Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Sure. Start us off when? When they are on the tracks? Or when he's in prison and then we can explain what happened in flashbacks?

Asylumm | 320 comments Explaining it in flashbacks well be fine.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan, or Nate Rush stood up in front of the judge, staring the woman in the eye. He had known that this was coming. He had two infractions on his record already. He had been warned that if he got a third he would go to jail. The police officers had offered him a deal that would get him off the hook but he didn't take it. There was no way he was selling out his friends, though he doubted that they would do the same. He scoffed. He'd been in prison for about two weeks now waiting for his hearing with the judge and none of his friends had come to see him. Nate didn't want to glance behind him at the empty court room. He knew that his parents weren't going to be there and his friends wouldn't either. But he glanced back and when he saw the familiar blond hair he frowned. Was that? Holy shit, it was Sam. Sam, or Samantha Walker who was a year younger than him had come into his group of friends sometime back ago. He didn't really know her all that well but they hung out in a group at times. He wondered why she was here. Perhaps, it was just to make sure he didn't rat her out. He shook his head. "Mr. Rush!" he turned back around to look at the judge once more. "Yes, ma'am?" he asked. "I asked you how do you plead?" the woman asked him. Nate glanced back at Sam once more before looking the judge straight in the eye. "Guilty." He said. He didn't hear much after that. He heard a gavel bang and then he was being grabbed by the guards and taken to the prison. He was sentenced to jail for nine months.

Asylumm | 320 comments Two weeks have passed, and Samantha hadn't gone to see Nate yet. She stopped talking to the group all together, it wasn't because of them almost getting arrest. Since she always knew the things they did was risky. She felt bad for not going to him but, didn't know what to say to him exactly. Thanks for not ratting all of our asses out. , that sounded just fucked up even if she said it in a sweet voice. Samantha just didn't think she was the person he would want to see, shit she only knew him for a couple of weeks. The most it was, was a month. Samantha's mother asked for her to get some things from the corner store. So while she was there she decided to get some snacks for herself, she never thought she would dump into Nate's parents. She only saw them two or three times when she used to walk passed there house to go to school. "Hi, Mr and Mrs. Rush." said with a wave. The returned the wave. "It's nice to see you. again." Mr. Rush said, Sam nodded with agreement. She wanted to ask how Nathan was doing. Since they were his parents, they would know right. At least that's what she thought. She glanced down at the floor for a second before looking back up at the two of them. "I heard what happen... you know to Nate and I was wondering how was he doing?" she asked, his parents looked at each other and then back at the blonde nineteen with a straight unemotional face. "We don't know, we don't talk to that boy anymore." Mr.Rush said, leaving Sam shocked. Mrs Rush shrugged her shoulders before she added onto her husbands words. "Well, he has court today.. That's all we really know. But it was nice seeing you again but, we have to go." she said, she touched her husbands shoulder. And they both started walking away. Samantha stood there for a moment. Court today? she thought to her-self and by the looks of it, his own parents weren't going to be there for them. Samantha shook her head as she grabbed her purse out of the crat she had been pushing and left everything else. She would get the stuff her mother asked of her later.

Samantha went to the only court house in the town. She walked into the court house nervous, she had never been inside any court house. Her father was a member S.W.A.T, he was every protective of her. So the must she ever did was with the small group of friends. Samantha asked a guard to point her the way to the trail for Nate and he was happy to help. She walked in quietly, her eyes locked onto the back of Nathan's head. She glanced from the judge to him. Her heart dropped when Nate was sentenced to nine months, even though she didn't know him that well she felt bad for him.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate had been escorted to the prison where he was going to be stay for nine months. He was handed his outfit and a back. He was then was shown a locker room where he could change and put his clothes that he was wearing then in the bag. He did this quickly. He hoped that with good behavior he could get time off of his sentence but with his luck he'd most likely get even more time. He handed the bag with his personal effects to the jailer. He was then shown his cell. He looked around the prison and noticed that many of the men looked at him like he was a piece of meat. He rolled his eyes. He knew what occurred in prison. His older cousin, Jace, had been to prison once or twice and had told Nate what happened. Nate wasn't the biggest man but he could definitely hold his own. Nate had always been a hard worker he was also a bit of an adrenaline junkie. He liked feeling the rush that he got from running, from working out, and from just doing stupid shit.
Nate laughed at something Brandon had said. He shook his head. "You got to be shitting me. She did not do that, dude." He laughed again as Brandon demonstrated. He pushed Brandon. "Cut that shit out, dude." He looked up and grinned as he saw more of their group coming towards them. "Welcome to the party, assholes!" he called to them with a wink. A flash of blond hair caught his eye and he noticed that Samantha was once again with their group. He wondered slightly when that had become a thing. But then he was being jumped on by Erin, his on again off again hook up. He laughed again. "So what trouble we doing tonight?" he asked the group with a smirk. He needed a rush right now. And he knew that the rush he and Erin would get from doing something dangerous and stupid would get them turned on. He looked up at Erin and put his arms on her legs. Damn, she had good legs. He then looked down and noticed someone else's legs. Damn, Samantha, or was it Sam? Oh who gave a fuck? She had nice fucking legs. How old was she again?
Nate shook his head at the memory. Samantha, Sam had been at the court. Why was she there? He ran a hand over his short hair and decided to leave it be. It's not like she or any of the others in their group would visit him in here. He looked at his cell number and then walked out into the main area. He was instantly surrounded by men. He smirked and chuckled. "Damn, well, this is a great welcoming, boys." He said with a wink. He was pushed by the main guy who was apparently the leader. "Shut up, asshole." Nate shrugged. "Sorry, man. I just can't seem to shut up. It just might be my character flaw." He dodged the punch that he saw from a mile away. "Want to try again?" he asked the guy who was now pissed off from embarrassment. The guy again moved toward him and Nate ducked under him and delivered the guy a hard blow to the side. He was then grabbed and he fought back but couldn't fight them all. He groaned as he felt the punches to his abdomen. He was discarded to the floor. He immediately stood up and wiped off the blood on his face. "That's it?" he asked. The man held up his hand as he laughed. "Man, you're alright." Nate narrowed his eyes not believing this wasn't a trick. "Don't worry man. You passed the test. Name's Z." He said holding out his hand. Nate eyed the hand warily but then took it in a shake. "Nate." He said simply. Z smirked and nodded. "Good to meet ya, man." Nate shrugged. "Sure." He eyed the other men and shook his head as he turned and walked away from the group. "See you around, Nate!" Z called after him.
Nate didn't get much sleep that first night he was in prison. He could hear everything that went on in the prison cells. He heard the weak men being raped by the stronger. He hoped that by his show that day he would be looked over. He knew that he was good looking and when he wanted to be, he could be very charming. But he was no one's bitch.
The next day he was approached by a guard. "Rush, you got a visitor." Nate raised an eyebrow. Who the heck would visit him? He stood up and followed the guard to the visiting area. He walked by men who were visiting with their wives, children, lovers, friends, and parents. He didn't have a wife or children. His on again, off again lover, Erin, would probably never come to visit him in here. She was probably already fucking someone else by now. He didn't give a damn though. She was good lay and that was the extent of their 'relationship.' And his parents? Yeah, right. His mother might come see him if she could sneak away from his father. But he knew that because of her condition his father would never allow her to see him in here. His father had warned him that if he got in trouble again they would be done with him. "Your mother has enough shit on her plate without worrying about your bullshit! We're done. Take him to jail for all I care." He remembered his father yelling at him in the police station that night. He hadn't realized the guard had stopped and was pulled back. He looked on the other side of glass and his eyes got wide as he stared at Samantha Walker.

