Hi everyone! :) I'm Dezzy, I live in the US, and I'm in my last year of high school. My favorite genres to read are contemporary and romance, and my least favorite genres are historical fiction (with a few exceptions, like The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue) and thriller/horror. I love reading and making new friends! 💕 And I'm definitely a huge procrastinator haha, so this club is perfect for me. Excited to interact with you all!

Hi! I'm Faith from Seattle in the USA. I read mostly fantasy and science fiction, but I like darker contemporary too (nothing fluffy lol). I primarily read YA but I'm branching out more now that I'm technically supposed to be an adult lol. Hi everyone! I’m Becky from the UK, I’m 24 (only recently so sounds weird saying that 😂). I didn’t get to read much during my college & university years from taking on too many commitments there 😂 so I missed out on quite a few series! I’m also just always behind on hyped books 🙈
My favourite genre would have to be fantasy! I mainly read YA but I do branch into adult fantasy series too. I love reading retellings mainly, but I’m quite happy delving into many genres! Really I just love a great story, it can be fantasy, mystery, romance - whatever really I’m willing to try it! 😁
One genre I am afraid of trying though is horror for sure - don’t want those sleepless nights 😂

My favorite genre is self-help/spiritual and my least favorite is probably sci-fi. I say that because I've never actually read a sci-fi book (so maybe I'm pre-judging) but the concept of it doesn't interest me. I didn't even enjoy ET the movie. Hello everyone! My name is Marti, I'm Italian and I'm currently living in Panama. Other than reading, I love to write and watch T.V. I go to the movies at least once a week. I like almost every genre, as long as the book is a good one. I almost never read the blurb of a book, mostly guide myself on my friend's opinions. I used to finish every book I started even if I was hating it, but that is changing recently because I have little time to read and I want to use it wisely. I love Goodreads almost as much as I love reading and often spend more time here than actually reading. Since there are not many bookstores here in Panama, every time I go to the US or to Italy I fill my bags with books (it is an actual mental condition, I am physically unable to control myself. Just last week I was in Miami for a week, and I went to the Barnes and Noble closer to me EVERY single day. I ended up buying 15 books that week. The booksellers were starting to look at me like I was insane).
Anyway, I hope you all keep writing about yourselves because it's really nice to meet you all!

Hi! My name's Josi and I'm 20 years old! I live in germany on the days I have uni classes and in switzerland on the days I don't haha. I mostly read ya contemporay, I love some diversity. (lgbt, mental health...whatever just give it to me haha) and ya fantasy but rarely high fantasy bc it's just not something i seem to be able to get into. I also enjoy some adult fiction from time to time and even a thriller once in a while.
I have a serious book buying problem, I buy more than I can read and end up unhauling a bunch of unread books bc I lost interest in them.
When I'm not reading (or at uni) I'm most likely watching some TV series or a movie bc that's what love most besides reading.

I have a massive amount of books on my TBR, because I love to buy books xD. I have also lot of unread books in english.
I love to read fantasy, scifi, thriller and contemporary stuff and I like to try other genres. I also love to read comics and mangas or listen to audio books.
I only wish I had more time for all the great books around me xD. I have way to many hobbies aside of reading, like playing games (PC, console, board games), watching movies and series, doing creative stuff (especially in my Hobonichi :D). So, there is not much time left at all but I love doing all these things.
This group will be a lot of fun, i think and I'm really looking forward to be active here and read more of my english books finally.

oh yes, it's very beautiful here and i totally like the weather here (often stormy, rainy and grey :D).
I like high fantasy, urban / dark fantasy, sometimes ya fantasy - I think, I like almost all kinds of fantasy :D. But I don't like extrem kitschy storys, with brainless girls who only yearn for the asshole male protagonists (I have to roll my eyes the whole time while reading then xD.)
One of my all time favorite fantasy books is btw: The Name of the Wind from Patrick Rothfuss. I hope the third Book will be released someday.

Hi I'm 33 yrs old & I live in the United States. I live with my fiancé and our 7 1/2 week old kitten Luna. I read a lot but I have a bad habit of starting series & not finishing them and I'm guilty of buying lots of books I haven't read. I do spend most of my time reading though but I'm mainly a mood reader. Which leads to procrastination lol. I was recently in a review slump for a few months and I feel like I'm finally getting out of that! ♥️ My fiancé is new to Goodreads & I just got him back into reading last year (his mom is a retired librarian- how could he not read? 😂) and he mainly listens to audiobooks & reads pretty much anything I recommend to him. He has been fussing at ME to read Throne of Glass! I read the first one and stopped to catch up on NetGalley books and now he is about to be ahead of me in the Red Queen series as well 😑. We are both gamers too, I like mobile and console (mainly Xbox) games. My favorite genres are YA, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Paranormal/Horror, Thriller/Mystery, Historical Fiction, Contemporary, Romance but I prefer the ya or rom com type over the smutty kind. My least favorite genres are memoirs, self help, etc. I do read outside my comfort zone though and I'm excited to be here & make new friends! I also keep the Harry Potter movies on my tv on a kind of perpetual loop bc they always put me in a good mood and reading with them in the background is the best mood music. :D

I tend to end up re-reading series like TRC, Six of Crows, and Harry Potter because I have the e-books and can read them while I'm on conference calls lmao but it makes me sad that I don't get to all the awesome novels I want to read. I like sushi, kangaroos rats, and the sky. I'm a sucker for a good slow burn relationship, and I'm an intersectional feminist :)

My name is Kayla and I'm 20 years old, almost 21 (in December!). I'm absolutely rubbish at getting to my TBR pile. More specifically classics and books with a lot of hype. My favorite genres has to be romance, historical fiction, fantasy, and contemporary. I'm not a huge fan of horror books but I'm trying to change that. I'm really excited for this book and I hope all of us procrastinators can tackle a few books (and get one step closer to reaching our reading challenge for the year).
