Midnight Tides (5/5) - I originally rated this 3/5 the first time I read this. So misguided I was. Truly great.Ruin 3.5/5
Forsworn 4/5 - novella.
Technically I finished Valour in September, but more of an August read :)
1. Magic Triumphs (Andrews) - such fun and a great conclusion to this series.2. Seraphina (Hartman) - read this with my daughter, story is beautifully and thoughtfully crafted.

Have you recovered yet? It took me a couple of weeks for it to stop being all consuming and get over the depression of being done.

The Shadow of What Was Lost and part 2 An Echo of Things to Come his writing is so similar to Brandon Sanderson and I enjoyed the mystery or the characters plus the magic oh my. Another book I see myself rereading Foundryside magic was great, adorable characters to cheer for some similarities of things brought my attention to something that was in Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. So yeah you see I like Brandon Sanderson so I found books I enjoy with similarities to his.
My only 5 star read this month was the Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.Everything else I've read this month has been average. Hopefully next month will be a bit better.
Scarlet Tides - If the next two books in this series are as great as the first two this might become a favorite series! The Blade Itself - very promising start to a trilogy
Shards of Time - I really loved the whole Nightrunner series and I'm sad it's over (at least for now)
I got some good reading done this month for me, these were the best threeMarked
Clean Sweep
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 2: Squirrel You Know It's True
1. Sandman Slim (loved it so so much)2. the Gryphonpike series (I'm cheating but it's a series of novella so... not cheating that much ? perhaps ?), especially A Stone's Throw and Dead of Knight, they were my favorites
3. Fangirl
This was difficult... I had a really good reading month and loved a lot of books.
Kings of the Wyld was my only 5* read from September, but it was fantastic so I'm okay with only having one 5* read. :)

The Heart's Invisible Furies - my first 5* in five months. The Cloud Roads - loved the world and characters.
It was a so so month but there were some bright spots. The scary magical Locke & Key, Vol. 3: Crown of Shadows, the fantastic fairy tale-ish take of the Russian revolution Deathless and the super fun rock and roll tour de force The Armageddon Rag.
