Asylumm | 320 comments "You know your father won't buy that.. I said you can go ahead." she said, she knew Erin would throw it in her face. But at least he would be out. "I can handle whatever she throws at me." she said, she shook her head. She looked down at her hands and started playing with her fingers. "Don't get me wrong, I fucking hate the whole idea but, at least you will be out. And then you can just forget about her.. If you want." she said, she didn't want to make him feel like he had to if he found himself not wanting to. She sighed, she felt so stupid and weak getting emotional over this all over again.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate sighed and shrugged. "You never know. I can certainly plead with him." He fucking hatrd the idea of pleading with his father. But he would not admit to being Erin's baby daddy. There wasn't a chance in hell. He shook his head. "Baby, I don't care if you think you can handle that. I couldn't. If I saw Erin taunting you I'd ream her out and tear her apart. I can't handle it. I don't want to. I won't accept his deal. I'll do what he says about Silas because that's the right thing to do. And if I don't Silas will get the brunt of it. And from what I've seen from Henry James, the guy's a lunatic." He held out his hand to her. "Don't worry. I'll figure out a way." He said.

message 303: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments At that moment, she realized how stubborn he actually was. She knew she was slightly stubborn. What normal person isn't? Sam rolled her eyes with a smirk and a nodded. She still did give him her hand, not knowing a reason why not but, she just didn't. "Okay, I won't worry about it as much as I normally would. But you can't ask me not to worry." she said, with a little fake smile.

message 304: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate sighed when she didn't give him her hand. He pulled back his hand and laid it on his lap. Damnit he was losing her before he even really had her. "That's all I can ask for." He said. He glanced at the time. "You should get going, Sam. You don't want to be late for your job." He said softly. He hated that everything in his life somehow turned to shit. He didn't want to lose Sam. He wanted to move forward with what they had started. But first he needed to get out of prison first. Which meant he needed to talk to his father and plead with him for another chance.

message 305: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "Yeah, your right." she said as she stood up, she fixed her outfit and grabbed her things. She smiled at Trent and waved at him, then waved bye to Nate before she walked off. She walked out the prison and let out the breath she was holding in. She didn't even realize she was holding in in the first place. She texted her father about Silas as she walked to her car and got in. She sent the texted, she knew that might have to talk to her father in person and tell him in detail what was going on and why he needed to back off Silas. Sam glanced back in her backseats, she didn't remember bring any scrubs but there were two back there. One from her class yesterday and the other was neatly folded. She grabbed them and changed into them. She drove off heading to work.

message 306: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate watched her walk out. He couldn't help when his eyes traveled down south. He got hit in the head by Trent and groaned but he wasn't repentful at all. Sam had a nice ass and it was his. Hopefully. He sighed as he stood up. "I need to talk to my father. Would you mind calling him and seeing if hw wouldn't mind coming in for another visit today?" He asked Trent who simply nodded. "Thanks."

message 307: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam went to work but she didn't stay long, she started to felt sick. She even threw up a couple of times before her boss decided that it would be best if she went home. So she had been home since, on the couch not wanting to keep having to get out her bed and run into the bathroom. So Sam got the trashcan from the kitchen and brought it to the couch and she has been there almost all day. She didn't know that was wrong with her. But she felt like she was going to die. Maybe the fuel?..

message 308: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate had been brought to the room once again and there he waited for his father. When his father came into the room he could tell that Cain Rush was not in a good mood. "What do you want boy? I already came in today to help you work out that deal with James and you blew him off for some girl?" Nate sighed. "She comes in regulary, and we have a schedule. I like to keep to that schedule as much as possible. Luckily she was late as well." He told his father. Cain raised an eyebrow. "So, I take it you're not accepting the deal because of this girl? You won't accept Erin's baby as your own." Nate nodded. "I'm turning him down. But that's not why I called you in. I want to come work for you. In whatever position you deem fit. I have my own apartment still, hopefully. But please, recommend me for the early parol. I've got a girl out there who I want to do right by and, I'm going to." He said. He looked directly in his father's eyes. Cain Rush raised an eyebrow. "So you want to drastically change your life all for some girl?" Nate sighed and then nodded. "Yeah." Cain shook his head. "And you wouldn't care if I gave you the most shittiest job I have?" Nate nodded once more and Cain laughed. "I'll believe that when I see it." He said. "I'll think it over. Who is this girl of yours again? I'd like to talk with her first." Nate sighed. "Samantha Walker." Cain took a note and nodded. "Let me talk to her before I make any decisions."

