Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter frowned slightly at the boy's words before he left. Hunter now wondered what Samantha told the boy. He sighed as he shook his head not bothering to worry about it. He could tell the boy was going to keep his word. So now Hunter had nothing to worry about anymore. He left the prison and headed to his job he would talk to Samantha about the boy when he got home.

Two hours later, Sam was back home. She glanced at the clock that hung on the kitchen wall. Sam smiled as she noticed the time. Nate should be calling me soon. she honestly had been waiting for the time all day. She grabbed her turkey sandwich that she made and went up to her room. She locked her door once again knowing her father would be coming home soon. She sat on the bed with her phone in her lap, she had her laptop on the side of her, as she waited for Nare to call she watched Attack on Titans and ate her sandwich.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments That was the first night that when Trent came to get him for his phone call he declined and walked back to his cell. He had heard the surprise evident in their voices. But he couldn't call her. He had told her dad. No, he had promised her dad he wouldn't ruin her life. He wouldn't call her. He wouldn't see her. But it hurt him too. His first real friend in a long time was now gone. He sighed as he stared up at the ceiling. Hearing an invisible clock tick as the minutes went by.

As the days went on he still didn't call Sam. And when she eventually came to visit him, Trent came by to retrieve him. "Who is it?" He asked Trent. "It's Samantha Walker." Nate shook his head. "I can't. Sorry." He then went back doing whatever the hell he was doing. Trent sighed and walked back to Sam. "Sorry, sweetie." He said with a shrug. "He's not coming." He told her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam sat waiting for Nate, she wanted to ask why he had stopped calling her. She heard feet coming and couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face but it quickly faded when the guard came back out. His words felt like a stab in the back. Why she wanted to ask. What did she do?.. But she sighed and nodded, she got up and left. She didn't know why it hurt so much not to be able to talk to him. She bit her lip and sighed. To good to be true she thought to herself as she got into her car and drove off. Her father had been doing doubles so the house was quiet, she didn't have anything to do. She glanced down at her phone as she saw it was ringing. But it wasn't Nate, she sighed as she picked it up anyway. Ruth sounded upset on the phone. He asked for Sam to come over to his place, she shrugged as she answered. "Be over in a minute." not thinking none of this was going to be connected somehow. It was only until she got there and saw Erin she sitting on Ruth's couch with a sour look on her face. "What is all this about?" Sam asked with a frown. Ruth glanced at her up and down but it was a different look than he usually would give her. "So you been fucking Nate this whole time, huh?" he asked. Sam was confused about where the question even came from. "No.. why?" she asked, Erin made a rude sound. Sam glanced over at her and rolled her eyes. "Okay, look I am not in the mood for this whole drama bull.. I am not sleeping with any of you dudes. Unlike some of the chicks that open their legs to anything that is willing to fuck them. " Sam said, she hadn't talked to Nate in a few days which made her emotional and she hated it. Plus it was getting closer and closer to the date of her mother's funeral and these assholes knew that it had gone through the town of what happen and here they are making her life worse. Erin smirked and shook her head. "I honestly don't see what any of these guys see in you. You think your special but your not." She said as she stood up, Sam sighed and noticed that it was going to lead into something she didn't want a part of. "You know what.. Fuck you" she pointed to Erin and then glanced over at Ruth. "And you.. don't bother calling me anymore. Just lose my number." she said as she opened the door and walked out. Samantha wasn't surprised about how Erin acted, Sam knew that girl didn't like her but Ruth. He is just so stupid. she thought to herself, the more she thought about it the more she realized that his actions didn't surprise her either. She went home and sat on the couch for the first time in what it seemed like forever. She turned on the TV and sighed as she tried her best to relax not thinking that her father was coming home.

