hello there, im bram. i am seventeen and im mexican, i lo sci-fi and classics and dont enjoy romance as much, but i can read it. my favourite book series is the hunger games, my favourite book at the moment is heart of a dog by mikhail bulgakov. i have been reading since forever but only children's books and honestly without shame i was a fanfiction reader, still am but with bigger and better formed taste, either way i have gotten more and more into reding the last two years.i despise spicy book tbh.

Hi everyone, I've been a part of this group for a while but never introduced myself! My name is Peyton. I'm 19 years old and in my first year of college studying sociology with hopes to become a lawyer in the future. I've always been a huge reader but in recent years haven't read quite nearly as much as I used to. However, over the summer, I brought myself a Kindle, and it has been such a game-changer and gotten me out of my reading slump. This year I have the goal of reading 52 books and I'm already 30 books in and can't wait to crush my goal! I read almost any genre but my favorites are romance, fantasy, and dystopian. Aside from reading I enjoy journaling, listening to music, trying new foods, traveling, and playing sports.

Hi everyone! I’m Chlois and I’m from Texas in the US. I’m currently finishing up my last year of college and wanted to get myself more motivated to finish books that have been unread and on my shelves. I have a problem of buying books faster than I can read them.

I read mainly murder mysteries, paranormal horror, and fantasy but I’m getting more into nonfiction science books as well! I wouldn’t say that I have any favorite authors though besides Agatha Christie for mysteries.

I love to read, to play video games and to travel. I've already taken a week-long trip and three weekends since the beginning of the year. Tonight I'm off for another weekend and in a fortnight I'll be backpacking on my own for a few days!

I've been working in a museum for eight months after completing my master's degree.

I'd love to have a cat but as I'm planning to travel quite a lot, it clashes with this dream...

My favourite genres are fantasy and romance. I also really like historical fiction! I'd really like to get into thrillers and horror, but I'm having trouble finding good books.

I procrastinate on reading the books I have at home, some have been there for years, but this year I've set up a pick from a jar that I use when I'm open to "blind suggestions" haha. Otherwise, I just grab books from my shelves as I feel like it at the time. But the worst thing is that I often let my mood decide, and that mood prefers to choose to read books that I've just discovered on my kindle.. So yeah, I hope the challenges I do on goodreads will help me tackle my physical TBR!

I read a lot of fantasy and romance but am branching out into new genres (hence the ridiculously huge TBR I'm too embarrassed to put up here on goodreads lol).
Procrastination is a problem. My bookshelves are full of unread books (around 300 at last count?). I buy them with every intention of reading them...but then I get sidetracked, or I'm not in the mood, or [insert some other excuse]! But I'm glad to be here with so many of you who are the same - makes me feel 'normal' (whatever that means) 😂