message 309: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "I am fine, Katie.." she said. She had her phone on speaker, it was the second time she had called and checked on her. Katie was going try to get off work early to check on no matter how many times Sam told her she was going to be okay. Katie still said was going. It made Sam wonder was all the best people actually stubborn is fuck. "How is jewel?" Sam asked, Katie told her how worried the girl was of her new friend, Samsntha.

message 310: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate glanced at the time as he was walking back to his cell. It was late and he would've thought that Sam would have called him by now. He turned to Trent. "Did she call?" He asked. His hopes sank with that small shake of his head. "Well, perhaps I'll call her then?" Trent nodded and led him to the calling center. He dialed Samantha's number but got a busy tone. He frowned when it came to voicemail. "Uh, hey, it's Nate. Just calling to check in on you. Uh, call me whenever. I'll answer. I promise." He said and then hung up the phone.

message 311: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam frowned at a notification of a voice mail. Then it hit her Nate. "Fuck.." she said, which made Katie get super worried. "I am fine. I just have to call you later." She said, Katie agreed and Sam quickly hung up. She called Nate back, she was being real stuoid today, she first she was late to see Nate and now sge had completely forgotten about their night calls. She waited for Nate to answer nervously

message 312: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate began walking back to Trent when a phone rang and a guard answered it. "Phone call for Nathan Rush. Line 4." Nate walked over to phone 4 and answered. "Hey." He said with a breath of relief. She called him back. He knew that if she hadn't called back he wouldn't have been able to sleep. He needed to talk to her about a few things. He found it easier to talk about the harder things on the phone with her rather than face to face. He knew that wasn't a good thing by any means but for now it would have to do. He sighed. "Are you still at work?" He asked her.

message 313: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments She smiled when she heard his voice. She could tell that he wasn't mad but something was on his mind. She never knew someone so good that she was able to know so much with them giving so little information, all he had to do was talk and she knew the basics. If he was mad, sad, confused, etc. It was weird for her but she loved that she was so close to him. She sighed when he asked about her being at work. "No.." she answered trying not to sound like she had swallowed the back end of a horse. "I left early.. I was on the phone with Katie when you had called." she added.

message 314: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate nodded. "Oh. Are you are okay? Did you feek sick or something?" He asked. He couldn't imagine why she would leave her new job for any reason besides being sick. He was thrilled to hear her voice. He knew that he needed to talk with her about some thinga but first he wanted to make sure his girl was okay.

message 315: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments ".. Yeah, I been throwing up but, I am fine." she said with a shrug of her shoulders. "What's wrong with you?" she asked, not being able to not ask any longer. She needed to know what was with him.

message 316: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. "Throwing up? Ah, I'm sorry baby. That's awful. Was it something you ate or,? He asked. She hadn't seemed like when she left here but perhaps it was something that started after she left. He sighed. "Nothing. I just got finished with talking to my father. I asked him to come in again. He said he would think about asking for my early parol but he first wants to talk to you." He told her. He really wanted to talk about why she didn't hand him her hand when he asked her to. But that could be for later. He wanted to deal with his father's shit before anything else.

message 317: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "No I didn't eat this morning.. I was in a rush to come see you." she said, if she knew that their convection was going to end up like it did she probably won't have gone period. She loved spending time with Nate but, no when it felt like they were going backward with each other. After today she actually was starting to feel like maybe they were meant to be together. Maybe he was meant to be with Erin, or shit maybe some other girl that she didn't know of. But, not her.. It was obvious at least to her it was.

message 318: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. "Shit, Sam. You need to start eating breakfast, sweetheart. It's the most important meal of the day." He told her. "So, are you okay with talking to Cain for a little bit? I'm sure he's gonna ask you some questions but I'm not sure what." He said. "Sam, I want to ask you why you didn't give me your hand today. Was it because of Henry James' deal about Erin? I told you I wouldn't do it. I meant that. I'm not gonna do anything that could potentially hurt you. In any way."