Hunter walked in and saw Samantha on the couch. He smiled at the sight of her. "Hey, honey." he said, she of course said nothing. But she was out of her room that was a good think at least thoughts what he thought. He ran his hand through his hair as he sat down on the couch. "Can you turn that off for a moment.. I been meaning to talk to you about something." he said, Sam sighed and nodded as she grabbed the remote and turned off. She glanced over at him. "What is it?" she asked. "I know about you and that boy.. Nathan." he said, those words ringed in her ear and then a frown appeared she popped on to her feet. It made sense. "Its your fault." she said. Hunter frowned at what she was saying. "Your the reason he haven't been talking to me." she said. Hunter sighed before he spoke. "It wasn't good for you.. He was using you, he is in prioson honey.. There no good men in prioson." he stated. Sam shook her head as she begun to get emotional she tried to not sound like she was bout to cry but, it wasn't helping. "We were only friends idiot! That's all he wanted was to just be my friend!!" she yelled. Hunter knew she was going to be a little bit upset but never thought it she was going to about to cry over this train rack. "I cant believe you one good person in this world comes around and you have to fuck it up because he is in prioson only for nine months... wow what awesome dad you are." she said grabbing her phone and keys. She left out the house not being able to look at him anymore. She got in her car and drove off, she had no idea were she was going.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan had no visitor's after a while. He would see Trent occasionally and he could see the pity in the guards eyes. He hated it. He had told the gang what had happened. And none of them understood why he was keeping his distance from Sam. He just shrugged and told them that he was the sort of guy who broke promises. Especially when it was to a man who just wanted the best for his little girl. The same girl that he wanted the best for as well. So he was keeping his distance. He didn't want to ruin her life.

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter started to worry about Samantha, she hadn't come home for days. He called her until he lost count of how many times. Hunter hated the thought of her being hurt but, he hated the thought of going back to the prison but he needed to speak to Nathan once again. "I am here for Nathan again." he said as he spoke to the same guard from before. He sighed as he was lead back to the same room he was in before. He sat down as the door was closed behind him. He wasn't uniform, he actually hadn't been to work since Sama stormed out the house. How could he? His daughter was gone and he needed to find her, before something happened to her. And he hated to admit it but this boy might know his daughter a little better than he did.

Once Nathan walked in, Hunter stood up and sighed. "Sam.. is missing." he said, it was the first time he ever called her Sam. It felt weird as it slipped off his tongue. "We got in a fight about you and she hasn't been home since.. It has been days.. I am starting to get worried," he said, he just lost his wife. He would be done with life if he lost his daughter too.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments A week had past or so since he stopped talking with Sam. He never had any other vistors or phone calls. His mother hadn't visited since thag very first time. He sighed as he was at breakfast that morning. The days seemed to drag on and on. They also seemed to blend together. He still took his medicine without anyone noticing. He was grateful that the guys didn't care if he was apart of the conversation or not. He was just there. He had been in a couple of fights since then. He was a lit more angier now. He had actually begun to wish Sam had never come and visit him. He knew how it felt to be happy or whatever. But now it was empty. Trent walked up and set a hand on Nate's shoulder. "You have a visitor, Rush." Nate didn't even look up. "You know I'm not seeing her." He said taking another bite of his food. Trent shook his head. "It's not the girl, boy. Just come with me. Now." He commanded. Nate groaned and stood up. He followed and when he was led back to the same room he had been in with Sam's father he stopped for a second before Trent opened the door and pushed Nate in. Nate stared at Mr. Walker. He wanted to snap at the man but when he opened his mouth to do so Mr. Walker told him Sam was missing. He frowned.

Nate sat down in the seat and looked up at Mr. Walker. "And you just let her go?" He shook his head. Where would Sam go? He ran through their conversations trying to think where she would go.

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter frowned at the boy's words. "My daughter wouldn't have left in the first place if she hadn't meet a piece- Hunter sighed and shook his head. He wasn't going to make him, get out of character. He sat down and ran his hand through his hair. "I just came to see did she come and tell you where she was going.." he said.

Meanwhile, Sam was on sitting on the beach, the same beach that the group had been to once. She had been staying a the hotel what was down the street. She actually never planned on going home. She saw no point being home with her father alone was not something she enjoined. But, she was willing to stay for her mother but, he went behind her back and took something that was special away from her. How could she look him in the eye and see anything but a fuck up.

message 108: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan glared at the older man. "I might know where is." He said with a shrug. He thought about their conversation and he thought maybe he'd check the beach for her first. But he wasn't even sure if that's where she would go. "And for your information, she did come by but I didn't see her. I respected your wishes." He told him. He shook his head. "Check the beach. King's beach." He said and then stood up and walked out of the door. He needed to get out of the room or he was going to start punching the dude and he was not going to be an idiot who punched a S.W.A.T member. He headed for the gym in the prison and walked right over to a punching bag. He didn't wrap his hands or anything he just proceeded to punch the shit out of the bag.