Asylumm | 320 comments Samatha went back to the store after she saw Nate. She walked in the store still thinking about him being in Jail for nine months, it was true that she didn't know him but she knew that he didn't deserve to be in there behind himself.

"You need to get out more, Sammy.." Said Ruth, he ruffled her hair, she huffed and pushed him away. "Stop, you know i hate when you do that." she said as she started brushing her hair down. "And duhh i know that." she said with a smirk and a eye roll. Ruth chuckled at her little attitude. Samantha had sneaked out of her house to go out with Ruth. Ruth always told her about how him and some group of people would go out and do some stupid ass shit, and even though Sam looked all sweet and incent she wanted in. As Sam followed Ruth, she started to noticed they weren't on the good part of town anymore. Which made her nervous. "Don't worry.. we are almost there." Ruth said with a smirk, once he noticed Sam was starting to walk slower. And he wasn't wrong. It was only another street down when they saw the group. Samantha told quiet as Ruth talked with everyone. She noticed she wasn't the only girl, which made Sam relax a little. "Damn, i forgot.. Y'all this is Samantha.." Ruth said as he wrapped his arm around her neck. She quickly pushed him off her. "It's just Sam." she said, she knew that Ruth had a crush on her, it was kind of hard not to see but she always thought he would get over it. When she glanced away from Ruth, that's when she saw Nate for the first time, leaning on the street pole.

"Sam!?" yelled the cashier, Sam shook her head as she noticed she was in line. "Sorry.. Yeah, that will be all." she said as she reached in her purse and grabbed the money for the items her mother wanted. She grabbed the bags and walked out the store, she noticed it was getting dark. "Great.. i am going to get a speech," she said softly to herself, knowing she was only supposed to be out for an hour the most. But it took longer to get back from the courthouse than she thought. She put the bags in the back seat of her car and got in. She was home in 15 minutes, she noticed her father was home from work. She sighed as she pulled into their drive-way and parked her car. She got out with the bags and locked the door, soon she walked into the house her mother was in the kitchen and her father was sitting at the dinning room table. "Hey, dad." she said with a smile, but her father didn't return the smile.

She needed up getting yelled out for a full hour. Mostly about her safety and how they loved her, and wouldn't want anything to happen. She had heard the speech way to much, so it all went in one ear and out the other. She went to her room after she took a shower, she put on an oversized shirt. That could never remember where she got it from. She needed up going to sleep thinking about Nate, which was weird but when she woke up the next morning she didn't think anything of it. She got dressed (view spoiler)
Ruth invited her to his place for a movie but, she didn't have to be there until 1 'oclock. She thought of a place she could go until then but she didn't tell her parents knowing that would flip if she told them she was going to jail. She got lost a few times along the way but, she soon found it and after that, it was easy. When she walked in the guards looked at her, like she was lost. "I am here to see Nathan Rush.." she said, which made her get more weird looks but she just ignored them and followed the guard that mentioned for her. He point to a sit. "Sit here.. i will go get him." he said before he disappeared out back. It wasn't long before Nate was standing in front of her. She smiled softly as she pushed some of her hair behind her ear. "Hi, Nate." she said with a slight nervous wave. It was weird not seeing him in his normal getup.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments "Damn, i forgot.. Y'all this is Samantha.." Ruth said as he wrapped his arm around the blonds neck. She quickly pushed him off her. "It's just Sam." She said and then her eyes locked on him. He had been leaning on the street pole with his arms crossed over his chest. He raised an eyebrow at Ruth for bringing this doe eyed, gorgeous girl with him. It was clear from the way Ruth was acting that he had a thing for the girl. He wondered why. Sure, she was nice to look at but other than that? He wasn't sure just yet. "Come on, sexy." Erin drawled as she pushed her breasts onto him. He smirked as he looked down at her.
Nate felt the hand on his shoulder tighten and he remembered where he was. He sat down in the seat and nodded to the guard. He raised an eyebrow at her wave. "Hi, Sam." He said. He sighed and leaned back in the chair. "What brings you here?" he asked her. "I didn't..." he glanced around and then leaned forward. "I didn't say anything to incriminate you or any of the others if that's the reason you're here." He said. He shrugged. "I may be an asshole, but I'm no snitch." He told her as he once again leaned back in his chair. He felt strange sitting in front of Sam dressed in something other than his normal clothes. (view spoiler) He normally had his leather jacket, a t-shirt with some band he liked, and his dark jeans on. But now he was in a tight grey t-shirt and the prisons orange pants.
"Damn, Nate. Hot girl." Z whistled as he walked by. Nate's eyes narrowed at Z's back. "Shut the fuck up, man." He called back. Z just laughed and sat down in a chair across from a beautiful woman. "Hey, I got my own woman to handle. I ain't need yours. Though, I do have eyes. And she's a fucking hottie." Nate smirked and shook his head. "She's not my woman though." He told him and then turned back around to look at Sam. He and Z just might get along after all.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam slightly frowned at the sight of Nate just standing there staring at her. Maybe i should.. go she thought to herself but, soon she was about to stand he sat down, she didn't understand what just happen but she acted like it didn't happen. She relaxed in her chair, then he spoke. She sighed and rolled her eyes. Of course.. he would think thats why i am here she thought. Yeah, she liked hanging with him and his friends. But she was actually different from all of them. She didn't worry about just herself, she worried about others and right now she was worried about Nathan. She opens her mouth to speak but then she saw and heard some man, she didn't feel any type of way. He wasn't saying anything she never heard anyway. She just waited quietly until him and Nate was done talking like she wasn't there. Once they were done, Sam leaned forward putting her arms on the small corner. "Anyway... You have the wrong idea.. That's not way i am here." She said. "I just thought you needed someone to come visit you since no one else seems to care." she said as she shrugged her shoulders. She knew that she didn't know him well as the others did but at least she took the time to come and see him, while everyone else acted like he never existed. "But, i understand if you don't want come anymore.." she said softly. Giving him the option to tell her to get out his face, since she never actually asked what he wanted. Maybe he did wanted to be forgotten.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate cocked his head as he listened to Samantha. She wanted to come visit him because she cared? Was he understanding this correctly? He frowned. "You... you came to visit me because you care?" he asked her. He ran a hand over his neck and then his eyebrows shot straight up. "You want to come visit me some more?" he couldn't believe it. Here was this pretty girl that he really didn't know, even though they hung out around each other for a while. He shook his head. "I wouldn't mind if you came more." He said truthfully. He leaned forward. "But why? Why do you want to come visit me? Is it because of what happened that night?" he asked her.

"Go! Run ahead. I'll draw their attention from you." Nate told Sam. He had stopped and glanced behind them to the flashing blue and red lights. The cops had shown up and ruined their party. He waved at Sam. "Go!" he yelled at her.

Nate bit his lip as he remembered what he had said to her. He had helped her get away but at the same time, he had gotten caught. He had wondered why Ruth hadn't helped her since she was his friend. But then again, Ruth had always been somewhat of a douche bag when it came to women. "I saw you yesterday at the court. How'd you know when my court date was and where it was being held?" he asked her.

message 14: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Samantha could tell that he was shocked it was on in his voice. She shook her head slightly. "No.. I mean.. I feel bad that a little for you helping me but, I would have still come even if you had saved someone else." she said, Samantha remembered everything from that night. Nate saved her while Ruth ran saving his own tail.