message 319: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "Yeah, I will talk to your dad. I can handle him." she said with a shrug not thinking of it. She dealt with her own dad, who was a complete brick wall to talk to sometimes. Why wouldn't she be able to to do the same to Nate's father? She sighed when Nate brought what happen earlier. "No.. I mean, kinda but its bigger than that." she said, she started coughing. She sighed and laid back once it was over.

message 320: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. "Bigger than that? What do you mean?" He asked her. He felt hurt that she hadn't held his hand. But he didn't show it at the time. Or at least he hoped he hadn't. He cleared his throat. "Thanks for agreeing to talk to him. Also, don't let him give you any shit." He told her. He knew his father was an asshole. But he wasn't sure if he would be an asshole to her or not. He wanted to keep face with the entire world.

message 321: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "It's nothing.. Just forget it." she said softly she didn't want to stress him more than she knew he already was. He had alot to be thinking about, the last thing he needed to worry about was her and her stupid feelings. "I won't.. I trust me, I can handle him. Don't worry about it Nate." she said with a slight smile.

message 322: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. "No, Sam. Tell me. What's on your mind? And why didn't you allow me to hold you hand?" He asked her. He shook his head. Sure, he had other things to worry about but Nate wanted to place Sam above all things else. If she was going to be his girlfriend then she came first. Well, his mother came first but then Sam. He nodded. "I do trust you. I just don't trust him. And I'll still worry just silently." He mumbled the last part.

message 323: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "I heard that." she said with a slight giggle. She sighed and decided to sit up when she spoke her feelings. "I don't think... I.. don't think we should be together." she said, hearing herself say it, broke her own heart. "It's not that I don't want to." she quickly said. "I just think that it's obvious that we aren't meant to be, everything has been real shitty since we have been open about our feelings and it don't seem like the bullshit is letting up." she said as she bit her lip, trying to keep herself from crying.

message 324: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate shook his head. She heard everything. He smiled softly but that smile faded instantly when she spoke up again. She didn't think they should be together? What the fucking hell? If she didn't think they should be together then he should just stay in prison. He shook his head. What would that prove? He scoffed. "Sam, I told you I'm not worthy. I've got shit. Tons of bullshit around me. Erin, my father, Silas, Henry James. I asked you if you truly wanted this and you told me you did. But because of all this bullshit you want to stop before we even really begin anything?" His hand fisted around the phone. He could tell she was close to crying but he was pissed and hurt. "I'm trying to get out early for you. For us. Before you talk to my father you need to decide if you actually want to be with me. If not, then don't talk to my father because my getting out would have nothing to do with you then." He took a deep breath. "Think about it. I've got to go. Night." He said and then hung up. He walked away ignoring the frown on Trent's face. He had a lot more time to talk but he didn't feel like talking right then. He walked back to his cell and laid down on the bed.

message 325: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam frowned when he basically snapped at her. She was shocked when he hung up on her. She threw her phone to the other side of the couch. She knew what she had told me, and she meant. She felt like he was worth going through all his baggage for but, it wasn't like it was just affecting him. Her emotions were in it too. She wasn't use to dealing with other people shit and her own. She didn't think it would be this hard but it really was. She rolled her eyes, this is why she never got in relationship. Her tears finally started to fall and she couldn't stop them. Hunter walked into the house and frowned seeing his daughter home so early and crying. He sighed as he closed and locked the front door. He was about to sit down but, paused when he saw her phone. He picked it up and then flopped down. "You know I was about to sit on this.." he said as he leaned back, Sam glanced over and shrugged her shoulders before turning away. Hunter frowned before he spoke. "What if I broke it, you wouldn't be able to talk that boy of yours...." when she didn't respond, Hunter knew that whatever reason she was crying it had something to do with Nate.

message 326: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate hated that he had snapped at Sam. But he felt hurt. He had told her about his own shit. She moat likely knew thay Erin was going to be a bitch and added baggage. And yet she had given him hope that they could start something. He had fallen for her and here she was trying to walk away from him. He sighed. This was a the reason why he didn't date. It was hard work and he knew the reward was worth it. But could he even get that? Sam wanted out before he even made it out of prison. He scoffed. She didn't even try. Not truly.