message 109: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam was walking back to the hotel, she had an oversized black hoodie on. She through the hoodie over her head, even though it was hot is hell. She had to knowing her father was probably looking for her. But once she was on the sidewalk she heard a car pull up behind her. She sighed and kept walking. "Samantha?!" Hunter called out, Sam rolled her eyes at the voice of her old ma. She kept walking but, he once he caught up he pulled her arm. She turned around from how hard he pulled her, plus her hoodie had fall off. Hunter smiled once he was face to face with her. He didn't say anything he just hugged her. Sam pushed him off her and frowned. "Don't touch me." Sam said as she was about to walk off when he pulled her arm again, this time to hard. "Ouch! Your hurting me!!" she yelled, he let go her and sighed. "I am sorry, I just need you to come home." he said, Sam rolled her eyes. She couldn't and started to explain why. Nate was her only friend, she needed him. She finally admits to needing him, her father didn't know what to say at first but he then agreed to let her see and speak to him again. He glanced at his watch. "Come on, we can still make it if we hurry." he said, even though he still felt like he was bad for his daughter. If they were just friends, he would allow it. He drove Sam to the prison. He walked her in and told the prisoner to let her see Nate. "Let him know.. he has my permission," he said as he walked out. Nathan helped him find Sam after all, he couldn't be so bad right? Sam walked into the visitor's room like always she took of her hoodie, it was to hot. (view spoiler) Her outfit wasn't her normal look but she didn't feel like her normal self after her mother passed so she didn't care,

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments A little while later and Trent came and got Nathan again. "Who is it now?" He asked him tiredly. His hands hurt from the punching bag. He didn't let up until his hands were bruised and bleeding slightly. The sting of the pain helped him. Trent looked down to his hands and shook his head. "She's not gonna like seeing those. Your girl is here," before Nathan could say anything Trent held up his hand. "Shut up and listen first you fucking idiot. Her father said you have his permission. Now go talk to her before I fucking punch your lights out. She's a good girl. She needs you and you most definitely need her you sorry asshole." Nathan raised an eyebrow and then laughed. "Wow, I didn't know you could speak that many sentences in one breath, Trent. Good on you." He smiled and nodded. He followed the older man into the visiting center and sat down across from Sam. Trent shook his head. "Just give her a damn hug. If you don't I'm gonna whoop your ass till it's black and blue. Even I can see she needs a hug from you." Nathan again raised an eyebrow at Trent. Who knew the guy was paying so much attention to him and Sam's relationship. He stood up and hugged Sam tightly. "Good to see you again." He said. "I'm sorry." He added.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam was glad to see Nate she was shocked when the guard spoke but she was glad he did. She smiled lightly when she felt Nate's arms wrap around her. She hugged him back not wanting to let go. She sat back down when she made herself pull away. "It's fine..." she said softly she was glad to see him. She frowned when she noticed his hands. "What the hell happened?" she asked, it was clear that something happened. "Did you get in a fight?" she asked not waiting for him to answer her first question. She grabbed his hand lightly not wanting them to hurt worse. Good thing she had her purse. She put it on the table and opened it. She glanced throw it and started pulling out things for his cuts. Her purse was like her personal first-aid.

message 112: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate smiled as he hugged her. He smothered the smile when she pulled away from him. He sat down again and when she asked what the hell happened he was going to reply with the story about how her father came to see him and so on. But then she grabbed his hands. He sighed and shook his head. "Nah, just got angry and decided it was a good idea to take my rage on a punching bag with no gloves or wrappings." He told her. He watched her and looked up at Trent who just smirked. "You should also tell her about the fights you've been getting to with the other prisoners." He said so that Sam would hear. Nate narrowed his eyes at Trent. "Shut it." He said. He groaned. So much for Trent helping him. It seemed that Trent was on Sam's side not his. Nate looked back at Sam. "How the hell does all that shit fit in that bag?" He asked her shaking his head.

message 113: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments He wasn't fighting that's good. Sam stopped going through her bag when the guard spoke. She glanced at him and smiled but then looked at Nate. "Why are you fighting.. You know they will never let you out of here if you keep giving them reasons to keep you." She said, she sighed and shook her head as she looked down at his hands and shrugged at his question. She was upset with him, he was acting like these other people. "You know your better than these idiots in here.. Your better than this place altogether." she said not looking up at him, she started cleaning his wounds.