Samantha stopped and glanced back at Nate, she didn't want to leave him. It wasn't right, they both were doing stupid shit not just him but he told her to 'go' and she nodded and started running once again. Even though every part of her body didn't want to. She didn't stop running onto she was back on the main road that connected to the town. Her heart raced, she ran her hand through her hair as she tried to catch her breath. She glanced back, hoping that Nate would come out. Acting all heroic, like he wasn't scared for a second. She stood in the same spot for an hour waiting but, he never did. "Sam?!" yelled a familiar voice. Sam covered her ears but, the voice only got closer. Ruth out his hand on her lower back as he said her name again. Sam pushed him away but, this time he could tell she wasn't playing. "Why you just left us?!" Sam yelled, before Ruth could answer her she took off. Heading home.

She shook her head and sighed before she spoke. "I just thought that you could use someone... That's all." she said with a shrug. She didn't know why she even hung out with Ruth, she wasn't stupid she knew he liked her but only until he got what he wanted. But no one treated her like a human the way he did, to everyone else she was the daughter of a S.W.A.T member. They all were scared of her father. Thinking she would just come around and her father would ruin the fun. Which was why she never told anyone in the group about him. Knowing that they would do the same. "Well i bumped into your parents at the store.. Your mother was helpful.. your father not so much." she said with a smirk.

Everything was going good, until she heard someone call her name. "Sammy?" she glanced back hoping not to see anyone that knew her father or even her mother. And it was only Maya, a girl Sam knew from elementary school. They use to be close until Rachel found more popular kids to be around. Maya walked to Sam while Sam herself didn't bother to get up. She never acted fake with anyone. If she didn't like you, you would know. Maya stood beside Sam with a bright smile, she glanced at Sam and then at Nate. "Aww.. you found you a boyfriend. Thats good for you." she said, Samantha chuckled and glanced at Maya. "He is not my boyfriend.." she said, Maya was about to laugh but Sam cut her off with a small hand wave. "I have been having a okay day.. And i am not about to let the school slut ruin it so please go." she said with a smirk. Which left Maya speechless, she walked off heading to a chair, four chairs down from Samantha. Sam sighed and rolled her eyes before she focused back on Nate, going back to her sweet self.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was a bit taken back by what she said. "Why? Why would you have come to see me, Sam? You don't know me." He said with a shake of his head. He nodded. "Yeah, I guess. Thanks for coming to visit me then." He said with a small smile. He was about to say something else but was interrupted by a girl. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. He thought she looked familiar. Perhaps he had seen her around the high school before. Luckily, his being in prison hadn't messed his schooling up. He had graduated a few months before he had gotten arrested. He watched Sam's interaction with the girl whose name he couldn't remember. He smirked as the girl seemed to be teasing Sam about having a boyfriend. He raised an eyebrow. If Sam had wanted to he could've pretended. But he shrugged. His eyes were laughing as Sam called the girls bullshit. He then laughed as she turned back to him with her sweet smile and look of complete innocence. "That was fucking awesome!" He said with a smirk. "Sam can be a badass. Honestly, that was fucking hot." He said with a wink. He felt eyes on his back and glanced over his shoulder to see Z coming over. "Not your woman huh?" he asked with a hard pat on his back. Nate was pushed forward by the pat but he rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shut it." He shook his head. "So... how is life?" he asked her unsure what to say now.

message 16: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments He didn't get it, she really wasn't like the others. Even though they hardly knew each other. She still knew him enough to care at least a little. She uses to see him at least once a day. Either out just by himself or with the group. He was human, she was never able to see someone every day and when she stopped seeing them, she never worried or wondered what happened to them. But the only differences was that she knew where he was. Plus being raised in a law enforcement home, she always knew how a person walked into prison, and they come out totally different. Sam thought he was a cool person and didn't want him to change like she knew everyone else in the visiting area was going to do. Sam shrugged at Nate's comment about her and the girl. She honestly didn't think anything of it. She was never the pushover type, even though most thought that way of her. Maybe it was because she was blonde.. Or just her look all together. But everyone learned either the easy way or the hard way, that they shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Sam glanced at the man again as he walked passed, paying more attention. She could tell this wasn't his first time in jail. He just had that look and feel about him. Sam eyes locked onto Nathan when he spoke to her. "A complete ass like always.." she said with a smile and a shrug.

message 17: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nathan wondered what Sam had been thinking about before she replied to him. It had seemed to be in depth since she frowned a little bit. He laughed out loud as she replied. "Yeah, life can be a complete ass. Look what life gave me." He said with a shrug. Honestly, he felt that life had given him a crap life. He hadn't always been this cool, rush seeking, strong, jackass that he was now. Life had given him a crap life that made him like this. He could barely remember the young, sweet, obedient geek he had been back in elementary school. But then something happened to his mom in the fifth grade that made him grow up faster than ever. That was also the year that his older cousin, Jace, had gone to jail for the first time. Jace had only been 18, two years younger than Nate was now. He shook his head as he thought of the kid he had once been. "Have you gone back to the group since then?" he asked her. He didn't think she had. She seemed like the sort of girl that didn't want to be involved with a group that might go to jail. But then again, she was here at jail visiting him so maybe she had.

message 18: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam started playing with the end of her long hair, she hated that she did it but she can't really help it. When he spoke, she wanted to ask him what he meant. But she knew that he probably didn't want to talk about it. At least with her, since she was still kinda of a stranger. Samantha glanced down at her fingers as they tangled around the end of her hair. She frowned at his question and glanced up. "Hell no.." she said, she shrugged as she thought of Ruth. "I only hanging around Ruth.. I don't even know why.. he is such an idiot." she said with a slight giggle. She leaned back in her chair and continued playing in her hair. "Have you heard from your girl?.." Samantha asked, only regretting the question when she heard it out loud. But it was to late, she just slid in the chair a little more. "Sorry." she mouthed to him. Her cheeks got a little hot and they red, she hated getting nervous in front of people. She moved her hair slightly in front of her face to cover her cheeks.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate could see her frown as he told her the life gave him just crap. But he wasn't going to elaborate on that right now. Only a few people knew what he had gone through his family and his one good friend that had moved, Karen Johnson. He nodded. "I didn't think so." He told her honestly. He nodded again and then shrugged. "Ruth has always been an idiot, Sam. You do realize he has the hots for you right? If you're smart though, you'll stay away from that with him. Most likely he'll leave you high and dry once he's got what he wanted from you." He told her. He knew how Ruth worked. Nate had once been like that but he derive any pleasure from that sort of lifestyle. He and Erin had a good thing going on. They weren't exclusive and they both knew it. But they had fun together. He had other girls before, after, and during their time together but he had always made sure to be careful. He raised an eyebrow at Sam as she asked him about Erin. "If you're talking about Erin, then no." He shook his head. "And besides, she was never my girl. We just had fun." He said with another shrug. "And don't apologize about it. It's a valid question, Sam." He told her. He noticed her blush and smirked. "You got a cute blush." He told her.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam nodded to his words about Ruth, he was saying everything that she knew already. But he did make her realize that she wasn't wrong for thinking that way of Rush. "I know.. I don't think of him in that way." she said with a shook of her head. "I have been trying to get it through his small brain that i only want to be friends with his ass." she said. Ruth was a hardheaded, but he was cool and truly her only friend. If she didn't hang out with him she would be home all day. Which would crazy her crazy, so she just stuck with his flirting. Hoping that he would soon understand that it was never going to happen. "I am never going to fall weak to no ones games." she said. Sam had a boyfriend in the past but they never had sex. He felt like he was ready to but she wasn't and the relationship lasted for two years. Until he broke up with her on her sixteenth birthday. She hadn't thought about dating anyone since. So the whole Ruth wasn't new to her.