message 327: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Once Hunter finally got what happened out of his daughter he felt bad for the both of them. For his daughter, because she honestly didn't know what she was getting herself into and for Nate a boy who was in prison trying to make a relationship which never works. He sighed and ran his hand down his face. Sam fall asleep on his shoulder, she was so innocent and Nate was introducing her into new things. Hunter hated this whole situation, he called Henry and Cain. He told them to meet him at the prison in the morning before he hung up. Nate was going to be apart of the conversation if he wanted to or not.

message 328: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was roused early in the morning. He groaned. "What the fuck? It's not even time for breakfast yet, dude." He said. He glanced up to see Silas scowling and rolled his eyes. "What the fuck do you want?" He asked. "You have visitors. Important ones." He said. Nate groaned. His father was most liekly one of them and perhaps the other was Henry James. He gor up and stretched. "Fine." He said following Silas to the rolm once again. He walked in and frowned when he saw Cain, Henry, and Hunter in the same room. "Oh fuck me. What the fuck is this?" He asked.

Cain raised an eyebrow at his son. "Sit the fuck down, boy." He snapped. Cain was not a morning person. Nate rolled his eyes and sat down with his arms across his chest. "I don't accept the offer, and no one is changing my damn mind." Henry rolled his eyes. "It's a simple thing to do, boy. Say you're the father," Nate slammed his hand down on the table. "I said no, you mother-fucker! Get that through your thick skull. I already asked Sam to ask Hunter here to retract his thing against your boy. Your son fucked with Erin and now she's pregnant. Deal with it." He growled. Henry glared and moved towards the young man.

message 329: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter sat quit he watched until Henry started walking over to Nate. He rolled his eyes and stood and grabbed the man by his shoulder and pushed him back to his sit. Hunter never did the whole yelling act, he was more of action type of guy. "Next time you think you're going to raise up against him in front of me, I swear I won't just push your ass down. You will be kissing my fist." Hunter said. He sat down and crossed his arms. "Sam told me about the whole deal.. And I thought it over." he said, he thought about actually backing off Silas but seeing how the boy's father acted in front of him. He realized that he won't be able to do so. "And you can think yourself for it but he honestly I don't think I will be laying off your son.." he said as he glanced over at Henry. He glanced over at Nate. "I talked to the judge and told him, you should be let out early.. And you can call this good luck or whatever but I and he go back a few years. Saved his wife and daughter. So he owes me." Hunter added with a shrug. Even though he dislikes the boy for making his daughter cry, even though she hurt him she tells told him to help the boy. Which meant she really felt like he was worth her plus his time. And that was enough for him.

message 330: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Henry glared at Hunter but he sat back with a grumble. Hunter was a lot taller and much stronger than him. Nate watched this with a frown and looked at Hunter as he spoke. "What? You're," he shook his head not understanding why Hunter would do this. Did Sam actually make her decision? Or was this all Hunter's doing? He cleared his throat. "Thank you, Sir." He said. Cain watched hiw Hunter was with Henry and smirked. The man needed to be put in his place. "This is fine and all. But I'm not understanding why I'm here. It doesn't appear that you really needed me." He said standing up. "Congratulations, boy. You got out early." He said nodding to Nate. Nate barely looked at his father as he held up a hand to him. "Yeah. Thanks, Cain." He said. Henry was still fuming at what Hunter had said. "Do not go after my son. This will ruin my reputation. If you don't stop your accusations of my son then I will go after you. Do you know who I am?" He asked.

message 331: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter frowned at Cain. "Actually you are here so I can put your ass in your place as well." he said to Cain. "This is your son if you like it or not, children are not born to make your life easy dumb fuck. They suppose to give you hell. With a father like you no wonder the boy is in and out of prison. Your make like a bitch then father." he said with a huff and a smirk crawled onto his lips when he heard Henry speak. "Yes, I know who you are." he said with a shrug. "And honestly that's your problem, everyone knows who you are but.. didn't they tell you in your shiny lawyer college that the ones you nothing about is the ones you should be really afraid of." he said. No one really know Hunter, the most they knew were that he worked in S.W.A.T and her had a family. He had connections to a whole lot of people and not all of them were on the good side of the law. But that's what happens when you save people, they and their families, and friend feel like they owe you. "I guess not.. Well, I am going to give you a warning... I am last person you would want to threat." he said with a wink.

message 332: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. "Hey. This was a one time stint, thank you very much." He mumbled. He wasn't planning on going back to jail in the future at all. He cleared his throat and frowned when he glanced at the time. It didn't seem that they had been in here for a long time but breakfast was almost over and he hadn't had food. He's probably get something later on. Besides, he didn't feel too hungry.