message 114: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan sighed. He winced slightly as she began cleaning up his wounds. He glared at Trent. Asshole. Got me in trouble with her. "I was angry." Was all the reason he gave her. "And if I was vetter than these idiots in here than I wouldn't be in here in the first place." He mumbled. He was still a bit pissed off. But he was glad that Sam was with him. He felt eyes on him and glanced around. He noticed that no one else was in the room besides them and Trent and now Silas. "Time to go. Visiting hours are over." Silas said glaring at Nathan. He looked at Sam and shook his head and theb saw their hands. "No touching!" He roared and pushed Nathan's hand back so they were no longer touching. Nathan stood up and grabbed Silas. He pulled him close. "I told you what would happen if you fucking touched me again." He growled out. He then punched Silas directly in the face and Trent grabbed Nate's hand and kept him back. "Rush! You idiot." He looked down at Silas and then around the center. He glanced at the cameras. "Dan, Frank! Erase the last ten minutes will ya. I didn't see anything happen." Trent looked down to Silas. "Just because you're daddy's a big shot doesn't mean you are. There's no evidence that Nate here punched you. I didn't see it, Samantha here didn't see it and the footage was misplaced somehow. Get out of here. These two have more time to visit." He said gravbing Silas and helping him out the door.

message 115: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "That's not all.." she said, she knew him more now and could tell when he was hiding something. "Why were you mad?" she asked not thinking he it had been hard for him not to see him, just like it was hard for her. She actually thought he was fine the whole time, it was her that was an emotional rack. It happened so fast Sam couldn't get in a word in. She watched Trent took Silas out. She sat there all surprised but then the sentence Nate said ringing in her ears. I told you what would happen if you fucking touch me again. He had touched him before? She glanced over at Nate. "He is the guy that punched you.. right?" she asked,

message 116: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate watched Trent take Silas out and then he looked down to Sam. He sighed as he shook his hand out. "Yeah. That's him." He said finally. He sat back down and gave her both his hands. "I was mad because I couldn't see you." He told her. He figured this girl knew him better than anyone did nowadays. "I... I didn't have anyone to talk to. Well, anyone that could make me smile or laugh. I was a mess." He told her with a slight shrug. He groaned. "But I wasn't going to go against your father's wishes. I realized that he loved you and wanted only the best for you. I'm... Well, he was worried I was going to ruin your life. I mean, I'm a huge fuck up, Sam. Look at where I am!"

message 117: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments She was shocked when he started speaking. She stopped doing his hands and just stared at him as he spoke. She was lost for words. He really felt like that, she didn't care that he shouted at her. She was just a mute for a couple of minutes. She sighed and shook her head, she reached over and placed her hand on his cheek, and gave a bright smile. "Just because your here doesn't make you a fuck up. Everyone makes mistakes.. Don't let what my stupid dad said fuck with your head." She said. "I am not stupid you think i would still be coming around if i felt you were a fuck up.. I was a fucking mess without you honestly." She added, she rubbed his cheek with her thumb lightly before going back to his hands. "My dad thought he knew what was best for me.. But he was completely wrong." She said as she finished cleaning them for the second time. He was in prison after all and she knew no one else was going to clean them if they were to get infected.

message 118: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate glanced at her when she didn't say anything. He sighed and looked down. There was his anger going and fucking everything up. Yet again. He was going to push her away, ig he didn't already. When he felt a hand on his cheek he looked up in surprise. He scoffed. Being in prison did make you a fuck up. But he didn't argue with her. He nodded. He did have to afree that if she didn't thi k he was good enough to be around then she wouldn't be. Though, that did raise the question as to why she had been around Ruth. He shook his head. He was actually jealous of the motherfucker because he was out and he could hang out with Sam freely. And not go through all this bullshit behind bars. He nodded. "I know. Your dad came to see me. He said you had gone missing and you weren't at home for days. I sort of figured that you would just move on and forget about me. Which is why I was angry. I wouldn't be able to forget you, because... Becuase I feel like I need you. You're like the only light in my life, Sam." He told her softly. He looked down to his hands. "You didn't have to clean them." He told her.

message 119: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Did he just say that?.. she thought to herself she was happy to hear he needed her, just like she needed him. She smiled and giggled lightly to herself. "I can't forget about you, mister know it all.. i need you too." She said, she frowned lightly and glanced up at him. "Now what type of gi- a friend would i be if i didn't clean them? Do you want to have fucked up fingers when you get out." She said, she ignored the word that almost slipped out. She never she liked Nate that way to even think of herself like that. Erin was obviously coming to visit him and evrything, so he had her. Even if she wasn't coming back around, when he got out she sure they were going to fall back into whatever they were before Nate got arrested. Sam put some cream on the wounds and then she got out some bandaids. She had cute flower ones and regular ones. "You hurt yourself again. I will make you walk back there with these on." She said, as she waved the girly bandaid box a little before she picked up the regular ones and put them on him.