She always thought that him and Erin were together, they always acted like it. At least when she seemed to be around they did. "Oh, well.. sorry.. i thought yall were a thing." she said, she blushed harder when he brought her blushing. "Don't say that." she said she as she covered her face. Trying to hide her bright red face.

message 21: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was glad to hear that Samantha was smart enough to not fall for Ruth's games. "Good." Was his short reply. He shrugged. "It makes sense why you would think that." He told her. Erin and him had at once tried to be a couple but it didn't last long. They realized they preferred to keep what they had casual. Archer had done the dating thing and he hadn't dated anyone that was worth keeping. He hadn't felt anything stronger than lust for the girls he had dated. That's why he kept his relationships with women causal for the most part. He chuckled when she covered her face. "Ah, come on. Don't hide from me." He said leaning forward to brush aside her hair. "No touching!" A hard voice called to him. He sat back and looked over. "Got it." He said and raised his hands. "No touching." He rolled his eyes. "What am I going to do? Hurt her? Grab a pin from her hair to escape?" he scoffed and he saw the eyes of the guard narrow. "Your visiting time is over for today." The guard growled and grabbed Nate roughly. "See ya later, Sam." He said as he left with the guard.

message 22: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Of course she thought when the guard got all in his feelings and cut her and Nate's visiting hours short. She sighed, she can't hide that was a little annoyed. "See you later." she said as she stood up, she waved goodbye before she turned her back and started walking off. It was nice to talk to him without anyone from the group was around. He isn't so bad she thought to herself, she shrugged at her own thought as she left the building. Once she was at her car, like clockwork. Her phone started vibrating, she had put it on vibrate when she went in to see Nate. She took it out her pocket and got in her car. She answered it not looking at the caller ID, already knowing who it was. "I am coming to Ruth, stop getting your panties in a knot." she said as she pulled out of the parking alot.

It wasn't long before she was at Ruth's place. He had his own little apartment. Sam was jealous of him for that, she still lived with her parents which meant she had to do everything they said- well not everything but still. "What the hell took you so long." Ruth said as he opened the door for Sam. She rolled her eyes with a smile, she didn't think about telling him that she went to see Nate. It wasn't his business right? "I just lost track of time." she said as she walked in, she walked into his living room. She flopped onto his couch, which she loved by the way- it was the most comfortable couch het butt ever sat on. "Okay what we watching?" she said as she clapped her hands together and sat up on his couch criss-cross applesauce. Ruth smirked at her as he sat beside her.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Because of Nate talking back to the guard he was roughed up while he was being taken back to his cell. As he was pushed into the cell he rolled his eyes. The guard who was also known as Silas James glared at him. "You better watch yourself, boy." He said as he walked away. Nate scoffed. "Boy? You're the same age as me, Silas! I went to high school with you." He called out with a smirk. Silas came back and narrowed his eyes. "Yeah, I remember you, Silas. The small boy that everyone picked on. Well, not everyone. I didn't. In fact, I remember even helping you. Guess your father pushed you too far huh?" he groaned as Silas punched him directly in the jaw and then stalked away. Nate groaned softly and grabbed his jaw. That was going to be sore tomorrow.
Z had heard everything since his cell was just a few down from Nate's. He walked over to Nate's cell and leaned against the bars. "Damn, you just got on James' shit list. Which let me tell ya, is not where you want to be. He's one of the most psycho guards they have in here. He's not afraid to get rough and beat the shit out us in here. And he'll get away with it too." Nate nodded. "Yeah, I figured. His dad's a big shot defense lawyer so..." he shrugged and shook off the punch. "So..." Z smirked. "So... that girl today who visited you. Who's she to you?" he asked. Nate scoffed and then laughed. "Really? Yesterday you were beating me up with your gang and today we're buds?" Z shrugged. "Yesterday was your initiation and you passed. If you want you can be part of the gang. But I wouldn't go so far as to say you and I are buds." He said with a smirk. "Though, I could definitely see us heading that way, despite your young age." Nate nodded. "Trust me, I act a lot older than I actually am. And you're not that old." He said looking at the guy. Z seemed to be in his early 30s.

Asylumm | 320 comments "Oh, damn he should have seen that coming." Ruth said as him and Sam watched a movie. It was they're third or fourth one. "Pft.. like you would." Sam said glancing back at him. Anyone that knew Sam, would quickly see that she was a horror movie fan. The more blood and guts the better. She got it from her father, at least thats what her mother told her. "After this you such go meet up the group." Ruth said, Sam sighed and ignored him. She been told him she wasn't going to hang with them anymore. "I know you heard me." He said grabbing the remote. Samantha glared at him. "Ruth, you better not." She said trying not to laugh. Ruth smirked and pushed the button. The TV turned black. "Come on, i think he was about to kill that damn nurse finally." She said with a pout. "Are you coming with me?" He asked, ignoring the whole TV situation. Sam sighed and shook her head as she got on her feet. "I am just go. You go ahead and have fun.. later." She said quickly not giving him room to say a thing. She grabbed her phone and purse at the same time, and walked to the door. When she was closing it behind her, she heard him say something but she just shrugged her shoulders and got into her car. She was home softly after, her parents weren't home yet. Which gave her time to relax by herslef, she went straight to the bathroom to take a bubble bath.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate slept better that night then he had the night before. He now knew that he would do okay in prison. He might even have a gang soon. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted that though. Z and his gang were a mix of guys and he knew that if he joined he'd be safe. But he wasn't the type of guy who truly wanted to get mixed up with these men. These men had done things that earned them a residence inside this prison. Sure, Nate did to, but his was a lesser sentence and he had only been sentenced because he had been trespassing and then resisting arrest. He got up and was walked to the shower. This was going to be an experience. Showering in prison was something that was meant to be awkward. There were no shower stalls, it was just one big shower with the bad men in prison. He held his head up high and kept his gaze on the wall and made sure to look no one in the eye. He did glance over once when he felt someone gazing at him. He frowned it was one of Z's men in the gang. The guy was definitely a twink, he was also really young and resembled Z, a lot. He raised an eyebrow and the guy quickly looked away. Nate smirked and shook his head.
Nate had put on the new clothes he was given and then headed into the cafeteria to have breakfast. He saw Z and his gang and thought why not. He walked over and sat down beside Z and the twink. "Hey." He said to Z and the other guys. Z raised an eyebrow at Nate with a smirk. "So is this your way of saying you're in?" he asked. Nate shrugged. "Before I say I'm officially in, I need to know why you want me and who you all are and what you're in for." He told Z as he grabbed a piece of bread from the table. He tore into it and popped a piece in his mouth. "Starting with you. I caught you staring at me in the shower, boy." He said with a smirk. He immediately felt the tension around him and Z growled. "Watch yourself, Nate." Nate raised an eyebrow and looked at Z. "Did you know he was gay?" He asked Z and then he looked over as the big guy, the brute of the group stood up with anger in his eyes. Nate grinned. "Alright, I have my answer. I'm in." Z was taken back. "What?" Nate nodded. "Yeah. I just wanted to make sure you were loyal to one another no matter what. I had a feeling you would be loyal to the kid. Especially since he's related to you and all that." He waved his hand. Z froze. "Damn, kid. You're an observant one. And boy, what did I tell you about staring at guys in the shower?" he asked the young man who still had wide eyes. Nate chuckled. "Sorry kid, I didn't mean to scare you." He said patting his shoulder.

