I suggest getting the first and starting it to see if you like it, then adding the others. If you don’t care for it, you could be stuck with a while series to review.

That would probably be sensible Kristie but I'm leaning towards Vicki's approach. Maybe I should split the difference and get the first 2 or 3 ;)

Lol well I read the first one a while ago and I really enjoyed it until the end and then I was a little concerned about where her character was headed. So I figure the next four is enough to have to review if I end up not enjoying them as much lol

I think most people enjoy it, so hopefully you'll love it too. It has high ratings in general. It just wasn't for me. I had some specific issues with it that I just couldn't get past.

And if I recall, there was a 'is he really bad or partly good' question about him. The "romance" bugged the crap out of me. I just didn't get it. Of course, I'm not generally a lover of the romance genre, but this one was really not my thing. (hide spoiler)]