message 120: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan laughed. "Ah, good to see you remembered my true title." He said with a grin. "Well I'm glad that you feel the same way." He said. He bit his lip and smiled. He hadn't noticed her slip up. He had been too focused on what was going on in his own head. He was thibking bavk to when he had last thought of a girl as just his friend. It was Karen. But he had never felt that he needed Karen in the same way he felt about Sam. He shook his head as he felt her place bandaids on his wounds. He looked down and laughed. "Alright. I won't hurt myself again. Or at least not whete you can see. I do not want those anywhere near my body." He said with a smirk. "So.... You went to the beach huh? I wasn't sure if you were going there or not. But I figured that would be the first place I'd look."

message 121: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "Yeah, I didn't even know I was going until I got there." She said as she shrugged her shoulders. She put all her things back into the bag and closed it up. She leaned on the table and laid her head into her hand and glanced at Nate. "It's beautiful out there, honestly I found myself walking there every morning.. And honestly, if my dad really knew me he would have checked my school if I wasn't at the beach I was at classes." Sam said. It was sad to think her own father had to go to Nate to see where she was. "You shouldn't had told him, just say that you didn't know." She added.

message 122: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate nodded. "Remember. When I get out you and me are going swimming in the ocean. Maybe I'll even teach you to surf or paddle board." He told her with a grin. He was missing the ocean. And the feel of the waves rushing over him. He sighed and shook his head. "If I didn't tell your father where I suspected you might be, I would have more than just bruised and bloodied knuckles. Your dad is one scary dude, Sam." He leaned forward. "You know he called you Sam. Not Samantha like he did when he first came." He cleared his throst. "You know, I think Erin was behind the announcement about you coming to see me. She came to see me one day and when I realized you might come I was worried and mumbled your name and she just seemed to blow up. She hasn't visited me since. And that one visit? She just wanted to make sure her name was not going to be outed. I should though." He growled the last part.

message 123: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "But your not because of your not a complete asshole." she said, when she brought up Erin. "But yeah, i know she came.. She actually told Ruth and the idiot just lost it. Like haven't been telling him this whole time that i didn't like him." she said as she rolled her eyes. "They assumed we have been fucking around behind their backs.. She wanted to fight over.. At least what it seemed like and i wasn't about to go through all that stupid bull with her." Sam added, she ignored what he said about her father not caring what he called her. She was still upset with him, so he could go back to calling her Samantha for all she cared.

message 124: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate shrugged. "I'm not a complete asshole when I want to be." He said. He frowned. "Really? She came after you through Ruth?" He shook his head. "God, she really is a bitch." He scoffed. "I hope you at least pushed or slapped her. She told me she didn't care about you and me." He told her. He scoffed. "She's already fucking someone else so what does she even get out of this?" He sighed. "I'm sorry you had to deal with this, Sam. I wish I could help you deal with all her bullshit. I'll..." He looked away. What could he do from inside here? He sighed. His father. He would need to suck up his pride and call him.

message 125: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam shook her head. "I didn't.." she had to admit but, it wasn't that she was scared of Erin or anything. It was just that she never saw the point in fighting. If Sam had fought her, Erin damn ass was going to still think whatever she wanted to. So it was no point as long as Erin didn't put her hands on her. Sam wouldn't hit her either, basic math. Sam shrugged as she noticed Nate was in his thoughts. "It's fine. Ruth and Erin can both kiss my ass." she said. She was done Ruth and she knew she had said and thought that alot of times but, she was really done with him this time. He showed what type of person he was that night.

I gave you as much time alone as I could. It's time." Trent said. He looked at Sam. "He'll call you don't worry." Nate chuckled and nodded. "I'll call if you want me to tonight." He told her. He bit his lip. "Sam, you should talk to your father. He was just trying to do what he thought was best for you. He loves you. And honestly, I get why he did what he did. I'm in jail and you're out there and..." He sighed and shrugged. "Anyways, just think about it. He's your dad after all. And he needs you right now, just as much as you need him." He set a hand on her shoulder and squeezed lightly before standing up and nodding to Trent. "Thanks, man."

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter walked in at the same time, he stood there and listened to what Nate was telling Samantha. He actually couldn't believe what he was hearing from this prison rat. He sighed and glanced over at the guard that came in. He raised an eyebrow at phone call was offered. He didn't like the idea but didn't say anything. If Sam was happy when he was happy. Sam had listened to Nate but she still didn't think she was going to talk to her father still. "Come on, Samantha." Hunter said Sam glared back at her father. She wondered if he was there the whole time. Sam nodded to him and glanced back at Nate. "Okay, no more getting hurt I mean it." she said as she got up, she waved at Nate before she left with her father.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate could tell that Sam wasn't going to plan on talking with her father. He sighed and then laughed. "Yeah, I know. Or else I get sent back with princess bandaids." He waved back at her and then nudged Trent. "What the heck dude? Sell me out much?" Trent shrugged. "Hey, I've sort of got invested in this budding relationship between you and this girl. Though just so you know I am completely team Sam. And if you hurt that girl in anyway. You're going to not only have to answer to her father but to me too." Nate shook his head abd then grinned. "You're alright, Trent. And good." He walked away. "I'm gonna need that phone calk sooner than normal. I've got to talk to someone." He sighed.