Asylumm | 320 comments Beep Beep Beep Beep

Samantha frowned at the annoying sound of the alarm clock. She hit the snooze button without looking. She didn't remember falling asleep last night. She knew she had to get up but. her body didn't want to move. She sighed and opened her eyes once she turned her head to glance at her Alice in Wonderland theme clock. She was in love with Alice in Wonderland, it was a secret to carry to her gave. (view spoiler) "Fuck!" she yelled once she realized the time, She was going to be late for her class. She jumped out of bed and onto her feet, she rushed into her bathroom. She took a quick shower. Even though she would much rather take a nice relaxing bubble bath. She didn't have time for that. Once she was out. She got dressed not in her normal outfit but in her scrubs. She put her long blonde hair into a messy bun. The last thing she did was put her socks and shoes on. She then grabbed her phone, which was on her nightstand, she glanced at the screen as she pushed the home button to make sure it was on a 100%. She nodded to her when she saw the percentage it was on.

"Honey, you know what time it is?.. Your going to be late." said her mother. Duh, you think i don't know that Sam thought as she heard her mother, as she walked down the stairs. Once she was fully downstairs Sam glanced around looking for her mother, she found her in the kitchen getting her father's coffee ready. She gave her mother a fake smile and wave. "I know ma, i am heading out now." she said, her mother nodded without even looking up at her. Samantha took that as Okay go on then she shrugged her shoulders, she grabbed her book bag off the couch as she left the house. Sam made it to her class, only being 3 minutes late. She sat in the back of the class like she was always had done. She took her notebook out her bookbag and started writing down notes as her professor spoke. Samantha always liked helping people. Even though her parents wanted her to be a lawyer or something in the criminal based. She found her love in the medical field. She wanted to be a surgeon. Telling her parents that was hell for her. She had to hear the whole We know what's best for you damn speech but, when they realized that she wasn't taking no for an answer. Which took like a month or two, they soon gave her the support.

After Sam was done taking all four of her classes for the day. She started to leave, she was walking to her car when she glanced at her phone for the first time since the morning. And she saw she that she missed five calls from Ruth, she rolled her eyes. Can this boy give me a break she thought. Ruth was becoming more and more stalkerish. But the thought of him flow out her mind once her eyes went to the time on her phone. She thought about Nate, it was visting hours. She thought about going but, then again she just saw him. Would it be weird going to seem him, Two- well actually three days in a row. She shrugged and got in her car. Sam decided to go, she knew Nate had enough balls to tell her if he didn't want to see her. He was a year older than her, so he shouldn't be scared to tell a 5'1 blonde girl how he felt. It wasn't like she had anything else better to do with her time anyway. So she once again drove to see little old Nate.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments The rest of the day Nate had learned a little bit about his new gang. There was only five, now six with Nate, in the gang total. There was Z (view spoiler), the leader who had been put in prison for being the messenger (breaking people when they didn't pay or give up information) to a major crime lord. Miles (view spoiler), his nephew and the scrawniest of them all standing at a mere 5'3 to their 6 feet and more, who had been put in prison for vandalizing multiple times. Ian (view spoiler), the brute who seemed to have a thing for Miles not that Z saw that, who had been put in prison for nearly killing the man who had beaten the shit out of his sister. Neil (view spoiler), the brains, who had been put in prison for scamming his clients out of millions of dollars. And then there was Quill (view spoiler), the jokster, he had been arrested for public indecency and resisting arrest and then assaulting an officer. These men hadn't done very bad things, but then again this was the lowest level of detention, or at least that's what Nate believed.

Nate had been laughing at Miles' impersonation of his uncle along with Ian. He had the same schedule as these two while the other three had been lead outside. They would go outside in a while when they got back. The prison had three groups and they were in the second. Nate had been observing the relaxed nature between the men and had thought that if something wasn't going on between them it soon would. He smirked at this thought. "What's that look for?" Ian asked and Nate shook his head while his eyes laughed at them. "Rush, you got a visitor." A guard who he now knew as, Trent said. Nate stood up. "See you boys later. Have fun without me." He said with a wink to Miles as he hurried away. He glanced back to see both Ian and Miles blushing and laughed.

He walked into the visiting center and he was surprised to see Sam once again. He sat down right away. "Hey. I didn't expect to see you today. Three times in a row?" he said with a smile. "Not that I'm saying don't come..." he said quickly. He wanted to roll his eyes at himself. "Anyways, hi." He said with a nod of his head. He looked over at the guards and saw Silas once again. He smirked and waved watching the other mans jaw tick. His own hand went to his jaw. He had the start of a bruise forming where Silas had clocked him.

Asylumm | 320 comments She was nervous still coming to see him like they were so close. She glanced down at herself and realized she was still in her scrubs. Damn it.. i hope he doesn't notice. she thought to herself. She took her hair out of her bun and ran her hand through her hair, to make sure that he wouldn't be able to see that she had it up. She was hoping that her long hair would hide her cloths. She soon glanced up and smiled when she saw Nate walking from the back. She watched him walk over to her but, her smile quickly faded when she saw the bruise. She ignores the words, he said. "What the fuck happened to you?" she asked not being her normal quiet self. She raised her hand to grabbed his face but the guard's words from yesterday ringed in her head. She sighed, the annoyance could be easily heard in her voice. She put her hand back down on the corner. "Who did that? And before you spoke.. Don't lie." she said as she pointed to the bruise on his jaw, making sure her elbow didn't move off the corner.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was taken back by her questions. He gave her a look. "I got my ass handed to me, Sam. What does it look like? Someone punched me in the jaw." He told her with a shrug. "It's no big deal. And I won't lie. But that mean I'm going to tell you who punched me. Besides, what do you care?" he asked her. He looked her up and down and then smirked. "Scrubs huh? Did you just come from a surgery?" he teased her. He didn't know much about her so he had no clue that she was in school to become a surgeon. He doubted she knew that he was waiting on some scholarship to get into college. But he doubted he'd be able to get in now with this being on his record. He rubbed his jaw on the side that wasn't bruised and chuckled. "If you're so worried about me being in here, you'll be happy to know that I have a couple friends in here now. Five of them." He told her with a grin. "I guess you could say I am now part of a prison gang." He shook his head. "I still can't believe it myself." He told her with a shrug. He hoped she would let the whole thing about his jaw go since it had been a prison guard, Silas who had done it.