Cain Rush stopped and frowned. "I never expected parenthood to be easy, Mr. Walker. Now I'm not going to explain myself or how I've raised my son. You have a good day." He said and then walked out of the room shaking his head.

Nate ran a hand over the back of his head. "It's not his fault." He said softly. He glanced over at Henry who just stood up and stormed out. "I don't give a fuck who you are!" He said. He pushed his son out of the way. Nate shook his head. "Silas had a worse father than I did, Sir. Thank you for talking to the judge on my behalf." He said genuinely. "Is Sam feeling better today? Has she eaten anything and been able to keep it down?" He asked the older man.

message 333: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter which all the men leave. He shrugged at the way they acted. He stayed leaned back with his arms crossed. He was thinking about getting up and leaving himself. But Nate brought up Sam. Which made him have to stay seated. "The way I heard you talked to her, I am surprised that you still care." he said before he spoke again. "She hasn't eaten she doesn't want to eat. She been in her room since I carried her up there last night... After she cried herself to sleep might I add." he said with a raised eyebrow.

message 334: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate hung his head. He hadn't thought about Hunter hearing him when he snapped at Sam the night before. He shook his head. "I care a lot about her, Sir. It's just," he sighed. "This is no excuse for me to talk that to her. But she was saying things that hurt me and I hadn't wanted to feel that pain again. I just," he groaned. "I'm very sorry." He told him. He hated knowing that he had been the reason why Sam had cried herself to sleep. "Mr. Walker, I understand that I'm not the sort of man you want for your daughter. And I think that she perhaps was right on the phone ladt night. Perhaps her and I just wasn't meant to be or some shit like that. There's a lot of bullshit surrounding me. And unfortunately she's getting caught up in it.

message 335: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter sighed as he listened to the boy. He waited until he was done. "Yes, your right when I pictured my daughter with someone. It wasn't with someone like you... But from what I have seen from my daughter, you make her happier than I have ever seen her in a long time." Hunter said as he glanced down at his feet for a second before he looked back up at the boy. "You have to understand, my daughter is new at this whole "ride or die" thing. The only boy she been with obviously fucked her up without me knowing." he said his balled up tightly for a couple of minutes before he sighed. He had arrested Owen what seemed like a few days ago. Hunter made it so that Sam wouldn't have to come to trial. Hunter sighed and shook his head. "So before you go thinking she is running out on her, think of it has you the pro.. You have dated before more times than her. Even if you personally don't count them.. She hasn't. She is the newbie with all these emotions your ass got her feeling." the old man said

message 336: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate frowned. He hadn't dated many people. He'd had flings and benefits with people but he could count how many people he'd dated on one hand. He nodded. "Oh." He said simply. He hadn't thought about that. He had known that Sam had never had a true date. She had told him that herself. He sighed. She'd only been with that asshole Owen. The fucking abuser. He nodded again. "I understand, Sir. How would you suggest that I go about fixing this mess?" He asked him. He wondered when he'd be let out. He glanced at the time again and realized he hadn't had his pill. Shit. He cleared his throat. He needed to have his pill at the same time every day and he had missed it today. He bit his lip.

message 337: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter raised his eyebrow at the boy, he was about to speak but the way the boy looked seemed like something was wrong. "Is something wrong?" he asked, Sam hadn't told him about Nate's past. Since she didn't think it was right for her to. She thought of herself has his dairy whatever he told her, she would never told anyone. Until he tells her to. So Hunter was lost at the whole situation. He raised his eyebrow and asked again. "Is something wrong, kid?"