Asylumm | 320 comments Once Sam and Hunter made it home. Hunter sat on the couch and asked for Sam to sit with him. They talked for what seemed like forever, Sam started crying even though she hated anyone seeing her cry. But she couldn't help it at all. But at the end the two felt better, they were both going through a lot and just like it was new for Sam not to have her mother around. It was new for Hunter not to have his wife around too. And that is what they both needed to understand. Once they both did, they hugged and went in the kitchen and cooked some dinner together. Sam kept her phone in her pocket, just in case Nate did call her.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan took a deep breath before calling his father. He hoped that his father would listen to him and not just hang up the phone. He leaned his head against the wall as he listened to phone ring. "Nathan?" His father, Cain asked. Nathan cleared his throat. "Yeah. It's me, Dad." He heard a sigh and knew that his father was running a hand down his face. "What do you want, Nathan?" He asked. "We are not bailing you out and that is final." Nate shook his head. "I'm not asking you to." He said with a slight growl. "Listen, a friend of mine is having to deal with some shit right now and I want it dealt with. I don't care how you feel about me but this girl, I really care about and I don't want to hear about some other girl or guy whoever hurting her." He stopped and waited for his father's reply. "This the girl that visits you and that you call?" He asked. Nathan was taken back. "What?" Cain shook his head. "I get updates on you, boy. You're talking about Samantha Walker right? Fine. What's the issue that needs to be dealt with?" Nate told him and Cain said that he would handle it and then hung up. Nate was shocked that his father was keeping tabs on him. He shook his head to clear his mind. Nate turned back to the phone and dialed Sam's number.

Asylumm | 320 comments Hunter and Sam ate but he was called out to his job soon after. He didn't want to see how the two was finally on slightly good terms but he didn't have a choice in the matter. Sam waved at her father has he drove off. She was alone at the house again, she didn't mind it seeing how she was basically on her own for a whole week. She ran upstairs after she was done washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. She ran herself some bath water, she thought she had enough time to relax in the bath before Nate would call but she was wrong. She bit her lip slightly as her phone rung, she was already in the tube but she reached to the sink for her phone in way. She answered the phone and connected to his call. "Hey, asshole." she teased with a slight smile across her face, she leaned back in the tube.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan laughed as she answered the phone. "Asshole? What happened to my rightful title of Mr Know It All?" He asked with a grin. He heard water splashing on the phone and frowned. He bit his lip and smirked. "Sam? Are ypu by any chance in the bathtub while talking to me?" He asked in that voice he knew she thought was sillly. He wondered why she thought that voice was silly. He cleared his throat as he thought of her in the bathtub. He shook his head. Nope, just friends. And nothing more. She deserved someone a whole lot better than him. "So, did you talk to your dad?" He asked her. He really hoped she did.

Asylumm | 320 comments "Hey.. I thought i had enough time.." she said as her face turned red. What he excepted her to do? Miss his call.. Hell no, she couldn't even if she wanted to. She sighed when he asked about her father. "Yea, he heard you tell me to talk to him sooo.. I didn't have a choice in that matter." she said with a shrug. "But we are okay now, he out at work right now though." she added, not sure why she told him all that not like he needed to know that. She played with her hair.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan chuckled. "Good. I'm glad you talked to him, Sam." He frowned when she said he was at work. "Oh. I would ve thought he would stay and talk to you for a while. I was just calling to say hi and tell you that the Erin and Ruth problem has been taken care of. They won't bother you again. I promise." He told her. He ran a hand over his head. "So..." He said. "Oh, want to know what Trent told me after you left? You know he threatened me right?" He asked her with a smirk.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam frowned, she wanted to know what he had done. She opened her mouth to speak but he spoke about Trent, she smiled. He was nice, she liked him. From what she could see he treated Nate with care and respect. "What you do for his sweet ass to threaten you?" she asked, she didn't forget what he said about Ruth and Erin, she decided not to bring it up right now. But Nate was going to answer his question before she hung up the phone tonight.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan's mouth dropped open. "Sweet ass? What the fuck, Sam? Don't go looking at the guys ass. He's old enough to be your father." He shook his head and laughed. "He was saying that he was invested in our relationship and that he wanted to make sure I knew that he was team Sam all the way. And that if I ever hurt you I'd be reporting to not only your father but him as well. It was actually endearing but scared the hell out of me." He said with a smirk. He glanced over at Trent who was smirking and then showed Nate his ass. Nate laughed. "Goddamnit, Sam. Now, he knows you like his ass."