She glanced down at herself and smirked before she shook her head. "No.. i just came from classes, and they require for us to wear this." she said, he was in jail who else was he gonna tell. "But, you hit my career right on the nail. I am going to be a surgeon." she added with a shrug on her shoulders. prison gang she thought to herself, she shook her head. "You know that... them things never end well." she said, being a law enforcement daughter had some good things and knowing everything that happened inside the prison was one of them. "Someone is going to stab someone in the back." she said softly, she ran her hand through her hair and then placed it behind her ear. "... Just be careful, that's all I am going to see." she said.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate was grateful she wasn't going to push the topic about the bruise on his jaw. He sighed as she leaned back in her chair. He did the same and leaned back in his own chair. He raised an eyebrow and then he laughed. "Really? You're planning on becoming a surgeon?" He nodded. "That's a great plan, Sam." He told her honestly. He then let out another sigh and nodded once again. "I know it seems like a stupid idea. But, honestly, Sam I need friends in here I don't know if you knew this but my older cousin, Jace, he has been in prison a couple of times. He's told me all I need to know." He sighed. "Honestly, he'll probably be in here with me soon enough." He told her with a shrug. He frowned. Why are you telling her this? You don't know this girl. Not really. He ran a hand over the back of his neck. "I'll be careful." He told her. "How... how would you know about this anyways, Sam?" he asked her genuinely interested in the answer.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam listened and nodded given though she disagreed with alot that he was saying she decided not to even speak about it. It just seemed like she was going to be hitting on a brick wall, and what was the point in doing all that. She then smiles when he finally said he would be careful. It was the only word she was hoping to hear. She about spoke when he asked a question. A question she didn't want to answer honestly, she but her bottom lip and started to play with the ends of her hair once again. "Pft.. You know.. People talk about prison and stuff when they get out." she said as she rolled her eyes, trying to act like she wasn't hiding anything. "Y'all wasn't the first group i have hung out with." she said with a slight giggle and a shrug of her shoulder. She was lying through her teeth but she hoped he would buy it.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate could tell that she wasn't thrilled with his response but was satisfied when he told her that he would indeed be careful. He also noticed when she began to play with the ends of her hair. Over the course that they had been hanging out, Nate had been fascinated with the younger girl. He would watch her every chance he got. Though no one seemed to notice besides Ruth anyways. He smirked when he thought back to when Ruth told him to stay away and don't mess up what he was trying to do with the girl. Nate wasn't planning on making a move on Sam but she was new and she acted innocent for the most part. Or at least her appearance screamed innocence. He had wondered more than once if she'd ever had sex before or been touched by another guy. But one thing that he had noticed about her was that she played with the ends of her hair when she was nervous. He had noticed she did that a lot if the group was planning on doing something particularly idiotic and then again yesterday. "That's bullshit." He told her with a smile on his face for her giggle. She had a cute giggle. And once again he was reminded of her innocence by that damned giggle. Why would she want to be in association with a guy in prison?

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam was taken back when he spoke. She raised her eyebrow at him. "What you mean?" she asked, she hated being nervous in front of anyone that wasn't her parents. And now she never gets nervous around them since she kept her conversation short with them. Samantha couldn't help to play with the ends of her hair. She remembered the first time she did it around Nate and the group.

Ruth and the others decided to go skinny dipping into Mr. Parker's pool. Mr. Parker was an old man that watched over the neighborhood, which was way Sam got nervous about the idea. "Are we all in?" Ruth asked everyone, seemed to be up for the whole idea but Samantha. Ruth glanced over at her with a raised eyebrow. "Your in right, Sammy?" he asked, she was so nervous she didn't bother to correct him about her name. She hated being called anything but Sam. She didn't want to, no one ever saw her skin bare and she didn't want her first time to be with people she didn't know. But she couldn't look like a chicken in front of everyone. So she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. "Of course.." was the only words that would come out her mouth. "Alright then, come on.." Ruth said as he put his arm around Sam's neck. She started playing with the end of her hair as they walked to the old man's voice. She was so deep into her thought she didn't even notice Ruth was to close for comfort.

"It's not bullshit.. It's the truth." she added with a smirk at his smile, still playing with the ends of her hair. She didn't know that Nate ever was fascinated about her, if anything she thought she was annoying to him. Since he was use to someone like Erin. She and Erin were obviously different in looks and also in personality standpoint.

message 35: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate raised an eyebrow and cocked his head. "I reiterate; bullshit." He shook his head and pointed to her hand. "When you get nervous you play with the ends of your hair. I've seen you do it multiple times. Yesterday, you did when you asked me about Erin you had begun to play with you hair. And I've seen you do it before as well." He grinned as he thought back when he first saw her do that particular habit. The group had decided to go for a swim in Mr. Parker's pool. Naked. He had remembered being totally down to strip and swim. He was proud of his body, the body he kept in shape. He had seen this group naked plenty of times so he wasn't worried about seeing them naked. He turned heading to Mr. Parkers but stopped when he heard Ruth asking Sam. He rolled his eyes at Ruth's nickname. Samantha did not look like a Sammy.

"You're in right, Sammy?" Ruth asked Sam making Nate roll his eyes. He looked at the girl and noticed that everyone else was doing the same thing. She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. "Of course.." She replied and Nate grinned as he knew that she was uncomfortable with the idea. He had a feeling she didn't want to lose face with their group. Someone else whooped and started running ahead. "Alright then, come on.." Ruth said as he put his arm around Sam's neck. She started playing with the end of her hair as they walked to the old man's home. Nate noted how she worried the ends of her hair and also noticed how Ruth pulled her close to him. He turned back around and saw Erin playing grab ass with Frank. He rolled his eyes. Seemed like his night was not going to end with a fuck from Erin. Not that he really wanted it anyways. He glanced back at Sam and Ruth once again before climbing the fence.

Nate leaned forward in his seat, his face was only about a foot away from hers. "Come on, how does a girl like you know so much about being in prison, Sam?" he asked her again. He rubbed his jaw and winced as he rubbed the side with the bruise. "If you tell me the truth about how you know, then..." he glanced over at Silas and sighed. "I'll tell you who hit me, and I'll be honest."

message 36: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam was the last one to climb over the fence. And of course Ruth was there to pull her to the pool, once her feet touched the ground. "Stop pulling on my arm damn." she said, she was quite but she was loud enough for Ruth to hear. He sighed and glanced back at her as he dropped her hand. "What's your problem?" he asked, Sam rolled her eyes at his dumb question. "Nothing.." she said as her hands went to her hair once again. "Then come on, the old man is a sleep.. He won't even know we are here." Ruth said with a smirk as he glanced at Sam's body. She chuckled and shook her head, him doing that pushed her to her limit. "Come on, Samantha." he said as she went the came way they had came.

Samantha didn't understand why Ruth could never see that she just wasn't into him like that, she shook her head at the memory, she glanced at Nate. Her eyes widened at his pointing finger. He noticed? she thought to herself. She bit her lips slightly once again, the thought of him even noticing her flaw just made her more nervous. Her face turned slightly red, she glanced down at the floor not wanting to look him in the eye anymore. But when he offered to make a deal, her eyes locked onto his automatically. "Deal.." She said with a nodded. "Well.. my father is a S.W.A.T member so i grow up learning about criminal justice since birth." she whispered not wanting anyone else to hear. Her mind started to wonder what his reaction would be. Would it be like the others or would it be different?.. The same she betted to herself. But, before he could even give her his opinion she spoke again. "Who did that to you?" she asked.

message 37: by Xander (new)

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate had taken his shirt off and reached for his pants when he saw Sam and Ruth. He waited for a moment and then groaned as he saw her turn and head off in the direction they had came from. He ran over and clapped Ruth on the shoulder. "Go on and get in the pool. I'll get the girl to come and swim." He said and then not so lightly pushed the guy in the direction of the pool. He watched Ruth do as he said and then turned and ran after Sam. He smirked as he reached her. "Heading somewhere? You know the party is the other way, right?" he asked her. He glanced behind him and saw clothes strewn all over the side of the pool. "You know, if you didn't want to strip completely, you don't have to. If it would make you feel better I could keep on my underwear so you're not alone." He said with a shrug.