message 338: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate shool his head. "No, Sir." He said with a tight smile. He knew that by missing the pill he'd have to go to the doctor later today and get an IV drip. He hated having needles inside him but knew that if he didn't have it he would most likely get sick again. These pills he was taking were helping his body keep his illness from regenerating and becoming active again. When he took them htey released a toxin inside him to help aide the process. But if he missed a pill it could potentially screw up the entire system. He knew this because he had missed a few pills when he started high school again and was out for an entire week because of that.

message 339: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter sighed and nodded, he looked at the time. "I better get home.. To make sure she is okay." he said as he stood up and started walking toward the door. He glanced back at Nate. He wasn't such a bad kid. "And by the way, I might have a job for you when you get out." he said before walking out the room, Sam only told him to take of the boy and he felt like she meant with all the problems he was having. But if the boy fucked up Hunter, he couldn't promise that he would be so nice and calm.

message 340: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate stood up unsteadily. He used the table to hell him and smiled tightly at Hunter. "Really? Thank you, Sir. That would help me quite a bit." He said. He watched Hunter Walker walk out of the room and then sank into the seat. "Fuck." He needed to go to the doctor now. It was about noon now and his body was used to getting the toxin or whatever hours ago. His body needed it to function properly. He called out to the guards. He groaned as he felt himself being helped up onto his feet. He walked with the help of Trent and another guard to the doctor and was immediately laid down on a gurney. He felt the needle being inserted into his arm and groaned again. He hated that feeling since it reminded him of all the treatments he had before.

Asylumm | 320 comments When Hunter got back home Sam was on the couch looking at TV. He could tell she had been crying, he sighed and sat beside her. "So what you do?" she asked as she glanced over at her. The bruise was almost gone but he could well see it and the fact that she was crying to all the color out of her skin. "Do you feel better?" he asked her ignoring her question at least for the time being. Hunter and Sam talked for a moment. She was feeling a little better than she did before but not at her best yet. Hunter told her what at the prison, which made her smile knowing that Nate was going to be okay. No matter if she wasn't in his life once he got out, she was happy to know that he would be free soon.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate had eventually passed out from the IV. He was in the doctors office for hours and Trent was worried. He sighed as he glanced through the window. Trent pulled out his phone and called Cain Rush. He didn't want Nate to be alone and figured his parents would want to know. "Hello, Mr. Rush Uh, I just wanted to let you know that Nate Rush is currently in the prison hospital right now. Uh, apparently he wasn't able to take his pill today." Cain Rush frowned. "Why the fuck didn't he take his pill?" He shook his head. "Have you told his girl or that guy Hunter?" He asked. He scoffed. "Better call them." Cain said and then hung up. Trent scoffed as he looked at the phone. He called Hunter Walker. "Mr. Walker, uh, I just wanted to inform you and your daughter that Nathan Rush is currently in the prison hospital."

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter was in the kitchen when he got the call. He frown at the grauds voice. He didn't understand why Nate was in the prison hospital. "Alright.. We will be there soon." He said. He walked out the kitchen and walked slowly into the living room. "Honey, we have to go." He said, Sam glanced up at her father and frowned. "For what?" She asked, she thought he was going to say to one of his stupid job meetings but he instead said. "Nate is in the hospital... Well the prison hospital." With that Sam got up and put on her shoes quickly and left out the door. "You can stay here." She said, her father sighed and followed to her car. He jumped into his and Sam jumped into hers. She drove passed the speed limit to get to the prison fast. She got out her car and went inside, she was confused not knowing what happened. She thought maybe it was that stupid gang he had trusted ao much, or maybe Silas punk ass. She didn't know where to go, she was getting annoyed.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Trent nodded and put his phone back in his pocket when they hung up. He cleared his throat. He wanted to make sure to get to the front when Hunter and Sam got here. But at the same time he didn't want to leave Nate alone. He sighed and left to the front desk. He saw Sam and waved to her. "Sam, over here. I'll take you to him." He said. He walked over to her and saw her father. "Hunter. Follow me. He's still passed out but I'm glad you two came. Uh, Sam you know about Nate's illness, did you know about the pills he'd been taking every day?" He asked her. He cleared his throat. "He missed one today and over the next couple of hours he seemed to get sick real fast. The doctors won't tell me anything since I'm not family. And I'm not even sure they'll tell you two as well." He said. He pointed to the door that led into the hospital. "He's in there."