message 137: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "He wouldn't have known if you didn't repeat it." Sam said with a giggle. "Besides i can think he is cute without wanting to be with the guy." she added, Trent was cute and all but she knew that she would never date a guy his age. She frowned when she played back Nate's words. "Wow.... Relationship?... What he thinks is going on?" she said slightly confused. "Why everyone swears something is going on between us?" she asked, she grunted at herself when her hair got a little wet.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate nodded. "True. But I was shocked. Can you blame me?" He asked with a smirk and chuckle. "Good. I'm glad you don't want to be with him in that way." He said it loud enough so Trent would hear and Trent rolled his eyes. He smirked at the guy. "Honestly, I probably would have been jealous." He said softly. He realized what he had said and his eyes went wide. Shit. He shrugged. "Yeah, well I mean, we do have a relationship, Sam. It's a friend relationship, but it is a relationship none the less." He told her. He heard her grunt and smiled. "That was a adorable." He said.

message 139: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "No, it wasn't." she said with a pout she put her hair in a messy bun, hoping not to get it any wetter. "Hold on.. Why would you have been jealous if i did?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. It made her blush slightly even though she knew that he didn't mean it in the way it sounded. Sam stayed in the tub a little bit longer to make sure she was clean, she cleaned her face before she got out. She put her phone between her shoulder and her ear for a moment as she dried herself off. Once she was done she walked into her bedroom with her towel wrapped around her small figure. She grabbed some night clothes and placed her phone on the bed. She made sure she put Nate on speaker so she could still hear him.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate chuckled and nodded. "Oh, yes it was." He said with a grin. He mentally cursed at himself for saying it out loud. He shrugged. "Uh... I don't know. Because if you started seeing someone you'd be spending more time with them and you'd probably wouldn't come see me as much ad you used to. And these nightly calls would be something I'd miss." He said. It wasn't exactly a lie. But it wasn't the full truth either. Not that he'd ever tell her. The truth was that he had begun to think of Sam in a different way. Not just as a friend but maybe something a little bit more. Maybe he wanted something he hadn't had in a long time with her. An actual relationship. Where he's the boyfriend and she's, well, the girlfriend.

Asylumm | 320 comments "Awww. Sweet but that's not all." She said, she knew him. She didn't under why he actually thought he could hide anything from her. "You can't hide anything from me at this point.. So you mind well spill the whole truth." she said with a giggle as she shouted to the phone, she just finished putting on her Pj pants. She quickly put her top on and grabbed her brush off her nightstand she started brushing her hair, she hated herself for getting her hair wet but knew it was because she was to busy on the phone to really pay attention to her hair. Once her hair was finally brushed completely she took Nate off speaker and put her phone back to her ear. She put her brush back on the nightstand and scooted back into her back, her back was against the headboard as she listened to Nate.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate sighed and groaned. "Impossible woman. That's the truth. And that's all that you're getting out of me for tonight." He told her with a shake of his head. He was amazed that she knew him so well at this point. Even with the week or so long absence. He smiled as he listened to her. "Did you just get into your pajamas?" He asked. He had heard some rustling and when she yelled at him he figured he was on speaker phone. He smirked. "So I've been speaking to you naked all this time." He said with a laugh. "Ain't that an image."

message 143: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments "Fine. I guess i can accept that 'so-called' truth." She said, she rolled her eyes at him not telling her what he was hiding was annoying she smirked and shook her head. "Hushh!!" she said, her face turned completely red. "You other men are by you. You don't gotta let them know everything that i am doing, gosh." she said with giggle, she couldn't help but play with the ends of her hair at that point. The thought of the men knowing she was just naked made her completely embarrassed.