Nate looked straight in her eyes and knew that she agreed. He nodded and then listened to her intently. Once she told him her father was part of S.W.A.T his eyes got partially wider. Holy shit. He was just about to respond when she asked about his bruise. He sighed and nodded. "A deal's a deal. The guy who gave this to me, his name is Silas James." He told her. He didn't mention that he was a guard or that he was the same age as he was. He doubted Sam knew the name anyways. Sure, he had gone to the same high school as them but Silas had been a nobody, he had been the one to get bullied the most. Nate never bullied the guy and he had even helped and stood up for him but that seemed to anger the guy. He always had a temper on him.

Nate shrugged. "So, your dad is a S.W.A.T member? That's badass, Sam. But if you grew up knowing about criminal justice then why were you hanging out with us, knowing that what we did was fucking stupid and could end up getting us in jail. My case in point." He said pointing to his attire.

Asylumm | 320 comments Sam excepted to hear Ruth's voice. But when she hear Nate's her body automatically stopped, she listened to what he had to say and her hands were playing with her hair the whole time. Sam was about to shake her head but her mouth opened instead. "Yea.. sure." she was surprised in herself when she heard thoses words come out of her own mouth. She bit her lip and softly sighed and nodded. "Sure.. i guess." she said as she put some of her hair behind her hair and walked back. Ruth glanced at Sam walking with Nate and it didn't sit right with him but he didn't bring it up. "Come on, Sam." he said, she was already taking off her shirt. She took off her pants, and before Ruth could say anything she jumped into the water.

Sam remembered the name but not the face of Silas James. "He used to go to the high school.. Right?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. It was going to drive her crazy since she couldn't remember the face behind the name. "Well.. honestly my family is kind of strict. So i was never able to do much until I meet Ruth and you guys.. I don't have the same love that my dad does.. so yea." she said, she realized that she started rumbling a little. She stopped herself before she embarrassed herself even more.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate sighed and nodded. "Yeah, he did. I'm surprised you remember his name." He told her honestly. He nodded and shrugged. "I completely understand. Though, my parents weren't so strict. But..." He looked away and shrugged again. He bit his lip as he remembered the day his mom was diagnosed. And then he remembered the day he was diagnosed. He didn't go to public school for a while due to his illness but when he was cleared he was just going to begin high school. He decided to go to public school and that's when he decided to live life to the fullest. No matter what, he was going to do what he wanted to do. But his mom... His mom was still struggling with her illness and he didn't want to add to her stress but he had been so close to death that he wanted to live. He kept himself healthy and fit. He was no longer that skinny, weak, sick kid. He glanced back at Sam. No one knew about his past. He had made the mistake of telling his best friend, Karen that one time. And he saw the way she looked at him after that. It was almost like she was worried about him breaking or relapsing. He wondered what Sam's reaction would be. Would she look at him the same way Karen did?

Asylumm | 320 comments "I remember mostly everyone's name." she said with a shrug. She was telling the truth now and she wasn't nervous anymore. She was being her normal self. Sam noticed Nate stopped talking about his past again. It was weird when he starts did it, she didn't want to bring it up but now she wanted to know.. She didn't know him but, since she seemed to be the only one that was visiting so why not get to know him. Besides, she just told him about her father, which wasn't easy so why should he get the sweet spot? "Okay.. now you can't keep doing that." she said with a slight giggle. "If you're going to talk about your pass and family to leave it all blank... i get enough cliffhangers from my anime shows." she said not being able to help to giggle again at her own words this time.

"So I'll leave it blank for you from now on. And you can have your cliffhangers on your anime shows." He cocked his head. "Isn't anime like pg-13 porn or something?" He had never watched any anime. He did have remember hearing a few boys talking about this big chested, hot woman in one of those shows. He even got a glimpse of ger as they were showing her picture around. He had to admit she was smoking and sge did have huge tits. But the more they talked about the show itself, it turned him off it. Besides he didn't want to have to read the subtitles. "Is there any anime in english besides Pokemon?" He asked her. He knew of Pokemon but thaf was because of his younger cousin on his moms side. He was always playing that stupid game on the phone where you catch something and level them up. Or something like that. He shrugged.

She nodded in agreement it was fair, but her mouth dropped when he made his comment about animes. "It's some out there that it's about anything sexual.. " she said. She knew some people didn't watch them but for her besides horror movies, it was number shows she would watch every night. "There are some but, to be honest, the ones with the subtitles are the best." she said, some of her favorite anime shows had english subtitles. She had to get use to reading faster than a normal bear but once she got the hang of it. It was no stopping her. "But if you wait after a month or two the best ones sometimes publish out the english vision.. Maybe when you get out of her, i will put my favorite show on you." she added not really thinking of what she said, she rubbed the neck of her. Sam didn't even realize the time, a guard came in the room. "Visting hours are up." Sam frowned at the man's words and glanced at her phone, which was on her lap the whole time. It was getting late, her eyes widened at the time. "Damn.. i didn't even notice." she said softly thinking she wasn't speaking loud enough for anyone to hear her. "I guess.. i will see you later." she said with a smile. She was about to get up but then she thought of something. She grabbed Nate's hand, which alerted one of the guards, he didn't speak he just walked over quietly. She grabbed her pen out of her pocket and wrote her number down on Nate's hand. "Call me.. you know if i don't come or whatever.. and you need a somewhat normal person to talk to." she said once she was done, she waved and gave friendly smile. The guard smirked as he walked Samantha out of the building.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate smiled as he saw her jaw just about drop at his comment about animes. He nodded and waved his hand for her to continue. He chuckled and then his eyes got wide. He smiled and nodded. "That sounds like a plan. I'll hold you to that, you know." He told her. He liked hanging out with Sam. She was so very different from the other girls he knew. In fact, she reminded him of how his mother had been in the past. He noted that she seemed to feel uneasy with what she jad said about showing him one of her favorites after he was released. He was about to mention something when Trent came over to them. He glanced up at the guy sort of irritated that he was interrupting their time. But then his eyes got wide and he looked at Sam. He chuckled. "Time flies when you're having fun." He told her. He stood up. Whens he grabbed his hand he tensed and immediately looked at Trent who was just as tense. "Uh..." He saw her write her number on his hand and looked up at her. "Oh... Okay. Yeah. Sure." He said as he waved back at her and then rubbed the back of his neck.

Once he had gotten back to his cell, since he had missed his groups allotted time outside, he looked down at her number and shook his head. He felt something different about this number than others. He had girls write their numbers on his hand before but that didn't mean anything to him but a good time. With Sam tho... He couldn't do anything with her even if he wanted to. Not just because of his being in jail but he doubted her S.W.A.T dad would want a guy whos been to jail before with his daughter. That led him to wonder if her dad even knew she was visiting him. He doubted he did. Just like he knew somehow that they had no clue abput her involvment with the group.

Asylumm | 320 comments Once Sam was outside she sighed, she didn't think when she gave Nate her number. Not that many people outside her family knew her number in the first place but, Ruth... and... now Nate. She smiled at the thought as she walked to her car. She opened the door and got in. Soon her butt hit the sit her phone rung, she glanced at the caller ID hoping it wasn't Ruth. And it wasn't- it was her father, she sighed knowing she couldn't just let it ring. So she swiped the green button and put her phone to her ear.

