and all day. Just haven’t had the desire to start one. Oh and I actually downloaded Outlander from the library just in case I want to go down the rabbit hole 😱.

message 90: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments I've been slump-ish for months. IT SUCKS!!!

message 94: by Donna (new)

Donna B (donnajo11) Yes I have read Look The Part.

I don’t think so Grey...is the book on KU?

message 95: by Michele (new)

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments Donna, the first book is Bad Things by R.K. Lilley and it’s free on amazon. The rest of the books in the series are $5.99 each. I haven’t read this series yet either...

message 96: by Donna (new)

Donna B (donnajo11) Thanks Michelle and Grey. I suppose I need to download it!

message 98: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I have the 3rd book, Lovely Trigger, available to loan if either of you need it.

You HAVE to read that series. Talk about angst! If you loved No Tomorrow (which I did as well), I think you'll love Tristan and Danika. I would read books like that all the time if I could find them.

message 99: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments *heaves even bigger dramatic sigh*

You get your romance reader card revoked until you have read Tristan & Danika. 😉