message 144: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan laughed as he looked around at the other men on the phone. "Please. The other guys don't care about what I'm saying. Well, besides Trent and the other guards in here anyways. I can only imagine what their thinking about. This gorgeous blond all naked as she's talking on the phone to a prisoner. Gosh, really hot stuff, Sam." He said teasing her. He chuckled. "I bet you're playing the ends of your hair cause I got you all embarrassed or nervous." He said. "Am I right?" He asked.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam rolled her eyes at his words, he really was something else. "Noo you didn't." she pouted and rolled her eyes. She loved and hated that he knew her so well. "I am just laying her not playing with my hair.. Thank you very much." Sam said as she took her hand off her hair and put it to her lap. I have to learn how to stop doing that she thought to herself as she looked at her hand.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments "Bullshit." Nathan said with a laugh. "You totally were. And now you have stopped." He said smirking. "You may know me but darling, it's a two way street. I know you just as well." He said. He glanced over at Trent who pointed at his watch. He sighed. "I got to get going. Trent's pointing at his watch letting me know it's time for me to end the call. I'm glad you're back home, Sam. And I'm also glad that we can continue our," he smirked as he said this, "relationship."

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam rolled her eyes in annoyance as Nate said he had to go. She didn't want him to, she actually wanted him to stay on the phone with her all night. She bit her lip and nodded. But the total opposite came out of her mouth. "No I don't want you to go," she said with a pout but then she quickly turned red. She was now embarrassed, "I mean.. okay." she said as she ran her free hand through her hair. "I will talk to you later Nate." she said softly, her sadness could be heard from her voice. But she was never going to admit to her being sad.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan's eyes went wide. She didn't want him to go? Hmshe quickly modified her response but it was too late, he had heard her. She didn't want him to get off the phone. And when she said talk to you later he could hear the sadness in her voice. He didn't want to go. He didn't want to hang up the phone. But he knew he had to. Trent had done a lot for them by allowing them to see each other and even hug each other that afternoon. He ran a hand over his head. "I talk to you later, Sam." He said softly. "Sweet dreams." He said and then he hung up. He walked over to Trent. "Shut it." He said and Trent laughed. "You do realize the tomorrow when she comes in I'm going to be flaunting my sweet ass in front of her." Nate laughed and nudged the older man. "You're old enough to be her dad." Trent shrugged. "Some women like older men. We're more experienced in the sack." Nate shook his head. "You ass." Trent wagged his finger. "Sweet ass. Remember the sweet, Nathan."

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam didn't even speak she just nodded and hung up the phone. She hated the fix that he was in prison and she was out here. She shook her head not wanting to think about it too much, she never felt this way before about anyone. She didn't want to seem like this is what she wanted all along because it wasn't it actually came out her heart thinking that it would be easier for Nate to deal with prison with a familiar face coming around. To remind him, of how great of a person he was. But it turned back around her, now she was the one who needed him. She sighed and laid down, her hair was all over the pillow. Not leaving an inch of the pillow to be seen. She stared at the ceiling and she wanted these nine months to slip right on by, or for him to get out earlier than that. She smiled at the thought of him being around her without having guards around, or even the group. She wondered would it be the way she felt it would be. Or would he change her once he got out? She sighed softly and shrugged her shoulders. Only time will tell she thought to herself. Soon she was sleeping, it wasn't a surprise that she ended up dreaming about Nate.

message 150: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments The next few days went by without a hitch. Sam came by to see him and he would call her each and every night to talk. They would talk about everything and nothing. He had even told her a little bit about his childhood and his cancer. He even told her about Karen and explained why he didn't tell her about what happened to him in the past. But one day another guard came to get Nathan cause he had a early vistor. Visiting hours had ended so he figured it would be Hunter, Sam's dad. He was led back to the same room but this time when he walked in he saw his own father sitting at the table. Cain Rush didn't look up when his son entered the room. Rather, he pointed to the chair across from him. "Sit, boy." He said. Nathan narrowed his eyes at the man as he walked over to the chair and sat down. "What are you doing here?" He asked with the disdain evident in his voice. Cain finally looked up at his son. "I figured I'd update you on the situation you wanted me to handle. If not I will gladly leave." The older man got up to leave and Nathan held a hand up. "Stop. What's going on?" Cain sat back down again with a brief nod. "That Ruth boy has been dealt with. However, there's some new boy in town who seems to be chasing after that girl," Nathan glared. "Her name is Sam." He growled and Cain rolled his eyes. "Right, Sam. Whatever. Anyways this new guy is going after her. As for your ex. Well, she's causing some trouble. She's just told me and your mother she's pregnant with your child and she expects to be compensated for it, whether she keeps the damn thing or gets an abortion." Nathan froze. "What?" Erin was pregnant? He scoffed. "She's a slut. She's been fucking everyone else including me. That baby could be anybody's." He said with another scoff. Erin was balming him for her pregnancy? Yeah, because of her father's job and position. He shook his head. Shit, did Sam hear about this?