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam listened and the more Trent talked the more she got nervous. She didn't want the last thing she ever said to him was she didn't believe they was meant to be. It could be. She had other feelings that she wanted to tell him, happier ones. Sam followed Trent to the door and frowned. She sighed and glanced at her father. "Dad you have ma's ring?" She asked. She thought of plan that could work. He noddex and smirked understanding her whole plan. That boy really changed his daughter, Hunter went into his wallet and grabbed his wifes ring. He sighed when he saw it for the first time in a while. He handed it to Sam and she put it on her left ring finger perfectly. Like it was her own. "Trent can you lie for me.. Please, I.. I need to see him." She said, her tears started to fall she knew she hurt him by saying thoses things. Hunter frowned and finally had to ask. "Whats wrong with him?" Samn glanced back at her father and shrugged her shoulders. He was going to have to put two and two together or just be in the dark on this one.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Trent frowned not understanding what the plan she had was. But then he saw the ring and nodded. "Yeah. Sure. Uh, if y'all are engaged his father-in-law can come into the room as well." He said. He walked into the room and explained that Nate's fiancee and his soon to be father-in-law was here to see him. The doctor nodded and allowed them to come in. Trent walked out and held open the door for them. "Go on ahead you two. The doctor will answer any questions you have. Sam, you might want to fill your father in on Nate's condition." He told her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam nodded, smiled at Trent. He really was a nice guy.. When was the last time she ever thanked him for all he has done? She couldn't remeber. Hunter cleared his throat bring Sam back to the main situation. Which was Nate she walked inside and at the moment she didnt have any questions, she sighed and started crying seeing him laying on the hospital bed. She hadnt so close to him before it was a homey feeling but at the same time it was weird. She ran her hand through his hair. It felt the way she dreamed it would. She whipped a tear away. "... I... Is.. Is he going to make it." She said as she glanced up to the machine that he was connected to, she sighed and shook her head. She needed to focus to read it. Hunter put his hand on his daughter shoulder, she quickly moved away from her father's touch. He didnt over react. He understood, what she was going through.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Trent followed behind them into the hospital room. The doctor looked up at Sam and sighed. "He's doing okay. Vitals seem good, his heart was racing a little while ago but I have a feeling it was because of the needle in his arm. He seems to have a fear of needles or something. I saw in his file he used to have a cancer and I've been giving him his daily pills but I was told he wasn't able to take his pill today which I didn't understand why that would make him react the way he did until I called his doctor. Apparently the pill he takes helps prevent his illness from coming back and taking over. But you probably knew that as his fiancee." He said. He ran a hand over his head and looked down to the board he had in his hands. "What worries me is that he hasn't woken up yet. It has been a few hours and I feel like he should have woken up by now. Perhaps having you here will help rouse him." The doctor said.

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter glanced between the doctor and Sam. It was because of the meeting but didnt he or his father say anything... he thought to himself. Hunter saw that Sam had stopped listening to the doctor. She probably didnt even hear any of it. But she hear the important stuff he was going to be okay, and meds that makes this from not happening and from Nate being in the hospital bed. She would remember that he suppose to have it everyday at the same time. Sam took his hand and smile that he still had his bandaides on his finger. "Boy, you could have been taking these off." She said out loud, like if he wasn't laid up in a hospital bed. "Eww.." Escaped her lips as she took them off they were dirty and hanging on by a thread. When she took the last one off she softly kissed his hand. Hunter pulled her out a chair. "Here." He whispered, Sam glanced back before she sat down. She ran her hand through his hair again. She but her lip and leaned into his ear. "Come on you gotta wake up.. We havent been to the beach, or on our date." She whispered into his ear before kissing his cheek.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Cain Rush had told Blair his wife, and Nate's mother what had happened and she rushed over to the prison. She demanded to be let in to see her son no matter what her husbands ban said. She finally made her way in. She saw Nate on the bed and began to sob. She saw someone beside him and recognized Samantha. "Oh good. You're here with him. How is he?" She asked Samantha as she rushed over to them and placed a hand on her son's face.

Nate moaned softly and moved his head slightly. He heard voices but couldn't place them. He also couldn't get his eyes to open. He felt the needle in his skin and wrinkled his nose.