"Hello,,"
"Samantha.. Where are you?"
"I just came from getting something to eat, with some of my classmates. We kind of lost track of time."
"Oh, okay.. Well me and your mother are going to the Miller's.. Will be okay home by yourself?"
"Yeah, i am on my way home now.. I will be fine. Go ahead and have fun."
"Alright, Samantha.. We love you, drive safe."
"Love you guys too."

Sam hung up and throw her phone in the passenger sit. She hated when her parents talked to her since they loved to call her 'Samantha' no matter how many times she tells them that she doesn't like it. She started her car and started driving home. As she drove her mind wrapped around Nate, she didn't know him but she liked that. He had secrets and she looked forward to unlocking all his secrets. She could tell that it was going to be a pain in the ass but she thought it was worth it. For him to an awesome person, then she couldn't help but think of how great of a person he would be without his walls he was keeping up. Sam ended up at her house, which seemed like a shorter trip than before. She walked into the empty house, she sighed as she closed and locked the door behind herself.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Nate thought about Sam's visit and what they had said to each other. He shook his head and was amazed that he even thought about telling Sam about his past. He even told her that perhaps one day he would let her in. He never did that. He didn't even let his own parents in because he knew that they couldn't handle it. Or at least his father couldn't and his mother... Well. His father had too much control over her. He sighed. When he remembered that Sam had offered to show him one of her favorite anime shows he grinned. He couldn't believe that in a manner of days he and Sam were getting close. Real close. Almost like how he and Karen had been. He sighed as he thought about Karen.

Nate snorted as Karen told him the joke. "Oh my god! Where the heck did you hear that?" He asked her. Whe shrugged with a smirk. "One of my TV shows." She told him. "So what we planning today, Rush? Cause I'm feeling like we should go see a movie." He rolled his eyes. "You just want popcorn and some snack from the theatre." He said bumping her shoulder. She shrugged. "Yep. I don't care what kind of movie we see you pick." She grinned and Nate grinned back at her.

Nate and Karen had beeb good friends for about a year before she moved away. He had never told the group that he was hanging out with her. They didn't need to know. Besides he wasn't keeping her a secret from them. He rolled his eyes at himself. He had been. He didn't want any of the group to know that he was really a nerd. He had told Karen about what had happened and that's when things changed between them. She knew what he was doing with the group and she tried to get him to stop. To see that he was going to get hurt or some shit like that. She also then wanted him to eat better. Eat more salads and vegetables, not popcorn or junk. When she moved away he was sad to see his friend go, but not the friend that she had become. He didn't like that she had changed their dynamic when he told her of what happened to him.

The next day another guard came and got him for a vister. He walked into the vister center expecting it to be Sam again but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw his mother. He had known that she would most likely come visit but he didn't want her to. He didn't want her to have to see her son in prison. He sighed and sat down across from her. "Hi mom."

Asylumm | 320 comments ~ Oh okay, and sure that sounds fine ~

The next day, she woke up to an empty house. It was weird for it to be empty in the morning at least her mother would be home. But there was no one, she sighed and shrugged thinking they probably went to one of her father's meeting and forgot to leave a note. Which they have done a few times, Sam had to take a test but she didn't have to be at the school until later. So she wasn't surprised when her mind went Nate. Four days in the row she thought. It sounded like a lot but, when she really thought about it. It wasn't since it wasn't like she spent all day with him. She was only allowed to see him a few hours of the day, she shrugged at the thought. She walked into her bathroom, she took a shower and got dress. After that she headed to see Nate, she didn't think anyone would be visiting him. Seeing how every since he got arrested. Everyone seemed to have moved on with there life. But once she got to the prison, the guard from last night stopped her. "Your little friend already has a visitor." he said, Sam was shocked at his words, she shrugged her shoulders as she spoke. "I know that." she said as she walked past the guard, he didn't follow her like he was supposed to figuring he say her enough to know she wasn't the time to do anything.

Xander Wayne (orginalxander) | 634 comments Blaire Rush sat down across from her son with a small smile. "Hey, sweetheart. How are you doing? I'm sorry I haven't been by to see you." She said fidgeting with her hands. He sighed and shook his head. "It's fine, mom. I understand. I know dad doesn't want you to come see me." He looked down. "I'm sorry. How are you? How's the treatment going?" He asked her leaning towards her. He bit his lip as he took in her appearance. She had lost more weight and he could tell that she was still losing her hair even though she had a hat on. She smiled. "I'm doing better I think. I'm able to eat a lot more. I haven't been throwing up like I was before. Though, the dry heaves throughout the day are hard. But I don't have to tell you that." Nate winced and nodded. "Yeah. I remember those were bad." She nodded. "How are you sweetie? Have you been taking your meds? And getting enough exercise in here? Have you made any friends? Have any of your friends come to see you?" She had a lot of questions for him. He nodded. "Yeah, I have my meds. When I first arrived I went to the doctor here and explained my problem to him. He was very understandable and I am able to take my pills with my breakfast." He told her with what he hoped was an encouraging smile. Blaire let out a relieved sigh. "Good. I was worried about that." She told him. He glanced up at Trent and then expressed a telling emotion with his eyes. He then laid a hand on his mother's hand. "Please don't worry about me, mom. My cancer isn't going to come back." He sighed softly and squeezed her shoulder before letting go. "I am making sure to get exercise. I'm lifting weights and running when I grt the chance outside. I made a couple of friends on the inside. And yes. A friend has been coming to see me almost every day now. I'm not sure if she's coming today or not though." He told her. His mother frowned. "Erin?" The disdain in her voice clear. He laughed and shook his head. "No, Sam, Samantha Walker." She smiled. "Oh good. I love that girl. She'll be a great inflience on you, Nathan. Such a nice girl. She asked about you a few days ago. Well, I hope she keeps coming. I wish I could come more but..." She sighed. "Your father loves you, you know. He just... He's stressed and worried about everything." She looked at her watch. "I should get heading back. Your father will be expecting me. I love you, Nathan." Nate nodded. "I know. I love you, mom. Thanks for visiting me." He told her as she stood up and walked away. He placed his head in his hands. He was about to get up when Trent put a hand on his shoulder. He frowned at the guy. "You have another vister."

Asylumm | 320 comments Samantha heard everything and she was surprised that she hadn't noticed it before Mrs. Rush had cancer, she took a couple of steps back when their conversation was over. Sam and Blaire shared a glance at one either when she walked passed. She looked at the woman differently not like she pitied her. It was more like she saw her, for her now. Sam thought anyone that had cancer was the strongest people the world could ever know. They dealt with some more and since Samantha was in medical school, she knew everything they had to indoor on a day to day basis. Sam gave a bright smile and a wave as she watched Blaire leave. Samantha sighed to herself as she walked into the visitation room. She bit her lip as she sat down in front of Nate, her eyes were at the floor. She wanted to tell him, that she knew everything. And it now made sense why he didn't want her to know about his past. She glanced up at him for a second before looking back at the floor. She didn't pity him, she knew how it felt to be pitied and it sucked. So she never pitied anyone, she always looked at people that went through anything to be strong. I can't sit here and act like i didn't hear what i just heard.. But what if he gets mad.. But i think its great that he is better.. But is personal. she thought to herself as she sat in front of Nate. She didn't know what to say. She sighed softly decided to not be scared. "Did you think if you told me.. that i would look at you differently?" she asked still not able to look up, her hands slowly went to the ends of her hair.
